here comes the happy couple: an arranged marriage was formed between setteth and the royal human princess. in a world where dhampirs (human/vampire hybrid) are frowned down upon, their families aim to change both of their worlds by forming a political union. they hope to change how dhampirs are viewed the moment they acquire an heir. setteth is more than unhappy at the idea of being tied down to someone he doesn't love. will they be able to fall in love with each other at some point? or will they be nothing more than a political marriage? goodbye my almost lover: the pair were childhood friends, and they come from a noble house who works closely with the valdinias. the years pass and one thing leads to another. around the time sett is 200, they begin a secret relationship. they become an on-and-off couple typically due to having to hide themselves from the public... though at times, sett's possessive and hot-headed nature can be the problem. in sett's eyes, they are his one true love and is currently having a difficult time trying to let go of them. the betrothed: HEAVILY ASSOCIATED WITH PRINCESS CALLA (@vuotriste)! two years have passed since daemon was hired as calla's bodyguard, and in all of this time, it has become clear daemon is in love with calla. news break that the princess is to be wed to another royal elf, this fills daemon with dread. for the first time, he feels a strong hatred toward someone. the pair lead an antagonistic relationship due to their places in calla's heart: for daemon, to not be the one to publicly be by her side and call her his, and for her betrothed, to not have the same level of closeness as daemon does with calla. this is meant to be a heavily antagonistic plot that will come in between daemon and calla's relationship and will also involve 3-way threads. once upon a time: this elf was the first person to leave a mark in daemon's heart. they trained him in the ways of a mercenary and were partners for many years. afraid of daemon's power, they give her an order to kill daemon. she betrays the mercenary's guild by refusing, and the pair are on the run for a few weeks before they are found again. this is when she gives her life for him by giving daemon a route to escape their fate of being killed by other mercenaries sent by the guild. daemon believes her to be dead, but it is quite the opposite. they never had an official relationship, but they had many fleeting kiss moments where they may have realized they had feelings for each other. daemon loved her once, and being able to see her once again is sure to stir confusion within him. this may also potentially involve 3-way threads with @vuotriste. muse: miles dennen, 31 fc: dylan o'brien alt fcs: aron piper (younger verse), woo do-hwan verses: supernatural summary: a somewhat moody werewolf in the process of realizing his alpha nature. originally from upstate ny, fled with remainder of his pack to california after a hunter ambush at the age of 18. lost his mom to child birth and had a very harsh father (the alpha of their pack). recently graduated veterinary school and started working as the other veterinarian at his father's clinic.

you get me so high: miles met this girl shortly after touching down in california. during such a vulnerable time, he found himself falling into bed with her constantly. he's convinced that he likes her at one point, but time passes and he realizes he's mostly physically attracted to her. this causes a rift in their relationship when she decides she wants to become something more serious. they become an on-and-off situationship until he moves for veterinary school. typically, they would fight over her want to be something more, but miles' fear of being hurt never allows him to say yes. she's a bad person for him, and is pretty manipulative and possessive when it comes to him. he cuts off almost all contact with her when he leaves for veterinary school. news spread that he's permanently back, and then they see each other again. will things go back to how they were? or will they be better than before? Really cut me a swath here, Anon. I've done a few of these, so I'll link those answers as they come up.

My URL name is inspired by events from the Spider-Man animated series from the 90's. Peter meets Madame Web, who offers cryptic visions, ideas, and direction from her seat at the center of the Web of Fate. The idea has been expounded on in mainstream media more lately, but that's where I first heard of it. A woven web projects an idea of a plan, of interconnectedness, and there are often snags and tangles. The name in my head sounded like one that could roll off the tongue if said aloud.

I'm sure it's no surprise for me to say I primarily favor Marvel.

I have indeed written original characters, but most of them have been isolated to very small corners of both the Net and, by now, my own mind. I do have a lot of narration for Gargonn and Nasim, a master/apprentice duo I created for D&D.

I like using Tumblr for RP to meet like-minded people and talented writers. There are a LOT of y'all. It's a privilege to read what you write, and to participate in cooperative writing bits!

My first FC was Benedict Cumberbatch for Dr. Strange, and that was on my prior handle of scalpelandwand. Not hard to see why, since he plays the character and is so incredibly compelling as him.

I may be about to commit blasphemy here, but there's a redemption arc. I, at first, did not like Andrew Garfield as a FC for Peter Parker / Spider-Man. It's nothing personal against him, nor even really against his portrayal. I happen to think he was fantastic in the role. But I did feel the TASM movies needed a little more depth. I was concerned that if I FC'ed Andrew for my particular Spidey, I would be beholden to TASM canon in the eyes of my peers, and it's just not my favorite. However... after the events of No Way Home, and also several conversations with friends and acquaintances who thoroughly adore Peter in his many forms, I've come around to realizing that not only is Andrew a terribly worthy face to claim (and very easy to find pics or GIFs for in the event I want them), most of my peers are not judging my characters on their FC's, but on my portrayal of them. So although my Spidey began with a FC of Yuri Lowenthal, I switched him to Andrew after about a year on here.

Off the top of my head, I'm really struggling to think of a FC that I first loved and now hate. I could offer one that I started off neutral towards and roll my eyes at nowadays? Dylan O'Brien. I've seen a Stiles or three (dozen) around here, but he's claimed for a range of other OCs and canon characters as well, and... I dunno, sometimes I just get tired of seeing his face on my dash. Chris Evans exists on the edge of this realm as well. And it's not like I don't get it, I do, these guys are way too pretty to not use.

As for myself, I honestly don't think I have a faceclaim that I'm "waiting" for. I don't create OC's or write canon characters because my concept of them includes a particular likeness. That might actually be the last thing to occur to me in the concept design of a character. (More than a couple of my favorite characters aren't human anyway!) In fact, it's only as I'm writing this very line that I've thought of anyone I might want to use as a faceclaim, and that's Doug Jones. But anybody who knows Doug Jones knows there's a caveat to this selection -- it's hardly ever his face we see.

This doofus was a complete accident that came from a 4 AM hype conversation with @letsescapefromreality when I was struggling to finish a huge project and had accidentally thrown myself back into the fandom, originally we were just doing some Dragonshipping IM RPs but then she was just  "LET'S MAKE BLOGS" and, I the queen of no self-control and questionable decision making, went "YES"

Additionally, I never intended to go public, I was originally just going to RP with Tiffany as exclusives but when her muses died I really, REALLY didn't want to give up Atem so I started looking for one or two people to RP with because I had 0.0% confidence in my YGO writing and, at the time, was only looking to do D/S RPing (I've done that for years, it's a long story) and then somehow @begrudgingbabygoth found me and thanks to Bee I was able to venture out a little and weeeee here I am

If you go aaaaall the way back to the beginning of history you can actually see that I used to RP with gifs instead of icons, because that's generally what you do with live-action RPs and it's been YEARS since I've RP'd anime so I didn't really realize that people don't... tend to do that in anime fandoms xD I thought I'd hate going back to icons but I actually like it just as much as gifs, it's a little easier to find the right expression when the expression isn't moving/changing, it’s not as fancy but it’s easier

The first fanfics I ever wrote were for Yugioh (they were so bad *sobs* I was eight) and the fics I'm currently writing are.... also for Yugioh!! It's hilarious to me how age and being out of fandom vs being in fandom has changed my ideas, desires, beleifs, plots, etc about the series, I actually would have done more YGO fics by now probably if I wasn't trying to work on my Sterek Week fics because that's next month and hnnn I've finished NOTHING.... I run this event, I should be better than this xD I also have written/am planning to write more Teen Wolf, Supergirl, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Yuri!!! On Ice, and a few other things... if I ever get my shit together with getting the Sterek Week fics done

It’s 11:27 and the inbox is now open again! We closed the inbox on February 1st, and we’ve now had it closed for almost three weeks which has given us time to work through requests and get the inbox count down. We have gone from having 508 messages to 130 ( which is honestly amazing, that means we’ve managed to get through 378 asks). We now have 312 drafts instead of the original 370, and our current queue has 3 things in it.
