I spent the evening looking into this AI shit and made a wee informative post of the information I found and thought all artists would be interested and maybe help yall?
edit: forgot to mention Glaze and Nightshade to alter/disrupt AI from taking your work into their machines. You can use these and post and it will apparently mess up the AI and it wont take your content into it's machine!
edit: ArtStation is not AI free! So make sure to read that when signing up if you do! (this post is also on twt)

Hard for all users to locate the “opt out” options. The option has been known to move locations.
You have to click the opt out link to submit a request to opt out of the AI scraping. *You have to submit screenshots of your work/face/content you posted to the app, is curretnly being used in AI. If you do not have this, they will deny you.
Users are saying after being rejected, are being “meta blocked”
People’s requests are being accepted but they still have doubts that their content won’t be taken anyways.

As of August 2023, Twitter’s ToS update:
“Twitter has the right to use any content that users post on its platform to train its AI models, and that users grant Twitter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to do so.”
There isn’t much to say. They’re doing the same thing Instagram is doing (to my understanding) and we can’t even opt out.

They also take your data and content and sell it to AI models.
But you’re in luck!
It is very simply to opt out (Wow. Thank Gods)
Opt out on Desktop: click on your blog > blog settings > scroll til you see visibility options and it’ll be the last option to toggle
Out out of Mobile: click your blog > scroll then click visibility > toggle opt out option

I took time skim their ToS and under “How We Use Your Information” and towards the end of the long list: “To train and improve our technology, such as our machine learning models and algorithms.”
Regarding data collected; they will only not sell your data when “where restricted by applicable law”. That is not many countries. You can refuse/disable some cookies by going into settings > ads > turn off targeted ads.
I couldn’t find much in AI besides “our machine learning models” which I think is the same thing.
What to do?
In this age of the internet, it’s scary! But you have options and can pick which are best for you!
Accepting these platforms collection of not only your artwork, but your face! And not only your faces but the faces of those in your photos. Your friends and family. Some of those family members are children! Some of those faces are minors! I shudder to think what darker purposes those faces could be used for.
Opt out where you can! Be mindful and know the content you are posting is at risk of being loaded to AI if unable to opt out.
Fully delete (not archive) your content/accounts with these platforms. I know it takes up to 90 days for instagram to “delete” your information. And even keep it for “legal” purposes like legal prevention.
Use lesser known social media platforms! Some examples are; Signal, Mastodon, Diaspora, et. As well as art platforms: Artfol, Cara, ArtStation, etc.
The last drawing shows the same person as the title saying, ‘I am, by no means, a ToS autistic! So feel free to share any relatable information to these topics via reply or qrt!

nursing a drink by your hand on the wood, you sent another glance to the green fabric of the pool table, where jason, dick and roy were rounding through a game. jason and roy were on the same team — but only because dick wanted to prove he'd improved since the last time.
that time, a few months ago now, dick had managed to pot the black eight-ball on his first turn after breaking the triangle, and so roy laughed in his face and made him team with him so it wouldn't happen again.
so far, dick was doing alright for himself, but everyone was waiting for him to slip up. the light sheen of sweat along his hairline suggested perhaps he knew that.
at the same time, jason's gaze peered up from the other side of the game, shadows from the dim pub light dancing along his face. he sent a soft smile before looking back at where dick was practically stretching out along the green to make his shot.
"careful," roy teased as he rounded the table to where dick was positioned, sending a light smack to his backside. "you're gonna raise some unwanted attention."
dick only chuckled, and inched further. he was careful to pull back his arm, and precise when he snapped it forward, sending a satisfying click to echo through the room.
the white ball rolled towards some solids — his team this round — and managed to knock them forward, but not close enough to any nets, and dick scowled, standing back up to his full height.
the end of his cue nicked the ground as he stepped back. "you distracted me."
smug smile coming up on his lips, roy let out a laugh. "more like you distracted me."
as jason eyed the table for the best place to hit from, dick travelled back to where you and kory sat off at a small bench in the corner. he tucked his cue under his arm and lifted his golden drink to his lips.
kory was saying something to dick under her breath, which seemed to cause him to choke on his pint; your own attention was on your boyfriend, curious as to what his next movements will be. when on the pool table, jason's a force to be reckoned with, but tonight dick actually making it difficult.
a bunch of solid-coloured balls were surrounding the white one, and, no matter where he moved around the table, he couldn't seem to get a clear shot of a stripe.
from beside you, kory hummed a deep honey laugh as you imagine dick returned the sweet nothing, and her eyelids flutter shut as he leant forward to press a soft kiss to her skin, glowing in the lamp light.

jason gave a groan and stepped away from the table, laying his cue down on the edge.
"big bird gets two goes," roy piped up again, his own cue perched along his shoulders, hands limp as they rest upon the wood. "hope you're not crumbling under the pressure," he added, turning to jason as dick began to make his rounds for the best angle to shoot.
teeth chewing absently at his bottom lip, jason stood with his hands firm on his hips, dark eyebrows furrowed as he watched dick take his first turn. "no— how was i supposed to even go anywhere?" he all but whined, gesturing at the table, where dick was failing to hide a grin as he levelled up his next shot. "he's eating us up!"
sighing heavily, roy diverted his attention back to where dick's ball knocked into the wall, but not hitting any of the other balls along the way, and his pout lightened. "great! we're back in the game!"
though not anything he'd actually done to earn another two goes, jason's expression illuminated right away, and he sent a strong clap on his brother's back as he moved past him.
"i'm gonna turn my back for one second, roy, and you better get two stripes in by the time i'm back," he spoke, tone much too serious for a game of pool in the back of a bar — but roy had a toothpick jutting from his bottom lip and an arm extended in an attempt for a first go, so didn't respond.
as jason approached you and kory at your own little table, his fingers dipped below the hem of his hoodie, curling beneath the fabric. his voice remained casual, despite the end of his t-shirt beneath riding up (and your inability to look away, poor thing), as he spoke to his brother's girlfriend. "you sure he hasn't been coming here on his days off?"
hair ruffled when he re-emerged from his removed hoodie, jason folded the shirt once and edged closer to where you sat, though kory was none the wiser.
she merely brought her straw to her lips and looked away. "i got ten bucks not to tell."
although not an answer, it was more than enough one for jason, and his lips curled up, that soft boyish laugh of his shining through. and he looked up at you.
goosebumps rippled along your bare legs, from up on the base of your thighs, down your shins — just with a glance.
"you okay? enjoying yourself?"
and you'd thought his voice calm speaking to kory. with you it was just different. caring, concerned, considerate. soft eyes; not just looking on and having small talk, but really questioning, peering past whatever answer you gave him, looking into the soft twitch of the corner of your lip, catching onto the crease in your brow, barely there. but he would still catch it.
with a nod, you instinctively leaned toward him. "yeah, i'm great, just getting a bit tired, is all."
his smile faltered as he ran his eyes over you once more — it wasn't into a frown, but just something soft and neutral, as if acting as though his next action wouldn't cause your heart to swell deep beneath your ribs.
leaning forward quickly, almost with chaste, jason pressed a sweet kiss to the top of your head, running a hand over where he'd planted a seed of adoration. at the same time, he draped his half-folded hoodie over your lap, an action so well-timed you'd almost not noticed.
he pulled away, and you were ready to watch him saunter back to the game, where you could see dick having his turn past jason's broad shoulders. but his pale green irises glanced down, and he edged forward again, calloused fingertips brushing against the sliver of skin left seen.
your eyes moved between the careful action of his fingers tucking the hoodie softly over your thighs, the warmth from the fabric seeping into your flesh, and the softness of his eyelashes fluttering in concentration, his lips thinning and scrunching to the side until he decided his hoodie was just where it should be.
when he looked up again, that smile was back: light at his eyes, something running through those fields of green that you wished to chase — but not here — creases at the corners that weren't quite deep enough to be dimples, but etched into his skin like a pen to paper. without thinking about it, your mouth reciprocated; until the pool game in the back faded away, until kory's presence dissipated, until it was two lovers beaming back at each other, until—
"jace!" the voice of one roy harper rang from the pool table. "stop being ushy gushy and get over here! i got those two shots in you asked for."
roy's disruption didn't perturb jason's expression of contentment, but it did snap you out of your own world.
one last time, jason leaned in and ran another hand over your head. "after this game finishes, 'kay? then we can get going."
with another nod, you watched as jason half-jogged back to the table and take the cue roy was holding out for him, void of your boyfriend's presence, but his body heat still warming your legs.
absently, your fingers drifted to the soft fabric of the hoodie placed over your thighs.
perhaps it would be worth the wait to go home.

I mainly use Paint Tool Sai - for blurry stuff CSP.
I have been drawing for a long time, though for way too long I used to only draw anime stuff bc it was comfortable and did click well (at the time I earned my money with my instagram account "yourdrawingpineapple") but I never felt like I could try different stuff and therefore didnt improve as much as I probably could've. For more realistic faces and muscles the best tip I can give is references. A lot of references. (And confidence ;))
I never went to any kind of school, but my twinsister is an artist too so she helps a lot by giving constructive criticism e.g. ❤️

Steve wanted to throw you a surprise party to celebrate your promotion at work. But he didn't have the slightest idea of how to do it, he had asked Natasha and Tony... the options they gave him... they were not yet at that point in their relationship; Steve was thinking of something more... friendly and innocent.
He remembered that before everything was consulted in the newspaper ads when you need some service, he turned to look at the laptop, you had told him that on the internet he could find everything he needed.
With some fear - he did not want to cause a fire or break the computer - he began to look for what he needed. And he was completely amazed, with a few clicks he had gotten everything he needed and by himself, it felt good to be able to do something without the help of another person, especially if the person was trying to defeat -cofcof Natasha and Tony cofcof- his purpose.

Saturday came quickly, although he had not told you, he knew you would arrive around two in the afternoon and find everything arranged, he had even sent virtual invitations, emphasizing that it was a surprise party.
Only the chairs were still to arrive, but when the truck arrived and the chairs started to be brought down, Steve felt very confused, there were so many child-size chairs, he started to argue with the manager until he showed him the order Steve had placed, he had chosen the wrong chairs.  
"Internet so helpful," he mumbled, he had to think fast about how to fix that little problem.

Several DTC ecommerce advertisers are doing admirably well with Facebook Ads.
But I don’t think any brand should depend on a single marketing platform.
I’ve written before about how to bring winning Facebook assets over to Google using a Performance Max campaign that replicates the social experience as best as possible.
Today, I want to make a case for when, how, and why to consider YouTube Ads.
What to know before you begin
YouTube is a unique platform – not truly search, not fully social. It’s part of Google, yet it stands on its own. As a result, it’s not easy to master.
I tackled this in 7 important YouTube Ads lessons every media buyer should know. If you don’t want to click through, here’s the gist.
Facebook and Instagram combined great targeting with a captive audience to shorten the conversion cycle, spoiling other platforms for many advertisers. On YouTube, users either watch content they enjoy or learn how to do something.
YouTube lets you target people based on something they searched for, but they’re not actually searching for it at that moment. This intent lag, combined with the diversity of intent, means the “next step” after YouTube has to be particularly compelling.
A brand with a robust organic YouTube program will outdo one that’s using the platform solely for advertising. They have high-quality content waiting for people who end up on their channel from an ad.

The reporting for video action campaigns is more in-depth and robust than many other Google campaigns, including Performance Max. You can take advantage of this to optimize quickly and intelligently.
YouTube fits nicely into a wider marketing or media buying mix, whether you need a new platform to expand your audience or want to scale an existing campaign. But you can only succeed if you know and accept its limitations.
With that in mind, here’s why direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce brands should consider YouTube Ads.
Why YouTube and DTC ecommerce pair well
Remember the frame of mind people are in when they’re browsing YouTube.
You’ve got folks in theater mode, looking for a solution or catching up on content. And you’ve got people scrolling through Shorts, similar to the endless scroll of social media.
But unlike Facebook, ads on YouTube are interruptive. Whether they appear at the start of a video or in the middle, you’re asking for attention when people would rather be doing something else.
But if there’s one thing DTC ecommerce advertisers are good at, it’s thumb-stopping hooks.
Ultimately, both platforms are about the retention graph. Like Facebook, YouTube shows you a chart of how many viewers stay on a video until the end. You’ll want to refer to that chart and tweak your creatives accordingly.
How do you get more people to stay to the end? Make your content more interesting.
With a strong hook and compelling storyline, your “ad” could be anything from a music video to a fix-it guide.
As long as it’s entertaining, people will watch videos several minutes in length because that’s what they came to YouTube for.
Another approach is to build around short-form, snackable content. Take your winning ads from Facebook, chop them up if they’re longer than 60 seconds, and populate your channel with several organic Shorts.
You can use these to start advertising (see below for how to set this up). Any content that does well organically should also do well in the ads platform and vice versa.
5 recommendations for new YouTube advertisers
It’s easy to get things wrong on YouTube, from unrealistic expectations to expecting crystal clear attribution. But with the right approach, an already strong brand will likely be elevated further.
Here are five things you should do to give your brand the best chance of achieving that.
1. Know what you’re getting into
YouTube has over 2.68 billion users, making it the second-largest search engine behind Google. So once you’ve tapped out other networks – Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and everything else – YouTube offers tremendous scale to diversify further.
Note: Google’s attribution is largely click-based, so you won’t see as many reported conversions. Both your ROAS and CPA will be lower than you’re accustomed to, while campaigns will need more time before you start seeing the results in post-purchase surveys.
2. Understand the platform
YouTube Shorts is particularly interesting, but Google doesn’t offer the ability to create a Shorts-only campaign. There are ways of getting past this – kind of. 
Create a new video action campaign that targets only mobile devices. This somewhat forces the system to go only to mobile devices, and in that format, it tends to lean towards Shorts. 
Be sure to only provide vertical video assets shorter than 60 seconds.
3. Adopt the right mindset
You won’t get the same ROAS you do on Facebook, at least not the same reported ROAS. But it can provide a similar level of incremental revenue and scale. 
Your approach must differ since YouTube is about creating awareness so other platforms can win more conversions. 
Whatever revenue is reported by Google, know that it’s just a drop in the bucket in terms of its incremental impact on your business.
4. Don’t try too much at once
If you go in heavy with YouTube, there’s a good chance you won’t get any results. Start with one campaign and see how things go. YouTube is budget-intensive. 
Without sufficient investment, there’s a good chance that you’ll go months without seeing any scale. Or worse, pull the plug on what could have been a high-potential campaign.
5. Use your own attribution
There’s a strong chance you already use post-purchase surveys to ask customers where they first heard about your brand. This is a good way to find people who discovered you on YouTube but converted elsewhere. 
But it’s self-identifying and not foolproof, so you may wish to consider tools like Northbeam or Triple Whale to measure impact. Just remember, no attribution is ever perfect.
YouTube is the next frontier for high-performing ecommerce brands
I like to think of YouTube Ads clicks as the beginning of a beautiful journey.
Some people go on to become website traffic and enter your remarketing campaigns. Some will join your email list. A few may not click or visit your site but think about you later and look for you by name, eventually entering your funnel via a branded ad.
Naturally, attribution and reporting aren’t robust enough to track all that. So you’ll need to be patient, trust in YouTube as well as your own creatives, and look for incremental correlation rather than causation. This means not testing out other platforms as you expand to YouTube.
Keep in mind what YouTube means to people. It’s a source of entertainment, an escape from reality. A place where people go to have their biases confirmed, problems are solved, and businesses and careers are made.
It’s only natural that users value their time there and have demanding attention spans.
But if you’re sitting on winning assets that offer and align with what they’re looking for, ignoring YouTube is as good as leaving money on the table.
