I like to think that whenever Kakashi first met Yamato and learned about his wood style jutsu, there’s just a running gag for their friendship that’s been going on for years where everyday Kakashi gets a handful or a watering can filled of water and just pours it on Yamatos head whenever he can. Why? He’s just looking after his plant after all!

At first it would annoy him but after a few years Yamato didn’t care anymore and pretty much just rolls with it. (Sometimes by growing little sprouts wherever Kakashi watered him. Like a little Chia pet..)

I finished season 4 and subsequently I have more thoughts about season 3 in comparison.

I did not like season 3 when it originally aired, I get why they formatted it like that in hindsight, and I loved listening to the season, but my criticism with it at the time and still now is the non-emphasis on Junos more healthy period is so fucking weird, thematically. Because the fact we don't see any of Juno's very important kind-of recovery period weakens the overall message about mental health. Junos life now includes 6 people as main characters of it, which I like the concept of them then being important enough to get the narrator spot but I feel like season 3 was what season 2 was building up to, and now that we had it, to see Junos full payoff we delay it for a season? The pacing is fucked, I think. I love season 3 to death but the pacing of it for both Jupeter and Junos relationship to himself is fucked. It's probably the biggest criticism I have of Juno Steel because parts where my attention wains and things are either a bit tedious or boring is absolutely nothing compared to the fact we never get to see the big payoff for Juno Steel the character when we need to see it.
