Okay... so how each of them would react if one of them died

If Killer died (somehow, even though hes literally already dead)...

Horror would probably blame everything on himself. He'd pace around their cave, wondering what he did wrong. Did he not catch enough food, did he fail to keep Killer warm enough, did he not notice that he possibly caught poisoned food? Did he forget to remind Killer to drink enough water or not notice that he might have been sick? Did he not realize that he was injured, did he fail to protect Killer? How did he fail as a mate so horribly that Killer died? Horror would stop eating and simply curl up in a depressed ball and bury his face in his tail. He'd probably snuggle with Killer's dead body until Dust convinces him to toss the already decaying flesh into a river or something

Dust would go quiet, simply filled with rage at the world, at everything, at whatever caused Killer's death. He'd likely fly up into the trees and lay there for a bit, and then swoop down and kill whatever poor animal happens to Cross into his line of sight. Dust wouldn't speak, at all. He kind of would go numb for about a week after Killer's death...? And then he'd start hearing Killer's voice in his head sometimes and probably hallucinate him occasionally. He'd see him in his dreams. He would comfort Horror (badly though, he's not great at comforting people, not matter how much he loves them) and would have to convince him to throw out the decaying body.

If Dust died...

Horror would react practically the same way as he did if Killer died, just nobody would be there to tell him to get rid of the body. Horror also would then have to mostly take charge of their pack, since Killer is an idiot and has no idea to take care of himself, so Horror wouldn't be able to curl into a depressed ball and cry since he really can't let Killer starve otherwise he might just kill himself.

Killer would be confused. Very confused. He understands death very well, but... Dust...? Really, Dust?? Killer, after being confused for a few days, would become very upset. He wouldn't be able to sleep. He would chew on practically everything, including tree bark which he usually avoids. He'd likely accidentally swallow a rock or two. Then, he'd bury himself in Horror's tail and stare blankly into space.

If Horror died...

Killer would kind of do the same thing that he did for if Dust died, just... worse. He'd bite himself as well as bark, rocks, sticks, bones... and he wouldn't have a tail to bury himself in, he'd have to latch onto Dust and hug him tightly, because Horror was pretty much his caretaker. He'd follow Dust everywhere after that, he didn't feel very safe without Horror, then big guy of their pack. Their protecter and loved mate.

Dust would do almost the same thing as if Killer had died, just now he'd have to take care of Killer. He would take Killer out hunting and take him everywhere, he doesn't trust Killer on his own. He'd kill everything on sight (except Killer, of course). At night when Killer is safe in the cave, he'd fly up to a high tree and stare out into the stars and moon. He and Horror uses to star gaze a lot of the time, and he missed Horror's awe filled gaze when he saw the moon.

I feel like if Horror did die

Killer would almost be in denial about Horrors death. He'd sit by the entrance of the cave and make noises in an attempt to lure him back to their safe haven. Killer sits there, waiting every day and only goes in when Dust drags him back into the cave to huddle or simply to hide Killer from any danger (like predators/hunters or other packs)

Dust may act more harshly or aggressive while being extremely protective yet strict with Killer at the same time. He wouldn't let Killer leave his sight unless to shield him. Nor would he even allow Killer to leave the cave without his knowledge and permission. Killers fragile, and he's not going to risk him getting hurt. He can't lose him, and Horror would've lectured him for being careless if Killer got a bruise.

And if Killer died, ohHghueuha

Horror would feel horrible survivor guilt and start 'bed' rotting in the cave. He'd barely move, hunt, or anything other than cling onto Killers body in hopes that he's going to wake up. That if Horror keeps his body warm enough. There's a chance that he'll just become undead again. That's what Horror hopes to be true. Obviously, that isn't the case.

Dust would have to sit there and try to replicate Killers biting in a way to comfort/soothe himself and Horror. If Killer nibbled on Horrors hand after a meal, Dust would replicate that. In a way, it's to distract himself and to make Horror feel better.

Horror may continue the habit of breaking the skull of their prey and being reminded when he turns around to hand-feed the brain to Killer. He sort of stands there as he recalls what happened. It always ends with him having a mental breakdown. So much so that Dust has completely banned him from joining him on hunts to avoid this.

Whenever they head to bed, Dust stays up longer to see Killer (he's hallucinating him). He knows it isn't real, but he would rather live in a delusion for tonight before facing tomorrow, where he's reminded that Killer is gone. For real this time. He's not lost. He's dead.

And Dust dying? Woagh

Horror would have a sudden responsibility to hunt, scout for threats, and while taking care of Killer. Killers a mess, he lacks logical thinking and follows the very little instincts he has.

Killer is always at risk of being killed. And that causes immense stress to be suddenly dropped on Horror, and without someone to soothe him or take such burdens off his back so he can focus on one thing.

Horror would try to keep Killer in the cave while he goes out to hunt, and he's anxious every time he returns because he can't trust that no one will find their little cave. Or if Killer ran off to find Dust or him.

Every time Horror finishes a hunter, he drags it back to Killer and opens the skull for him. The thing is, Killer would be confused on why there was still so much blood left since Dust would've sucked it out before. And then Horror would have to sit there and explain to him the events that caused Dusts sudden disappearance.

Killer would just start to anxiously chew on his clothes or knees. Horror has to stop him before he breaks his own teeth. They'd cuddle every day, mostly for Horrors sake since he really can't handle losing either of them. But also, since Killer can't fully process what's going on. He just feels miserable and would rather have the mutt keep his thoughts at bay rather than having to acknowledge the truth.
