i ADORE yandere!Deku -remembering the whole danger sense thing when he has it and Toga attacks him vs when Shigaraki has it and he attacks him??? Amazing. I want to re read the chapters to get a better idea -it could add more to what he is currently feeling conflicted about. He wanted to save him, truly and honestly wanted to. But he also wanted to hurt him, and he only didn't cause more harm because he DECIDED, consciously, that its not what anyone needs.

But what he felt wasn't completely heroic -he tends to get so defensive with his friends and teachers, and he is able to contain himself because of his morality and having enough self control. You hurt Kacchan? He says fuck it to it all unless there's something/someone that can give him hope things will go alright.

He was always just yandere with brain damage
