i only just found out about the bts drama during season 7 or pre season 7 of the 100........ holy shit............... i never thought someone could be This Petty and Spiteful............. safe to say i'm going to actively avoid anything jroth touches, yikes.

(also "the actor had to leave so we wrote this into the story" is the WEAKEST excuse to ruin a character arc and puts the blame on the actors for needing time off/moving on when the writers are just incompetent. plenty of shows have dealt with actors leaving and in this case bell's actor wasn't even leaving, he just needed reduced hours? the fuck. prime example - nina leaving tvd and returning for the finale. was it an amazing ending? no. but every fan would rather have an underwhelming finale than one that absolutely butchers the characters.)

I mean I 100% agree with you on everything you said though like... let’s say that even if the100 had had a perf ending I wouldn’t have considered catching up because as it is right now everything to do with that show is wholly and thoroughly ruined and I’m not even rewatching what I liked of it because just seeing the mention makes me feel angry af, but like jroth always was a shit showrunner and this trend of fucking up perfectly decent endings because you have to spite your audience or the network and write stuff that makes no sense just because you can and getting paid for it is like... a trend that had to die yesterday
