I can't stop imagining Soap/Ghost massaging the reader's back bc they keep saying it's hurting them. Whether it's bc they have a period or just straineous missions. Love your work btw! Been binge reading all of your fics😭

They'd be so sweet about it too. I love thinking about this.

Ghost

He’s not super touchy. He only really leaves short touches like a pat on the shoulder or arm

Physical touch makes him nervous. He doesn’t like the way that the feeling stays on his skin when someone touches him and he hates the way it makes him stomach turn

Yet he craves it most of the time

Maybe that’s why he offered to help massage your back after a particularly rough mission together

You were complaining a lot but you couldn’t help it because there was pain all throughout your back

You must’ve pulled a muscle or maybe you were just sore but it hurt

Ghost saw how you couldn’t stand up straight as you walked back to your room so he followed you

You were caught off guard when he offered to help you but you gladly took it. (Any reason to have his hands on you, you were happy).

If you weren’t in the safety of your room, then he wouldn’t have even thought about it but since you’re both they he decided to take the leap and do you a favor

Despite the fact that his hands are rough and have killed a lot of people, he massages the muscles in your back gently so as to not hurt you even more

He works meticulously, like always, on the knots he finds and since his hands are so big he’s able to get a lot of them

He doesn’t speak, not unless you ask him a question but he’ll listen to you talk

By the time he’s finished you’re nearly asleep and your back is free from any pain

He won’t let you give him the same treatment but he will occasionally massage your back if it’s hurting you again

Soap

Unlike Ghost, he is all about physical touch

It could be from holding hands to hugging he likes all of it

So it’s not surprise that when you’re cramping really bad that he offers to help you out immediately

He gets your a heating pad and a water to drink maybe some food if you’re hungry and has you lay down in a place that’s comfortable for you

He’ll work wherever it hurts with firm fingers that slowly take the pain away

He’s super receptive to your noises and if you tell him somethings not working he’ll try something else

He talks to you while he massages you and uses his big palms to press on particularly sore spots

He could do it for as long as you needed. He actually finds the motions to be soothing for him as well and can multitask while he does it

He treats you extra kindly when you’re on your period so you often get these massages and it’s a treat for you both
