You’d been crushing on Max for a while now, his laid back California attitude was something that you didn’t see much in Salem. His smile was absolutely adorable. One day he unexpectedly walked up to you. “Hey” he said “whacha doin?” “Umm I’m just doing my math homework” you said, because it was kind of obvious since we where in math class. “Cool, now I -uh I was wondering if you’d like to come over to my house after school?” You where absolutely stunned. He wanted to hang out with you? Your mind raced with thoughts but you managed to let out, in the calmest manner you could. “Sure, sounds fun” as soon as you spoke you second guessed yourself would he think that you where weird? Ugh you shouldn’t have said that. Now he’s gonna think you’re desperate. It’s safe to say that was the longest day of school you’d ever had. You learned nothing, just daydreamed of what would happen after school.

Soon enough the school day was over and you where at max’s house. He showed you around the house, and his room. Although he didn’t know where everything was himself because he had just moved in. Time went on and you two flirted and hung out. The. He suggested that you two go out and play around of basketball. He bet you that if he one you’d kiss him. Ofcourse with the height difference you lost and had to kiss him “okay I guess I’ll just go for it then” you said nervously before pressing your lips against his. Mmh even though you’d only met him a few days before it was amazing how his lips molded against yours. It felt like forevor, but not long enough. You lost, but you sure get like you won

“Max!” Y/n shouts from the bathroom. She had miraculously started her period a day before she was supposed to. She can even hear her boyfriend tumbling through the house like a crazy person until he reaches the bathroom.

“Uh yes babe?”

“Max can you grab me my bag pleasee.”

He goes to grab it quickly. “Why exactly do you need your bag in the bathroom?”

She rolls her eyes before grabbing the bag and slamming the door. “Thanks, but my cramps are going to kill me before I can answer all of your questions babe.”

“Cramps?” He decided to sit outside the door waiting for his girlfriend to get out and give him attention. So clingy.

Y/n starts to wash her hands. “Yeah Max period cramps.”

It finally clicked in his head. “You’re dying!” She wanted to roll her eyes so badly. A period didn’t mean death. At least, not most of the time. Y/n opens the door and sees her boyfriend sitting on the floor with a worried face.

“Max, I’m not actually dying. You know that right?”

“Yeah, but I still feel bad. You wanna watch a movie or I can go grab you some snacks or-” Y/n shuts him up by kissing him.

“A movie sounds good.” She smiles at him before he gets up and practically runs to pick out a movie while she slowly makes her way towards the couch.

Max goes through all of the VHS tapes and tries to grab the ones he thought she’d like the best. Even Dani’s movies weren’t safe from his rummaging. “Okay I got a few here what genre do you like more right now? Horror? Or comedy? How about adventure? Maybe a disney movie? Or even maybe mystery?” He kept rambling on trying to appease his ‘injured’ girlfriend.

It was really sweet though. “Let’s just call Dani from her room and watch a disney movie.”

“Dani? But I wanted to be next to you and that brat always pushes me off the couch.” If there was anyone that loved y/n more than Max did, it was definitely Dani. And suddenly it was like magic when the small pre-teen appeared almost out if thin air.

“Who you calling a brat?!” Max flinches at his sisters sudden appearance. And he gets even more annoyed when he sees Dani hop on the couch and curl into y/n’s side. “I’d love to watch a movie with you guys.”

Her smile annoyed Max more than it should’ve, especially because she was so smug about it. He decides to just play the movie and sit down on y/n’s other side. Although, when he attempts to put his arm around her Dani slaps it away. “Dani I’m going to murder you.” He whispers trying to make sure his girlfriend didn’t hear.

“I’d like to see you try.”

“Can both of you calm down? Let’s just relax and watch the movie. Please?” Y/n smiles at the siblings who sigh and give in.

“Y/n do you want snacks or something? I can go grab it real quick I promise.” Max begins to ramble again not wanting her to do much of anything.

“Max, shhh.” She pecks his lips and just leans into his side to get him to shut up and watch the movie. And it worked because feeling her relax into him made Max feel at ease. He lets out a content sigh as the three of them sit there watching the movie and, despite what they say, enjoy each others presence.

A small rarity, but it was welcomed none the less. Especially by the Dennison parents who came home to see all three of them sleeping soundly on the couch. Dani held tightly in y/n’s arms, and Max with his arms around both of them. Mrs. Dennison can’t help but snap a picture. One she’d cherish for a long time.

With the new Hocus Pocus movie coming out I’ve been seeing stuff about people having a crush on Max as a kid. And I’m just kind of here wondering. Was I the only person who was absolutely head over heels on love with Thackery Binx??
