Theriotype List
So, to start out, for context, I think we've all seen a skeptic comment about how all therians are only "cool" animals. I personally have always enjoyed keeping up with those with "rarer" theriotypes and even using them as examples when these kinds of arguments are brought up, so I've decided to do a little bit of a personal project, that being creating a huge list of the wide variety within the therian community. Below is the list I've created so far, sorted by general species, then adding in subspecies/breeds, all in alphabetical order.
Please keep in mind and understand that for now, I am only putting Earthen animals on this list, mainly so I and the post can keep up, because there's a LOT here already and I know there are hundreds more out there. Maybe in the future I'll make another list with mythical/fictional/etc. kintypes, or someone else can do that for me, you have my full permission, just let me know, but for now, just Earthen animals.
This list does, of course, need more entries though. If you have a theriotype that you don't see on this list, please comment or reblog and let me know so I can add it! You can follow and find it with the tag "foxskys theriotype list".

Himalayan Crocodile Newt (Tylototriton verrucosus), family Salamandridae, found in parts of South and SE Asia
Poisonous.
Some species within this genus are capable of poking the tips of their ribs through the orange bumps on the back, which secrete poison. The ribs can effectively become venomous spines that puncture the predator’s skin! (or the curious naturalist!)

Dream entry Jan 31, 2025
(Haven't had a cool one in so long)
So many environmental contexts, like exploring an open world game.
Started in a small house, little Indian girls bday party. We all had dinner and then I used the guest room to sleep while everyone else, including bf, were staying up playing some wild paranormal game with rooms changing, demon characters. It was only later in the dream that I remember looking at a boardgame saying to my bf "hey that's the game we played" with a miniature set of the House we were in and all the demon characters.
Then bf and I were walking outdoors and came across dead bodies and a serial killer sitting in the car who was the guy from Saw ("Jigsaw"). We started running to get away from him, in different directions in a panic. The Serial killer just ominously repeated "I will endurance hunt you".
So through the forest, I had to jump through a swamp to escape and get as far away as possible. Narrowly avoiding crocodiles.
The next zone was possibly water, swimming across a lake. Then the next zone was a big zone of pink geysers, the colour of Himalayan salts, but looking like giant alien succulents. Little kids were jumping across them too like a game. I climbed them and tried to race across them, avoiding all the geyser holes that were actively showing signs of eruption. So many holes and trying to time the jumps was dangerous.
The next zone was just a land made of Hawaiian shirts, like a tapestry across the ground. So I grabbed one and realised I needed to swap into something else to be less recognisable to the Serial killer. This zone also had some demons in it. Nothing horrifying, just strange looking people.
The next zone was a Japanese vending shop, with all sorts of modern boxed items, tech and soft toys. Bright lights and clean space.
The next zone I was with bf again and we were up high on this mountain peak, with giant rocky flat slabs separated by large gaps. Below on one side was a natural or ancient pool. I wanted to jump the slabs but bf pushed me playfully into the pool. I managed to reflexively hold on to the side of the cliff and edge myself down. And we ran around the pool and he jumped in, then I jumped in.
The next zone we climbed through a cave opening that opened up to a beach. There were people having a party there, covered in paint. To join in, we realised we needed to also cover ourselves in paint. There were giant paint tubes upside down with the opening like a shower facet. With other colours standing upright nearby. The black tube was open at the time and we jumped under the paint shower. Bf said "this isn't going to come out of skin that easily" and I said "oh well". And we joined the party all painted up. People were in a conga line, painted hands playfully touching each other and spreading different colours across their clothes and faces. Bf was talking to another guy with colourful hair and I suspected some attraction so I left them alone and explored. I think I was swimming across waves, some big, and I noticed some bodies under the wave peaks with extra tiny arms and boobs (lolll) so when the waves rotated them and you swam over them, their extra nubby fingers would graze you. Haha.
Then we were on a big fancy party boat with all the same people. And the coast guard rocked up with a megaphone requesting for somebody with a license for the boat. We all played hide and seek trying to avoid them. I guess nobody wanted to fess up.
Then I was inside a secret underground op-shop with two of the people from the beach, both trans men. Looking through all the clothing items organised into sections. There was a rude old man in the changing room who was disgruntled and saying something. The place also happened to be a gallery?
Then I remember watching a video of myself on some other adventure where I was paragliding, and there was an accident. I remember not remembering the details.

World’s Most Coveted Birkin Bag! Discover how the Hermès Birkin bag—handcrafted in 48 hours and famously scarce—evolved into a multimillion-dollar status symbol coveted by collectors worldwide. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3o4B5eoAcewBjxvaeC5Rxg?sub_confirmation=1 The Hermès Birkin bag isn’t just a handbag; it’s a cultural phenomenon. Its origin traces back to a fateful flight where actress Jane Birkin expressed her need for a chic, yet practical bag. Jean-Louis Dumas, then CEO of Hermès, sketched a design on the spot, and history was made. Since its debut in 1984, the Birkin has remained the pinnacle of luxury, drawing fashion aficionados, celebrities, and investors alike. What truly sets the Birkin apart is the intricate craftsmanship behind every stitch. Each bag is constructed by a single artisan who spends up to 48 hours perfecting every detail. Hermès selects only the finest leathers—think Togo, Epsom, and even rare Himalayan crocodile—reinforced with precious metal hardware. Combined with a notoriously limited supply, this meticulous approach ensures that Birkins maintain their iconic aura of scarcity and exclusivity. Beyond its functional role, the Birkin has emerged as a veritable asset. Limited editions and exotic skins regularly fetch towering sums at auction, leading some to label it a better investment than gold. In a world that often chases the next trend, the Birkin’s timeless silhouette and storied heritage stand unchallenged. Owning a Birkin isn’t merely purchasing a fashion accessory; it’s buying into a piece of luxury history. 📂 For The Latest Stories on luxury travel, getaways goods, the rich, companies, Top 10’s, biographies, Lavish History, news, and more 📂 https://www.youtube.com/@Lavishangle 🎉 For business enquires contact us at full4sog (@) gmail dot com 💬 Don't forget to leave your thoughts in the comments below. Hermès Birkin Bag
The Hermès Birkin epitomizes luxury, evolving far beyond a handbag to become both a cultural phenomenon and an investment. Debuting in 1984, its creation stemmed from a chance meeting between actress Jane Birkin and Hermès CEO Jean-Louis Dumas during a Paris-to-London flight, where Birkin expressed her frustration over the lack of stylish yet practical bags, a fortuitous exchange that gave rise to one of the most revered accessories in fashion.
Meticulously handcrafted in Hermès’ French workshops, each Birkin demands 15 to 30 hours of precision work by artisans who undergo extensive training, often spanning two years. Available in an array of materials, from the supple Togo and Clemence leathers to opulent exotic skins like crocodile and ostrich, the Birkin also features exceptional variations adorned with diamond-studded hardware. Its exclusivity remains unmatched; once rumored to have multi-year waitlists, acquiring one now often requires building a rapport with Hermès boutiques.
What further enhances its mystique is its ability to appreciate in value, with extraordinary examples like the Himalayan crocodile Birkin achieving record-breaking prices at auction. Each Birkin carries distinctive artisan markings and a coded stamp that reveals its year of production, underscoring its status as both a masterpiece of craftsmanship and a collectible treasure.

Be it Bengal tigers you are looking to catch a glimpse of, spotting elephants in their natural habitat, or just basking in fantastic scenery, India boasts some of the most exciting safari tours around the world. For visitors from or near Delhi, these destinations offer easily accessible yet unforgettable excursions. Here's a guide to the top five safari tours in India that promise a journey into the heart of the wild. If you're on the hunt for the best tiger safari tours from Delhi, here's your list.
1. Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan
Ranthambore is famous for Bengal tigers and is considered one of the greatest locations in India to spot these leopards. It is an easy weekend trip from Delhi, a few hours' drive away, and accessible to all those wildlife enthusiasts.
