Meowdy, Cherry!! It's me, 👾 !!! I'm sorry I wasn't able to send any enrichment your way yesterday. I hope you'll take this list of headcanon ideas anyway. (´;ω;`)
- JJK men taking the reader out on a date! Would Choso enjoy going to a museum? What about Shiu taking dear reader on a night time drive? Bonus points if something goes wrong, but the date ends on a happy note anyway.
- What do YOU think the blorbos do as a hobby? Does Nanami enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles? Perhaps Toji secretly knows how to knit. The possibilities are endless!!
- When do the JJK guys realize they're in love with the reader? What is it about said reader that draws them in? Are there any traits they'd like in a partner?
- Do the JJK goobs have any... Special interests? Yeah, we know about Nanami's love for food and baking, but have you ever considered Brony Gojo. Maybe Nobara likes dating sims! Maybe not. Up to you!
- What if... What if the READER asked the JJK mfers out. What then??? What if Reader starts making moves??? WHAT IF THEY GET FLOWERS?????? It's real spoil your partner hours. Reader's turn to simp.
- More character dynamics pwease... I am so SO curious as to what you think the characters think of each other. What are the intricacies of Nanami and Gojo's relationship? How about Toji and Shiu? Could Choso and Megumi bond over being weird and emo-adjacent guys? I'm basically just begging to see these guys be friends with each other. Pleasepleasepleaseplea- (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
I tried to make them a mix of like-- x Reader things, but also some general headcanon stuff! Feel free to do whatever you want with these. I'm also throwing cute little stuffed animals and snacks in your enclosure!!! Have fun!!!
(=^▽^)/ 💜
👾 MY BELOVED MEOWDY TO YOU TOO!!! 🤠
first of all, DO NOT APOLOGIZE. you have already provided me with SO much enrichment and now you have returned with a whole list of delicious headcanon ideas??? truly, i am thriving.
SECOND OF ALL— THESE REQUESTS ARE SO GOOD. like hello?? dates gone slightly wrong but still ending cute?? special interests??? BRONY GOJO??? (i am both terrified and intrigued) plus i love writing how these weirdos interact with each other, and now i have an excuse to go feral over the intricacies of their relationships 😈

omg i would love a norrix outsider pov
Took me a while to decide who to make the outsider, because there are honestly so many good options, but I eventually settled on Max V. Hope you like it!
Also, is it still a drabble if it's almost 1.5k words? Genuine question. This one got away from me LOL.
Even before introducing them to each other, Max had had a feeling Lando and Martijn would get along well. He'd thought their personalities would mesh well, and maybe Martijn's supportive optimism would be good for Lando (he may be a rival on the track, but that didn't mean Max would ever wish anxiety or emotional pain on him). Plus, he knew Lando was a big fan of Martijn's music. It would be fun to see his mind explode when he got to meet someone he was a fan of.
When their friendship took off from the moment they met, he initially didn't think twice of it. He was just glad that they'd hit it off as well as he'd hoped they would. When Lando started going to more of Martijn's shows, and going on trips with him, and just generally started spending more time with him, Max had thought, good for them!
Their "world tour" vacation, and some of the photos that came out of it, was when he first started to wonder about how close they'd actually become.
He'd known that Martijn was interested in more than just women for a while. But Lando . . . well, it had never really come up in conversation before. Motorsports in general weren't known for being very queer-friendly, so the topic was usually avoided. Max was sure there were queer people in the paddock somewhere, but he'd never asked and he'd never expect them to tell.
But something about the way Lando acted with Martijn . . . the way he smiled and gushed when he got to talk about him, they way he jumped at any opportunity to spend time with him, the way both of them had such an easy, effortless chemistry with each other . . . something about it made him wonder.
When Martijn's birthday rolled around, the last thing he expected was for that wondering to be silenced. He'd sent Martijn a birthday message, as usual. He went about his day, taking care of work, doing a bit of sim racing, and catering to his cats (honestly, they were in charge of him, not the other way around), until he sat down in the evening and opened Instagram out of late-night boredom.
He'd nearly spat out his Red Bull when he'd seen Lando's latest story.
Yeah - no. There was no way that was a photo a totally platonic friend would post for someone's birthday. He was wondering why Lando even had this picture. One where Martijn had a lot of skin showing. After another moment of thought, and an oh moment, he decided that maybe he didn't want the answer to that question after all.
He'd been briefly confused when the story disappeared around twenty minutes later . . . only to be replaced with a different, but no less platonic, choice of photos and captions.
Lando obviously hadn't meant to publicly post that first one. And that made him wonder about the implications behind it. And if he was trying to mask those implications, then Max was sorry to say that his second attempt had mostly failed to do the job.
Was there something more between them?
Once that thought entered his head, he started to pay more attention to their interactions. And now that his eyes were open, he realized just how blind he'd been before. Maybe it was because they were his friends, and he hadn't even considered the possibility of their relationship developing like this at the start. Or maybe Charles wasn't the only one the phrase "I am stupid" could apply to.
He caught Lando and Martijn messaging or talking to each other incredibly often. Their smiles were always bigger after being together. Whenever Lando had a break in his race schedule, he seemed to fly straight to Martijn's side, wherever he was. When Martijn released yet another love song, and Lando liked the announcement post almost instantly, Max finally realized that maybe there was someone he was writing them for. And when he saw the way they looked at each other in person . . . suddenly, he understood what people meant when they used the term "heart-eyes."
Max didn't say anything. It was their place to tell him, not his to tell them he knew. As long as they were happy, he was happy for them.
It was in Zandvoort that he finally got positive confirmation of how close they were. As disappointing as another loss was, he really was happy for Lando's win. God knew he'd fought like a lion for it.
He knew Martijn was around, and expected to see him sometime after he was done with the first of his post-race duties. And sure enough, Max spotted him just outside the garage area as he was stepping out for a break from the craziness. But he wasn't alone.
Lando and Martijn were side by side, laughing and smiling. Lando still seemed to be glowing from his win, and Martijn was basking in that glow. There was no other way Max could describe the way he was looking at Lando other than loving.
He didn't want to interrupt their moment, and stopped far enough away that he wasn't intruding. He didn't intentionally spy on them, but it seemed like every time he glanced back their way, they had somehow gotten closer together. When did they start holding hands?
He really couldn't believe he hadn't seen what they were sooner. Now that he'd noticed it, it was impossible not to.
He had pulled out his phone and was absentmindedly scrolling when he realized that he didn't hear their voices any more. He glanced up, and did a double-take as he caught them pulling apart from a kiss.
He wasn't sure how he managed to fix his gobsmacked expression before the two of them parted and Lando finally turned his way. Lando smiled at him and happily made his way over, so he assumed he was at least somewhat successful.
"Hey, Max!" Lando greeted him. Max met him in a one-armed hug. "Martijn and I were wondering why we hadn't seen you yet. Red Bull kept you a while, huh?"
"Yeah," Max said absentmindedly. His mind was still caught on the image of Lando and Martijn looking at each other like the other was their whole world.
"Hey, um . . . we're good right?" Lando asked, biting his lip nervously. "About today?"
Max snapped out of his distracted thoughts instantly. He didn't want Lando to think he was mad at him about today, not when Lando had had a genuinely great race and it wasn't his fault Max hadn't been able to get the car to perform as well as it needed to. "Of course. You raced great today, Lando. Really."
Lando smiled at him, clapping a friendly hand on his shoulder. "Thanks, Max. That means a lot. You had a great race, too. Had me nervous a couple times out there." He playfully tugged Max along. "Come on, I still need to find Charles and congratulate him, too. Didn't get a chance after the podium."
Max followed along willingly. He'd already spoken to Charles, but he didn't mind following Lando. If they were heading back towards the garages, maybe he could find Oscar and congratulate him too while he was at it.
"Oh, um," Lando said after another minute, sounding a bit nervous again. "How long were you, uh, standing there? Were you waiting for one of us?"
Max knew what he was afraid of - that Max had seen him and Martijn together, and that he wouldn't want to be friends with him any more. He slung an arm around Lando's shoulders in another friendly one-armed hug. Whatever happened between them on track or in the paddock, he never wanted Lando to think something like this would change their friendship.
"Just looking for Martijn, wanted to thank him for coming today," he said. "I was only waiting for a few minutes, don't worry."
Lando nodded, but his tension didn't dissipate, and Max knew that wasn't what he had been worried about. So he continued.
"I'm glad you two have each other, by the way," he said. "He's treating you well, right?"
His meaning was pretty clear. Lando blinked at him in surprise, searching his expression for any sign that he might be hiding his real opinion or getting ready to push him away. Max knew he would find nothing, because he didn't feel anything like that. Who Lando dated was none of his business and didn't affect how he performed on the track. If anything, he was just glad that two of his friends had found happiness with each other.
Finally, Lando smiled in relief. "Yeah," he said softly. He gave Max another pat on the back. "Thanks, Max."
Max smiled back. It didn't matter how heated things got on the track. He would always be glad for his friends' happiness.
#maybe i'll post this on ao3 too idk. or write up a longer version#or maybe i'll do a whole collection of norrix outsider pov fics#it would be a fun theme to explore#lando norris#martin garrix#norrix#f1#f1 rpf#f1 fanfic#ask

Post-Riven Ideas
Been thinking about what kinds of games I'd like to see from Cyan after Riven's launch in a week. Cyan mentioned at Mysterium that they'd like to make smaller more experimental games in the Myst universe partially to revive the franchise but also to avoid too much financial risk. For instance Firmament had a rough launch and stretched the company thin and many of the devs I spoke to mentioned their frustration with the project and the backlash it received. What was also mentioned to me was Cyan's interest in rekindling the magic of the early Myst games in the same way Star Wars: Andor did recently for Star Wars.
They also mentioned that a smaller more Myst-sized game or even smaller would be much less of a financial risk compared to say a massive sprawling epic like Firmament. Some ideas that were tossed around at Mysterium were: Pre-Fall D'ni Post-Fall D'ni A stylized Myst game A Myst horror game Anything involving new characters and time periods A Myst dating sim (not joking)
Here are some of the ideas I'm interested in:
A game about Veovis and his downfall featuring Anna and Aitrus. Set on K'veer and maybe some small ages. Could be either post-Fall or pre-Fall. It would allow us to explore the whole island and read his journals and explore his personal rooms and inspect his belongings. If set pre-Fall we could interact with him as a character along with Ti'ana and Aitrus and uncover his dark plot right on the eve of the Fall while delving into his not-so-subtle romantic love-triangle with the other main characters. The point is it would allow us to finally explore K'veer in its entirety. Bonus would be also remnants of Gehn's stay on the island if set post-Fall.
A game set on Releeshahn centered around Marrim. This would take place after Revelation but before Uru, roughly sometime in the mid to late 1800s. A new cast of characters with occasional Atrus and Yeesha cameos but ultimately centered around Marrim and her uncovering of the secrets of Releeshahn. Book of Marrim would be the tie-in novel for this game. This might be a bigger project since it would be set on Releeshahn and might require several years of dev time so maybe not the first thing Cyan focuses on after Riven but I know its a story Rand and RAWA had planned for a long while.
Garternay and the Exodus or alternately the origins of the Art. This could be a weird one and possibly unlikely one but it could be a really deep dive into the story of Ri'neref and the founding of D'ni or alternately the origins of the Art and how the bahro were enslaved. Did the bahro create the Art initially? How was the tablet made? Etc. I know Robyn Miller has a whole design document for a TV show pitch he did a few years back that would have focused on Garternay and from what was posted on his site and twitter we can see that Garternay was most-likely a barren scorched age in the final days of its red giant sun. There's a lot we could delve into here. We also know that Gehn's timepiece likely shows the planetary map of Garternay possibly before its sun went red giant, although this is something Gehn was told when gifted the timepiece so it's not 100% verifiable. In any case Garternay could be an interesting left field game to produce but I honestly doubt Cyan would reveal that much. Maybe if Robyn is involved.
D'ni Renaissance era. New D'ni character drama set at the height of D'ni civilization. This could be smaller game set during the height of the era of Kings during the reigns of Rakeri or Kedri or maybe one of the bad kings like Tejara or Ti'amel. I'd like to see another heavy character driven narrative but set in this peak period of D'ni civilization. Maybe the story of an exiled Writers Guild Master who's been framed for murder wanting to reconcile with his best friend who now wants revenge etc. I'd like to see more human stories about people in this universe and their personal and interpersonal struggles a la Myst/Riven/Exile with a clear goal in the game to resolve these issues.
Ok but I do really want a D'ni dating sim where you get to romance Veovis and maybe some other D'ni guild master hotties >:)

The FABULOUS Siblings! ✨
Yet again, I have given a bit of makeover to one of my townies and created my own sim to go along with them. This time, it's Izzy Fabulous and my OC: his sister, Mo Fabulous!
...like 'more fabulous', get the pun?
I was inspired to create Mo from this news thing posted by EA themselves! I guess Izzy originated from The Sims Mobile (which I've actually tried a while ago - I didn't like it lmao), which is why it's mentioned in that post. Anyway, it's written from his POV, and he mentions having a sister named "Mo". I thought it would be pretty interesting to put a face to this character, since as far as I know, no one else has done it already. So here she is!!
Izzy's letter implies Mo lives (or in my headcanon, formerly lived) in the Fashion District in San Myshuno, and I imagine this is where she lived for some time before reuniting and moving in with her brother.
They both currently live in Del Sol Valley, by the way! Their place is actually a tad bit empty (at least that's how I think it looks), but I imagine with their creative personalities, they'll be able to spruce up every room and totally make this place their own. I've actually already redone a few rooms around their home, including adding a little 'work room' of sorts where they'd be able to show off things they've designed and bounce inspiration off one another!
Mo actually used her brother's computer to write her lifestyle reviews for her job (she's a Simfluencer) - her computer is supposed to be the one with the white chair and the cute cat succulent thing. Of course, Izzy had to show off his mock-disappointment.
◆◆◆
As for my headcanons for these two, I see Mo as older than Izzy. He seems to really look up to her (if his letter indicates anything) and actively take her advice. She also seems quite savvy in the world of fashion design and selling what she creates, hence how she ran her own hair salon before Izzy opened his own store.
"Mo" is short for "Morgaine", by the way. It's a French name, since of course, its capital happens to be one of the 'fashion capitals' of the world. She definitely went to college in Paris and majored in some sort of fashion design.
Speaking of Mo running a hair salon, she was obviously the one who dyed her brother's hair - it's confirmed in his letter! She might appear to be a prim and somewhat haughty person outwardly, but she's really supportive of her brother. She's probably the kind of person who absolutely wouldn't have minded when he used to get into her clothes and play dolls with her when they were kids. And of course, she never hesitated to stand up for him whenever he felt self-conscious about his prematurely graying hair (check his wiki page, it's canon!). Pink/lavender is one of her favorite colors, so it was no surprise that Izzy also wanted his hair dyed like hers. I don't know if his hair color (before it went gray) was originally brown like hers, but I thought it worked best with her pink highlights.
Izzy is definitely more eccentric than his sister; he just EXUDES the same vibe as that little brother who tags along with his big sister and wants to copy her. Mo is of course more level-headed and even sometimes wonders what in the fresh heck her brother is doing with his outfit choices and other decisions. Though she figures that as long as he isn't hurting himself or anyone else, let him be him. It makes him happy, and that's all that matters.
Mo: "You're going out in that? We're going to a showcase in a museum, not a disco!"
◆◆◆
As mentioned previously, Mo worked for some time as a hairstylist. However, there's no such career in the game unless one mods it, so I might look around for one to put in my game. For now, however, she's a Simfluencer.
I imagine Mo had to close up shop so she could properly relocate with her brother, but she still enjoys helping others feel and look their best. Thus, she does a lot of odd jobs that allows her to interact with other people. I've also started getting her to design, buy, and sell outfits on Trendi!
Yeah, one of the outfits she bought used the freaking eyeball ring unironically. She promptly relisted it for sale.
Oh yeah, and here's a prime reason the Fabulous siblings are the kind of people who prefer to create trends rather than follow them. Mo sees that the Rocker style is trending, so she creates an outfit that uses Rocker style pieces. She tries to promote it, only for it to flop. Are we implying the hype went down because Mo isn't 'conventionally attractive' or some shit? HOW DARE YOU.
On another note: as I was looking up career tracks, I noticed a Fashion Photographer freelancer career that I thought sounded interesting (imagine Mo photographing customers wearing her brother's designs!), though it comes with the Moschino Stuff Pack... which I don't have. I don't know, I guess I'm still on the fence about getting this pack just to have a new career track. Maybe I'll make a more definite decision in the long run.
◆◆◆
Izzy, on the other hand, is still doing his canon thing as a Style Influencer. I've been making him work from home a lot, and he does a lot of checking in at different venues as of late. And of course, he often asks Mo to tag along with him so they can both hone their networking skills.
No, I don't know why Dennis Kim (I think that's him in the back?) is giving us that weird look.
◆◆◆
Oh yeah, remember way back when I mentioned that Izzy runs his own fashion store? Well, unlike the - frankly - cash-grabby store his Sims Mobile counterpart owns, Izzy bought a little place he plans to call "Chez Fabulous" (look, I'm not very creative with names of places...)!
And of course, he recruited Mo to help run the place alongside him.
They just so happened to open their store in Mo's old stomping grounds, San Myshuno! I did try to find somewhere in Del Sol Valley at first, but I couldn't really find a good store off the gallery that fit in any of the lots...
Apart from Lilith Vatore doing whatever the heck she was doing with her vampire powers and opening the store a bit too late in the evening (they were open for six hours and ended up closing at like 1 AM), Chez Fabulous was generally successful and had a sale! (Thanks, townie with the 'broke' last name who ironically owns the most expensive lot in Del Sol Valley!!!)
I will definitely post more with these two, so maybe like and follow for more? ^_^

You are such a fantastic writer and blue lock fan!! ty so much for sharing your headcanons and thoughts about the boys!!! I highspeed ran through the anime and manga in a week lmao and have been obsessing over the fan content and you have been one of my favorite blogs <333 I don't have anyone to talk blue lock so I wanted to drop in and mention a dream I had if that's okay??
It was so stupid but it was inspired by that reader insert basis of being a manager in training for the boys but instead in my dream I was training to be a sport announcer for some reason?? So I was watching in real time the matches of team Z vs others and later Isagi's teams and plays against Rin and such and making commentary like 'ANOTHER FLAWLESS NUTMEG PASS DEFENSE AND OH! OHHH!!! EVERYONE STAND BACK BACHIRA IS ONCE AGAIN TURNING THIS COURT INTO A DANCE FLOOR. THE BEAT IS DROPPING AS HIS ENEMIES DO, TOO!!" or "YES A DIRECT SHOT BY THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGENDDDDDD ISAGI YOICHIIIIIII!!!" it was wild but not too biased bc I was properly losing my mind over both sides of the match when something impressive happened. But I remember it being such whiplash to a lot of bllk boys bc I have a petite, curvy, and cute appearance but had the heart and roar of a crazy American announcer during games lmao
but honestly?? Aside from Ego needing more creativity for training sims (soccer boys vs holographic zombies WHEN) bc if he's gonna have that much money and tech and ruin these guys' lives let them have some fun in a interactive/simulation, their soccer feats absolutely deserve hype men. Is there anything you wish the manga added, out of curiosity?? I saw a post point this out, but I also wish the (vastly superior!!) female Japanese soccer team is mentioned at some point. Ty for letting me share/reading this btw!! Have a great new year!!
AAAAH nonnie this is so late but PLEASE you're so sweet !! <///3 i am sOOO happi u enjoy my content &&all the silly brainrot asjflksa cmere and let me give u a kiss ! >_<
this dream sounds so fun ajhsklh and you are SO right for that !!!!!!1 you slayed that job getting all hyped.. as you should :3 ! these boys def need a hype man AND an announcer too......... it would be so funny to hear what they'd have to say about some of these games 😭
i'd LOVE to see some more casual scenes like the one they had in shibuya :( like ??!#! that was giving me LIFE i hope we get another chapter or two like that soon ! something else i'd love if they added would be some psychological help 4 these boys LOL but that's just ur psych zari speaking :3 on a serious note it'd REALLY be interesting 2 see how these boys handle being isolated and tired out at the facility for so long tho,, taking breaks w school too ?????? idk if it makes sense but i'd just rly like to see what are the possible consequences to them always being on their 100% and having their usual teenage lives ripped away from them :o do they ever get back in school? do they have any issues w that? is there any mental health professional in the bllk facility in case someone needs help????? i hope there is lol
i agree on the female team sm too !!!!! that'd be absolutely amazing :3 in fact i'm very surprised it wasn't mentioned at all but welp that's football for u i guess we girls never get recognition yet alone in a male dominated space q_q
#✧.* ✉ zari’s mail#🌸 mail: nonnie#thank YOU for sending this in &reading my works bbie !!! <3#i hope this year is being kind to you so far >_< MWAH#blue lock

Now let's talk about something else...
I wanted to post about this earlier this week but was too tired. New sims pack incoming woohoo.
This one I didn't think I'd be excited about, but now I kind of am. Here's why: They are adding updates which look like they'll make interactions between sims, especially family members, more interesting! Some of these are gonna be base game updates, but it sounded like a couple are part of the new pack? Which I don't really get, I feel like all of this should be a base game update... and maybe I'm misinformed and it is, but anyway we'll see.
First is they're giving us family dynamics! You can assign different members different relationships: supportive, close, difficult, etc. There are a few options which seem pretty well-rounded. Now the question is how much, if at all, these dynamics will actually affect gameplay. Many previous similar changes didn't result in much change because emotions and other buff override them. Lifestyles does seem to have an impact, and I sort of like them, but I struggle with keeping them. Every single sim ends up a "homebody" or whatever that lifestyle is called because it's so annoying to leave the household lot often enough lol. And it's also difficult to make any sim a loner because the bar for being a "people sim" is so low lmao.
My concern with the family dynamic is that it will only have an impact when sims are set as "difficult." Negative emotions make everything difficult in sims. And although some simmers complain there's not enough drama... tbh I find drama in the sims so boring. Because yeah, all it does is make them not want to do anything. They're in a bad mood so they won't do their hobbies etc. You have to do ridiculous things to make them happy again, like play hours of video games or look at a funny painting several times... It's better than it was at release, but I still don't really enjoy it when my sims are in a bad mood...
This one though I find even more promising than the dynamic. I was thinking it's too bad the family dynamic thing can't be rolled out for all sims even outside of the household, but this "Sims characteristics" sort of does that. I love love love that my sims won't just be instant BFFs with literally everyone. I'm looking forward to making sims who are difficult to befriend and sims who just don't like people hahahaha. Still not too sure how this will really appear in gameplay... but at least it will affect their relationship bars and compatibility.
Kind of similarly, these new preferences for conversation topics I think are really cool. I like that Deep Conversation won't work on everyone, and especially that some people will dislike arguments and complaints! I feel like this will make sim traits more interesting. I'm not sure if, for example, having a preference for "Compliments" means you like to give compliments or you like to receive them, or both. We'll have to see. But I think it sounds cool, especially since the majority of sim interaction is them talking to each other.
Lastly, the infants update!
I wasn't so excited about infants because I didn't really get how they'd be different from toddlers. I'm still not TOTALLY sold... it still feels like just extending the toddler phase, which, despite being a pre-K teacher, I try to age my sims out of as fast as possible lol. Honestly I would have liked a more robust Child experience better (although I think I heard that's getting updated as well - one example is skills gained in childhood not totally disappearing in adulthood, yes!! - so here's hoping).
But I do think the new infant stage sounds like it's gonna be adorable. I love the temperament settings. They really do reflect what I see as a pre-K teacher - and I was especially happy to see "calm"! Because I do have kids I have described as "calm" but usually that's lumped in with something like "sunny." All calm kids are not super cheerful ones! I have a kid right not, actually, who I have known since we was barely over a year old. My nickname for him back then was "calm boy" because he liked to observe everything - not in a cautious way, just in a "enjoying watching" way - and he never ever cried. He didn't laugh much either back then. He was a little expressionless. But then we had a big school event, and for the first time I heard him cry! The big change was too much and he just had to let it out! Ironically he was the only kid that day who cried hahaha. Anyway now he is two, he laughs and smiles all the time, still cries only rarely, and is much more active. But still, overall, so calm! He talks even to teachers in such a gentle voice and is gentle with other kids. He's very agreeable. It will be interesting to see how he grows over the next year. But yeah, even now I wouldn't describe him as "sunny." He's just a cool, collected kid!
And of course I know tons of wigglers, and cautious kids, and sensitive ones too. I waffled over "intense," which I expect was picked instead of "difficult, challenging, wild." It's hard to find a word without negative connotations for kids who have an abundance of energy and a strong will. I might have preferred "strong-willed" to "intense," but I'm not sure everyone would agree. Now what I'm wondering if anything from infant temperaments will carry over to later in life. They don't always, of course, but they often do. I don't know if there's a way to work that in or if it's just too complex for a life-sim game. But I guess I would like it if sims who are sunny as infants get the cheerful trait or something... but not at the expense of getting to pick traits myself, that is.
Although I did also hear that there will be some unlockable additional traits added! Like you can earn the neat trait by cleaning all the time and stuff. I think that's good and also means you might as well avoid traits that are easy to add through behavior later on when you pick sims in Create-a-Sim. There are also a bunch of additional traits you can get win with points which have been in the game since the beginning, as well as traits you earn through different accomplishments. I have a few sims I really love playing because they're so bulked out with a lot of traits. But until now it has been difficult to get more traits. Actually, there are some traits I have wanted but haven't been able to get because the method to get them is bugged! So I'm very pro-easier additional traits. They make more interesting sims. I remember back when the base game came out and we found out we got only three traits and only two for younger sims. "That won't be interesting!" we said and were told the emotions system will make them interesting, lol. I don't know hate the emotions system - I'd miss it if it went away, I think. But I do dislike how it became the EVERYTHING in sims 4. That did make the game pretty boring, tbh.
The changes made later didn't really affect it because the emotions are so strong. But they've been rebalancing things and adding new things and now it's possible to have some real fun with sims if you put some work into them. I'm really happy about that. I do just wish they would focus on fixing broken or bad gameplay too, though. I'm still sour about Wedding Stories, and I think High School Life was a miss too that focused way too much on being trendy and the silly idea of sims having all the options of an iphone. But Cottage Living and Werewolves were very good imo, and I also still love Island Living pretty much solely because it lets us build lots over water lol. Now and then Sims does things which really impress me and kind of make up for all the disappointments. Fingers crossed...
