DAY 8: Beijing Rickshaw ride, Panda Gallery, Summer Palace & the mall

Started the day with a rickshaw ride through the Hutong District, a maze of narrow alleys, local merchants and restaurants and basic housing (shared kitchens and use of public toilets).  A definite flavor of the simple every day life of some in Beijing.

The largest zoo in China, the Beijing Zoo’s Panda gallery offers Giant Pandas  indoor and outdoor habitats and plenty of bamboo. Though mostly sleeping, these national treasures were adorable and a fun short stop.

Rounding out our morning was a stroll through the Summer Palace, a vast complex of lakes, gardens and palace buildings.  It was most notably the summer residence of the Empress Dowager Cixi, the “Dragon Queen” who controlled the Quing dynasty government for almost 50 years (1861-1908).

Di hari rabu period day 1 gabisa lari krn ngilu2 bagian perut dan pinggang. Kamis masih agak banyak tp kepengen gerak jadi memutuskan utk jalan pagi, kebetulannya nemo plg sekolah jam 10 karena ada bbrp ruangan kelasnya harus di maintenance. Baiklaaah kita jalan pagi bolbal ke bandara husein. Letsgoowww!

Pas ktemu buibu di sekolah dan tau abis jalan pagi lsg pada pengen diajak jalan pagi haha. Bener yaaa jgn omdo weeeyy! Eeh mama runner jg ngajak lari antara kamis/jumat. Kita putusin kamis deeh, besok berarti. Anak2 msh plg jam 10 sampe hari jumat.

Mama runner ngajak anak sulungnya lari, tp katanya mau 3k aja, mama runner mau 8k, hayulah kemon ngikut aja. Katanya mau easy run bgt soalnya lg nurunin HR yg meninggi pasca sakit flu yg berkepanjangan huhu.

Dan bener easy bgt pace sampe jadi 8 tp di huawei health aku jaraknya jadi 9k. HR aku di pace 8 aman bgt bisa sampe 130an yg biasanya 140-150 di pace 7 lebih haha. Since I have a new tablet, I've decided to try out some art apps, so I could draw everywhere I wanted. I have a Huawei MatePad, products from Huawei don't have Google play or any Google services for that matter. So, most of the programs here can be found at the Huawei app store. This is just me rambling about things. Any rating that I give is completely subjective, please don't see this as the attack on your fav program!

Today I'll be talking about Dotpict. This app is somewhat special, since it's from Google play and I had to transfer it from my phone to the tablet.

There was a moment in my life when I was like "Hey, maybe I should try to make pixel art?"

And so I tried. This thing is not for me, but the app is great!

It's free, you can make static art AND animations, it has a great variety of tools, nice and simple design that is easy to approach and understand. I'm sure some of you might enjoy this app more than I did

9/10 for me personally, only because the pixel art isn't for me
