Calling just any ship abusive is kinda...

Bakugō is a teenage boy who is struggling with internalized self-hatred and self-doubt. He has issues and is definitely an asshole, but that doesn't mean he is an abuser. His actions aren't justified and I'm not saying they are but abusers and assholes are two very different things.

People identify with Deku because of the bullying aspect but Deku had something that no one else has; understanding. Do you really think you understand a fictional fucking character better then the person who’s been “chasing behind him” for all his life. And this is not a rationalization. Deku calls him the fuck out on his bullshit. The difference is that he doesn’t get tired of forgiving. Because he will give him as many chances as Bakugō needs but continue be as harsh every time.

Also! Saying one ship is abusive means that all ships with that character are abusive! That's right! Kiribaku, Kacchako, Bakukami, Bakucamie, everything! Abusers don't just stop being an abuser with certain people. Believe me. I know. You are calling Bakugō, an honestly benign fictional character, an abuser. And I just don't think he is.

I don't really know why I have such an aversion to both ships but I think it may be because of the fandom?? Idk why I just see them as bros! Like I should ship it! But I don't! At least not as much I should! (Like I like it but I still have this weird feeling when I hear it and kind of avoid it just a smidge for some reason) I still like kr*bk (sorry I’m just following op and don’t want to do anything they don’t want on their post!) and td*dk but the fandom has made me have such a visceral reaction to it. I avoid it now and it makes me miss on such beautiful things such as art, edits and writing and it upsets me! Because I can’t support amazing people because people are going to have my head.

Besides the antis, I may not ship it because I feel like Todoroki and Bakugou have these people as their first real close friends?? Like I get the appeal but especially for Td*dk, they need someone to go to other than their partner. Todoroki deserves a bunch of people to support and love them and so does Bakugou! I feel like Todoroki would fall in love with Midoriya only because that was the first true attachment he ever got to someone and he would mistake it for romantic love.

Also to just ask the td*dk stans,,, where’s the flavour??? I’m just saying where’s the development?? Where’s the character growth?? If anything, Bakugō is leaving more of an impact on Todoroki at this point. The manga’s writing is genius and is making so much development in different relationships yet you still choose to ignore it so you can have your uwu yaoi babies.

Also... um 👉👈 the war arc and ova kinda fucks up any shit you can talk about Bakudeku. I understand that you don’t think that people can change, grow and become better but please do not send death threats over your ignorance :)

Different ships for different people and I respect you! I just needed to explain why I hate when people just throw abuse around without reason. Anyway yeah... sorry for the rant. I ship it but you have all the reason to hate it but you have no right to harass people who do :) so back the fuck off :)
