Random ask simply because I can: any long stories you think oughta be short?

hmm... not that I can think of. I feel sure there are movies I've watched that have made me say "this should've been shorter" but as for written stories and audio ones, no I'm usually along for the ride whatever the length.

since I assume this is in reference to my url, that actually comes from something I did back in. Oh gosh. 2014? where I would squeeze a longer short story out of short shitposts, like they were writing prompts. Making short stories long. In general I think that's kind of how the writing process goes for me - trying to stretch out a crumb of an idea into something of substance. It is also, unfortunately, how conversation goes with me. I WILL turn the recollection of what was a brief encounter in my day into a whole meandering spiel.
