thank GOD i am almost done with this book, the main character is literally the most annoying person on the planet and i hate her so fucking much
#i decided to power thru bc the book isn't that long but at what cost#she works in finance and she's obsessed with game of thrones and all of her jokes are the literal stupidest puns you've ever heard#but she thinks she's sooo fucking funny and she does puzzles in her spare time and i hate everything about her#she doesn't deserve happiness or a boyfriend i hope her hunky chef (who's also extremely fucking annoying fwiw) dumps her#honestly all the characters are just too therapized and flat all the conflict just feels so forced it's dumb. do not recommend this one#also the sex scenes are super lame so yet another count against it!#oh i should say this is the christmas countdown by holly cassidy#which like yes im reading trash fiction and complaining about it#but also i like my trash to at least not be insultingly bad#this just fuckin sucks dude#bri babbles
