not my brother succumbing to the stereotypical whirlwind tourist romance lol
#he met a girl 7 months ago in japan dated her for 4 months mentioned her to my parents and i last night even tho we talk weekly#bc he wanted to tell us he wants to propose#his judgement w women has always been terrible but to be fair he hasn't dated anyone in a long time and we've never met her#so we're cautiously optimistic#tho i somehow knew this was going to happen#but that doesn't mean it's bad hopefully it's good#as long as they don't stay there forever and never come home lol#she's not even from japan she's from the philippines so hopefully they come back#he's supposed to come back for a job in a few months hopefully#and he's basically planning to be engaged and come back then work for a few months and then she'll follow him#anyway this exact thing happened to my uncle somehow#i guess being a tourist makes you an exotic stranger idk#anyway 7 months of dating is pushing it to get engaged imo but 4 is crazy to me#hopefully it works out tho#this has been a shitpost#personal
