So, I'm always trying to look a little critical and Marinette was a little desperate at first... It was almost too much. I was a little embarrassed for her. But... she's still a great friend who really worries about Kagami and that's what for me doesn't made her "cringe". 

I greatly appreciated this immersion in the functioning of the power of illusion. It was very interesting. And on the one hand, it also gives us the opportunity to see how Alya perceives both heroes. That is to said, close to each other. "mon chaton" is the nickname Alya immediately chose when they are about to give up, while when Ladybug speaks with Chat Noir in the previous scene, she is really close to her partner, her hand placed on his shoulder, initiating physical contact. That's exactly the dynamic of their duo. I really appreciated that outside analysis coming from Alya.

Chat is completely out of play for this episode but it remains interesting and I think it was a very good choice. Maybe a little disappointed by how quickly Plagg joined Ladybug to tell him that Chat Noir had been "pigeonned". She doesn't react to how he got here so fast. But after all, maybe these are puzzle pieces that will gradually assemble in her mind to make the revelation progressive (this is what I would like to see, not an accidental reveal. No, I just wish they understood both who the other is. That would be really cool, but that's another topic)

I like the fact that Adrien doesn't react negatively to the presence of Rena Rouge to help Ladybug. He knew he was out of the game and that his Lady needed help. So for now, contrary to what everyone thinks, he doesn't seem to feel left aside. On the contrary, he simply admires the strength of Ladybug. And I like the word choice, he says this girl is miraculous. And in his way of saying it, we see that he's not just talking about the mask, but about her whole, about the girl under the mask. He sees her strength, her creativity, her selflessness, and I'm sure he will recognize these qualities in Marinette.

Another interesting point throughout the scene where Marinette drags Kagami along and wide, everything she tells her actually corresponds to what happens to her with Adrien... Like the "we'll re-create the moment where you fell in love" and then... Umbrella scene for Adrienette 🥰

Kagami that opens Marinette's eyes is great! It's a beautiful parallel to Lie. For even though she didn't use such clear words, she tried to open Adrien's eyes also when they broke up.

And then the umbrella scene, in detail, is wonderful. The umbrella that closes on both of them this time, the reverse scene where Adrien bangs and Marinette laughs, it's really very successful and a very beautiful mirror. Adrien looked really sad that he couldn't accept her offer. And the gazes they exchanged were sublime... So lovely.

I don't think this moment initiates the beginning of Adrien's feelings towards Marinette. I think they were there before... Somewhere... But it still sure that now I think they will start to grow more and more, very gradually, to fully bloom. It won't be a lightning bolt like Ladybug but he will really slowly fall in love. And maybe (I hope!) that will be what will allow him to understand who Ladybug is. I always liked the idea that he could understand it...

For the end card, it is clear that the blue scarf will be an important element that will come out at some point. I would like to draw attention here to the fact that the wall between  Marinette and Adrien so that the latter will return her home in this episode, it is Gabriel and the obligations that he imposes on his son. This scarf is also a brake, it's also Gabriel in a way... and when Adrien knows the truth, I think it will be another element to have him closer to Marinette and understand how he feels about her.

I conclude by saying that between the beginning of the episode and the end. We've got a big step forward for Marinette. We see a new, more mature Marinette who controls her behavior face to Adrien better and seems to accept that she cannot fight her feelings but must learn to live with. I believe that acting and thinking in this way will be the key to getting her to open up a little to Adrien and to be more comfortable in front of him. And it's when he's getting a little clumsy as well that she looks more comfortable and I found it adorable. I like to see Marinette like that and I want it to continue. Her character seems to be evolving at last more mature and it is a very interesting element.

Reverse crush? I don't know yet...You'll have to see how the Ladynoir relationship will evolve. But in any case, the Adrienette relationship seems on track, and it was the side of the square that lacked development. They have yet to learn to know each other on this side and to strengthen their friendship / trust. This is no longer to prove on the Ladynoir side. I believe that as long as Adrienette doesn't move towards maturity, a relationship is not yet possible.

Very satisfied with this episode and all that goes on!! This analysis focused on Adrienette, but other elements were very interesting, Rena Rouge and her power, the magical charms...
