i have fully been converted into a john winchester apologist at this point but i still don't want to watch the winchesters because it just doesn't look like. Fun
#honestly if the whole plot wasn't centered around 'there's a picture of dean and we wanna find him' or whatever the fuck#i would absolutely watch a prequel of john & mary but it also doesn't even make sense in canon which is why jensen changed the canon#so it's just pointless LMAO#also i'm so annoyed bc this 'fandom' (still hate that word) is so hypocritical about john while they pretend to understand his sons.#i've already laid out how i feel abt him & everything but it's so fucking annoying to have such a vehement disdain for a bad fictional dad#but genuinely how stupid is it to comment on the cycle of abuse when you are still waist-deep in it? sam and dean perpetuate the cycle#they punch and kick and bite their way through everything (including each other) to desperately keep each other alive and constantly make#awful decisions that one or the other is always harping on them about.
