1. What are their parents’ names?

Skylar’s parents are Kendra Trevelyan and The Iron Bull, of Dragon Age fame. Bull, at least. Kendra’s an OC. From Dragon Age.

Skylar’s here now because when I first started playing the Arcana I went “ooh male pc!” and chose my most recent creation to get started. And now the entire spanning universe/multiverse is out of my control.

7. What important lessons did their parents teach them?

They both taught him “take no shit”, though they came at it from different angles. Kendra’s more of the “make them regret what they just said through any means necessary” type, while Bull’s on the “stand up for yourself and your beliefs” type. Skylar usually follows his papa’s advice, but part of Kendra’s lessons were the verbal smack-downs. And Skylar’s all about the verbal smack-downs.

Skylar’s good money sense came from Kendra, and her side of the family in general. They’re all involved in business in some way. Kendra personally taught Skylar magic in the Arcana verse, where she knows magic as well (and has The Magician as her patron.) In DA, Skylar lived in Orlais several months of the year to be tutored by Vivienne.

Bull was the one to get Skylar used to leaving his comfort zone by taking him out when he was a wee munchkin so he wouldn’t be indoors reading all day. It’s a big factor in why Skylar’s so outgoing and confident in meeting new people. Bull also taught Skylar horn care when they started growing in when Skylar was fifteen. Horn care is very important.

8. What are their grandparents’ names?

Kendra’s parents are Hayden “Bann” Trevelyan (father) and Asha née Khatri Trevelyan (mother). We know Bull was raised by a tamassran.

Bann died when Skylar was about four or so, but he was rather close to Asha.

I do have a full list of Bann + Asha’s descendants here. Would be cool for people to check it out the Trevelyans are my favorite OC family.

10. Do they have any siblings? What are their names?

On that list linked above are Barta and Reta, Skylar’s older adopted twin sisters. They’re eight years older than him, dwarves (per DA), and Reta’s deaf. Skylar’s first language was sign.
