Thoughts on the new promo pics:

Sansa’s new dress, absolutely loving it. She looks so good, so regal, like a true Northern queen and I am here for it. Whether it’s meant to replicate fish scales or dragon scales, I think the former is more likely though if it is dragon scales, it is most definitely in reference to Jon (the person she spent all of season 6 with, and all of season 7 defending) NOT Dany (whom she doesn’t know, will in all likely hood not be close to, and ultimately has conflicting goals with). 

Jon’s pose, replicating Ned’s pose, serving those Ned and Cat 2.0 vibes hard af. I also love that his pose is off-centered which for me just confirms what we’re already aware of—that he would be uncomfortable in a position of such immense power. 

Dany’s pose, she looks very dark, almost antagonistic. Her chin is down, shadows are darkening her expression. In addition to her expression the other thing I noticed immediately were the gloves. Blood red, Targaryen colors. I may be reading too deep into it but it got me thinking about her conquering roots and her subsequent actions because of those roots. "Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood clean from my hand?
