A friend recently told me another friend of his has started watching doctor who in the most bizarre order I've ever heard. Started with twelve, went back to nine, skipped ten, and is now on eleven.

The crucial part of this is that this person was just introduced to River Song in Flesh and Stone, and knows absolutely nothing about season four. After watching the episode, they remarked, "I think it's cute how they flirt like an old married couple. I wonder how it would have been if she'd ever met David Tennant's doctor."

My friend and I are watching with baited breath to see how this whole thing plays out.
