I don't want to be disrespectful, but I'm also curious to know if you find something off in the way Kishi talks about his family? He said he was surprised that a lot of people expected Naruto to end up with Sakura and that even his wife was angry over the fact that they didn't end up together. He tried to convince her that Hinata was modeled after her, but she caught onto the fact that he was lying. (Doesn't his wife know that he basically wrote a tragic gay love story?) Didn't he also say that she was like Kushina? But Naruto is his self insert? And Boruto is a message to his son? (Please correct me if any of this information is wrong). Do you think he's even divulged the true story he was writing to anyone? I don't know the writing process, but do you think his editors or assistants even know? I guess I'd just like some perspective or to be told that I'm wrong because the stuff my mind is coming up with just makes me think Kishi must be living a lonely life
Heh... You too thought all these things, Anon??? Well, I too gave a thought and then I ignored it altogether...
However, Naruto is Kishi's Self-Insert... A Fact which everyone knows, even Japanese readers made fun of that many times.
Firstly, He said to his wife that Hinata was modeled after her... But an interview later he said Hinata was nothing but her b00bs.😶
Secondly, Didn't Kishi made both Sakura and Hinata to be those shallow girls who never understood anything about their Husband as to who they are and how they feel deep inside??? But His wife who also couldn't Pick up/ Understand the real story his Husband was writing all along is weird as fuck for me. [[Sorry Kishi!! That’s so weird to me]]
I mean, she doesn't have to find Gay Subtexts and ship SNS but atleast she could have found out a simple fact that Sakura is totally irrelevant to the story. Right???
Okay, Let's forget about SNS. But why Kishi always says it's uncomfortable/creepy to date with the female characters that he created??
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't know why it's creepy to date with a Girl, Hinata but he don't feel shy to date a Boy, Shikamaru🤔🤦🏻‍♀️
That’s kind of spooky...!!!!
I also found another thing to be hilariously weird... But take this as a funny coincidence or a simple joke... Or whatever suits your preference.
So, in December 2013... He gave this following interview..
Tumblr media
He said he wanted to go Honeymoon...
In 2014, that is right after the Manga ended...
Tumblr media
He still said he wanted to go on a Honeymoon.
But in 2015, New York Comic Con...
Tumblr media
Even the Interviewer himself asked about the Honeymoon to which he deflected it by citing 'School' as a reason XD XD XD
This reminds me of...
That time Naruto always showed his Interest in Dating Sakura...
Tumblr media
But when she confessed him...
Tumblr media
He rejected it🤷🏻‍♀️
Hilarious.... Coincidence (???).
Do you think he's even divulged the true story he was writing to anyone? I don't know the writing process, but do you think his editors or assistants even know?
Can’t say for sure whether he divulged it to his Friends or Family. But When it comes to writing process, He couldn’t have been keeping it secret from his Assistants or even from his Editor forever. My hunch is that not everyone (even his Assistants) would have picked up the Subtexts from the Get-Go. Atleast Not in Part 1.
They might have very well taken that Accidental Kiss as another Joke and Sasuke dying for Naruto is just a basic Shonen/Chinese novel Concept for Brothers & Friends. Not something specifically Romantic.
But as the series progressed further and further or at least by the end of VoTE1, his Assistants and Editors would’ve found out what he was trying to write. There’s no way that they could be Oblivious beyond that point.... And not for 699 chapters.
Tumblr media
Look at this.
This interview was from a Fanbook that was released around 2008 or 2009, I don’t remember exactly when. But The Author was trying to get a Green Signal from his Editor to use Reverse Harem no Jutsu in his Manga. Well, if that isn’t an Important thing or it's just another Joke which doesn't mean anything, then he didn’t have to be this persistent, you know. And it’s precisely because of it’s Controversial Nature, the Editor refused outright for all those years.
Do you think that The Editor or Those Assistants didn’t know anything about any of this???
Of Course, they do.
My guess is that, his Family members might have thought that Kishi was writing some ‘intense’ friendship between Naruto + Sasuke and nothing more... Or they didn’t bother to ask him further as to what's going on with his Story Or they are not at all interested in what he was doing... That we will never know.
But what piqued my curiosity was this...
Tumblr media
“I had almost no friends”
But It feels like he is projecting his true self most of the times... He started out as someone with no acknowledgement, No friends... He failed many times before he got a chance to prove himself as a mangaka... Finally he became a Successful mangaka... And then he casually said that Boruto movie is all about Parent-Child love because he missed spending his time with his Children since he was busy drawing Naruto Manga just like Naruto not spending his time with his Children...
In that Parent-Child movie, we know that Boruto is the Child... But who is the Parent??? Because that movie was all about Sasuke and Boruto + Naruto.... Man!!! More and More Questions...

Fantasy
(nothing too descriptive but Shepard is watching porn, so just in case)
The lieutenant stood at attention, the commander at his desk with a datapad in hand. He gave the lieutenant a little smile.
“Here for my performance review, sir.”
“At ease, lieutenant.” The commander propped a leg up on the other knee and took in the man before him. The Alliance probably didn't intend the casual uniform to fit so tight but damn if it wasn't appreciated. His eyes moved up to the lieutenant's face. There was the faintest hint of a dark shadow along the man's jaw and upper lip. Clean-shaven wasn't strictly necessary among marines but it made sense for this one to be so meticulous.
“You're an excellent soldier, lieutenant,” the commander began. “Efficient, intelligent. I'm impressed with how you delegate the duties of those who answer to you. And of course you're a valuable asset to the squad whenever we go out on missions.”
The corner of the lieutenant's lips moved into a pleased smile. Embarrassed, a little shy at the praise. A sweet, full mouth.
“Thank you, sir.”
“There's only one problem, Lieutenant: I don't like lying on these reports.” The man's eyebrows bunched together. Fuck, those eyebrows. So expressive. Sometimes they managed to say so much more than any words.
“I don't understand, Commander. You said that I was valuable and efficient.”
“There's nothing wrong with your work ethic,” the commander assured him. “The problem is that in this review I need to say that you have satisfied me with your performance. I need you to satisfy me, Lieutenant.”
The lieutenant stared at his commander for a few moments. Slowly his lips moved into a wider smile. He crossed the room, tugging the commander's head up by the chin and kissing him. His lips were so hot, shaping so perfectly against the commander's. The lieutenant lifted him to his feet, knocking shit off his desk and bending the commander over. A quick unfastening of a belt and a yank and the commander's ass was exposed.
Shepard was completely engrossed in the scene. Military porn was nothing new but he'd been a little surprised to find any with Alliance uniforms given their strict policies on fraternization. He watched a few with a male and female officer to start with. Arousing, but they didn't hold his interest as much as he would've liked. Then he found one called “Head of the Barracks” featuring two male recruits.
“I'm really nervous,” one recruit confessed to the other. Name of Private Jones. The other was Private Smith. Very generic names, easy for a self-insert.
“Me too,” Smith agreed. “We just need something to help us relax.” Jones mentioned he knew an effective way if Smith was up for it, which of course Smith was. That led to Jones pulling out Smith's dick and sucking it.
That one really got his attention... in more ways than one. He jerked off watching Jones and Smith blow each other. It was definitely relaxing. Shepard looked for others like it, just two soldiers getting each other off. The ones with more obvious names like Pecker were interesting but took him out of the moment. He liked the generic names: Williams, Thompson, Davis, Miller, Green, and so on. It made it easier to imagine these were regular soldiers like him.
As he rose up the ranks he started searching for ones involving superior officers. A lot of them had the superior officer fucking his subordinate, which wasn't all that surprising. Those were pretty good. He eventually stumbled on one involving a captain and a watchman. The watchman was bored on his shift and lamenting to himself how unmotivated he felt. Shepard thought he knew where this was going when the captain strolled by.
“So you don't feel motivated to do your job, Private?”
“Sir! I didn't mean it like that, sir.”
“Soldier, I need you at your best. If you aren't motivated, it's my job as your captain to get you there.” He undid the private's belt, got down on his knees, and took the cock in his mouth.
Holy shit. Arousal immediately spiked. But Shepard wasn't imagining himself as the private-- he put himself as the captain, on his knees in front of his subordinate. He wanted more like that. They weren't as easy to find; being a superior officer put the character as an obvious top and dominant. But every now and then he found one where the subordinate was in those roles, and he ate them up. He tried to avoid ones where they brought up fraternization. The whole forbidden aspect could be played to spice up the scenario but Shepard liked it more when it was ignored.
Now here he was watching a commander getting drilled into his desk by his lieutenant. A perfect scratch to Shepard's itch. So far he hadn't dabbled into porn featuring biotics because then he'd really have to face how specific his tastes were getting. Even this scenario with a commander and a lieutenant was hitting way too close to the mark. But Shepard couldn't stop watching.
The lieutenant was very thorough in satisfying his commander. It was hot as fuck that the commander's legs and ass were bare but all the lieutenant had out was his cock. The commander said something about needing to be satisfied with all parts of his lieutenant before getting his mouth on that cock. And then the lieutenant was spreading him out on the bed fucking him again. There was probably never a more satisfied commander than that one by the time they were done.
Shepard felt pretty satisfied too, but not enough. He knew it was all acting but that blissful glow the commander had when it was all over looked so appealing. He hadn't gotten laid in a long time, and probably wouldn't when his fantasy was so unobtainable. Shepard really should go back to watching good old Private Jones and Smith. He sighed and tapped a few commands on the vid screen.
“Here for my performance review, sir.”

Hey! Just read your hot take on novel!wangxian and I absolutely agree. I'm gonna have to say here that I believe it boils down to the fetishization of homosexual men in a lot of the fandom culture that surrounds mlm shipping, as you said it's a space for a lot of women to experiment with their desires and whatnot, but I think therein lies the breaking points between reading novel!wangxian as a good, healthy relationship vs. reading it as a very flawed and toxic one. As an LGBT person, reading the way the author dealt with their relationship made me extremely uncomfortable, it just really feels like something that is written by someone who is more invested in using her queer characters for satisfying her and her reader's own pleasure than a well-built, strong relationship between two characters. Not to take away from the novel in some other aspects, I believe that novel!wwx is a much better, much more nuanced character than what he is in cql, but when it comes to wangxian, I think the intentions are very different for each of them. To each their own, I guess, but I do find it very troubling that some people in the fandom have a really hard time admitting that novel wangxian is not even remotely healthy.
Absolutely.
And can I just say how glad it makes me to see that not everyone is praising this book for it’s lgbt representation...
But I guess that’s also why I just occasionally feel the need to scream my frustrations into the void or try to make sense of the novel.
And why I try to be understanding and accepting of people’s opinion of the novel and not take it ‘personally’ (in the sense of sitting there thinking “holy shit this is how they view ME, this is what they think of ME” etc).
I was in fandoms back when they were really a place dominated by straight (homophobic) women and realism or lgbt representation wasn’t on anyone’s mind (and the occasional dude butting in to say that’s not how sex works or bottoming is experienced was ignored or told to get out). I experienced this change to fandoms being more of a lgbt space, of people becoming aware that media can shape your views of groups of people, of people becoming aware of their fetishizing of fictional gays vs. their prejudice against real life lgbt people etc.
And tbh MXTX just writes like one of those, she writes wangxian like everyone wrote their gay relationships around 2005 and earlier; clear power imbalance, clear roles and attributes that are divided into ‘manly’ and ‘feminine’, certain physical attributes (like the female self insert character aka the bottom being pretty and slight and weaker and shorter), men/the penetrating partner can’t really be raped so anything the woman/bottom tries isn’t really ‘bad’, the male love interest is forceful and self centered but ONLY because he’s so in love and since he’s emotionally stunted he has to express that through sex, men/tops NEED sex and it’s rude/mean to deny them that, the girl/bottom isn’t THAT horny or in charge of their own sexuality but wants to please their partner and what they really get out of it is the emotional aspect, decisions need to be made for them because the dude/top just knows better, the girl/bottom is childish and flirty and the guy/top suffers through it until he finally snaps and shows the girl/bottom who'sboss etc etc. (honestly homophobia and misogyny is so tightly knit in this kind of fiction, if it wasn’t so frustrating it would be very interesting).
Tbh I disagree with novel!wwx being more nuanced (despite a lot of ppl whose opinions I really respect also feeling this way), because I simply cannot seperate him from the wangxian relationship. All I see are tropes and stereotypes applied to make him ‘work’ in the context of the wangxian relationship instead of an actual personality...
To me, in CQL WWX is clearly the main character and you love his interactions with LWJ and want more of them and value them, wheras in the novel most of the time WWX plays second fiddle even when a scene should technically be about him and LWJ’s presence is incredibly suffocating, because he’s always being controlling or at the very least influencing WWX.
I also don’t feel like WWX has much of a character arc/growth. We’re essentially told he had one but the only thing that really actually changes is him hating himself a bit more and letting LWJ smash..., and I guess: he’s less independent than ever, he’s more isolated that ever...
I’ve called novel!wangxian a relationship between an abuser and his victim, because you can find evidence of that in the text. Not because I think the author wanted to portray an unhealthy gay relationship. Like you said, she was fetishizing and wrote for a similar crowd. But to me that ‘realization’ helped...I still don’t see how people can call it a masterpiece but I can at least understand hyping something you like up...
And like, badly written gay relationship or not; gay/straight,man/women, I see how people can find it hot. Exploring your sexuality through fictional characters isn’t necessarily a strictly straight girl phenomena. I probably have read fic that was exactly like this, I can’t judge anyone for it. But no one prints out the last PWP they read and goes, “this is ideal lgbt representation and nothing will ever be this good, the fact that it includes rape makes it so realistic” like????
(Is that part or an effect of the woke and purety culture? you can’t say ‘i like this book but it has flaws’ or ‘i’ve enjoyed this but it’s not up the feminism or lgbt acceptance that i preach/live’ so you have to pretend it’s flawless?)
And like, I do think novel!wangxian is a nightmare when it comes to lgbt representation and I do believe this is largely due to a cishet woman writing about gay men and fetishizing them (the fact that a lot of peoples arguments why novel!wangxian ‘is better’ boils down to ‘there’s kissing and sex’ is also pretty telling). And I am frightend and worried by some peoples response to it.
But is it really fair to see it as just that? It’s a problem sure, but that same thing happens in straight media (which I am admittedly not well versed in). Stephanie Meyer didn’t set out to write Edward Cullen to be a creep and non of the teenage girls that went crazy over him viewed it as such...Reylo fans (aside from some of them proclaiming Finn to be the real villain and saying it’s racist and misogynistic to not find Kylo Ren hot) found a way to view him threatening her as romantic and sexy, Loki fans that didn’t ship him with Thor usually fell into the camp of “he would be a perfect boyfriend” or “what if this OFC was his slave and he raped her everyday <3″... like ignoring/glorifying/romanticizing behaviours or exploring what kinks you might have through the safety of fictional characters and fictional settings isn’t JUST happening when it comes to ‘the gays’...
And not just specifically in fandom spaces either, a lot of ‘romantic’ movies include inappropriate touching, the boy/guy knowing better than the girl what she wants etc. And I absolutely do believe that that’s something that normalized these things for a lot of young girls and guys (I don’t want to get into this too much, I’ve really seen a change in the past few years, but before that it was pretty common for young boys to believe they need to keep pursuing and pressuring a girl that has said no, girls truly thought boys could die of blue balls, girls thought it was their duty as good girlfriends to let their boyfriends fuck them even when they weren’t in the mood, that they couldn’t talk about what they want in bed or what they don’t find enjoyable because ‘sex is for boys and girls get a relationship in exchange’ etc.).
And in much the same way movies have only relatively recently begun being called out for that, it’s also still pretty recently that they’re being called out for having their one queer coded character be a pedophile and a murder or whatever...Like, society as a whole becoming aware of these issues.
But do authors that publish their work with a specific target audience in mind have a responsibility to think about the effect it might have on them? (And I can already hear loud screams of ‘no way, it’s not your fault if your audience isn’t smart enough to understand that this bad thing is bad’, but I actually do believe in a way they do. That doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t write whatever you want, just maybe take a look at HOW you bring your point across. (We do KNOW people are influenced by what propaganda they’re consistantly fed. I mean, you wouldn’t write a pro-drugs childrens book...) )
What if the author isn’t aware of their bias and prejudices? Or their target audience isn’t their actual audience?
And do we, society and media, judge female and male authors differently when it comes to romance and sex in fiction? (The answer is yes btw) But also, where do we draw the line at calling something ‘badly written’ and calling it toxic? Can it be both? As I’ve said before, a lot of people claim that only the physical intimacy scenes of novel!wangxian are bad, because they’re badly written and OOC, some say the book as amazingly written and only the wangxian relationship is bad because the author doesn’t know how to write gay men. In my ‘hot take’ I essentially said that’s not necessarily bad writing so much as it’s simply an (okay, unintentional) toxic relationship. And would this relationship still come across as toxic (or badly written, whichever you want) if we didn’t know the author to be a cishet woman? Or if a gay man had written it? (my personal, eloquent answer for this is: yes, but differently.)
Which was really all just a rambly way to get to my point of: it’s not just fetishizing of gay men, it’s also the homophobia and self-inserting in a safe situation.
You can literally replace WWX in the novel with a female character and it wouldn’t change a thing. The author takes such an effort into building up this power imbalance in every aspect of their life that if WWX were a heroine nothing would change in this (sexist/ancient society) setting.
(And clearly this is something that appeals to people if you look at the amount of female!WWX fics...)
Not even the sex scenes. There are maybe two allusions in all of them combined that WWX might also have a dick but like, you can’t be sure and it sure as hell doesn’t need stimulation.
(and again, that could be written as a kink...but it’s just not.)
CQL is a gay love story. MDZS at it’s core is none of that.
But I also very much agree with your ‘to each their own’, like here I am criticizing and trying to find explanations and whatever, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter why someone might like (or write) a book like this, I vastly prefer CQL!wangxian but people have their own reasons for not doing so.
The ‘problem’ really only lies in, as you said, people not being able to accept that it’s not a healthy relationship. Or claiming it to be perfect lgbt rep.
And because my brain can’t shut up today:
I also can’t stop thinking that the way some people ‘glorify’ the book as due to their age and ‘inexperience’.
When I was a pretty young kid and got into fanfiction, there was nothing but completely OOC!whump to be found in the first two fandoms I was in. And I loved it. It was YEARS later that I thought I might like to read something with the characters being...in character. What I’m trying to say, in different stages and phases of your life you might enjoy different things, for different reasons...and obviously, in that moment, you won’t think about ‘what appeals to me here/should this appeal to me/etc’.
I don’t mean inexperience as ‘sexual inexperience’ here, though of course that could be part of it, but also like, inexperience with this genre (is this the first book like this you read, or did you just read 50 in a row that all had the same unhealthy vibes?), with lgbt people and issues (do you know any lgbt people or is your only image of them either the cute boy you can’t have and don’t want to see with another girl or grown men in full kink gear in front of children during CSD? and also: do you think ‘i like this’ and that’s the end of it or do you notice how many people idolize this objectively unhealthy relationship and won’t allow critique on it...)
I...just wanted to say thanks really.
I just can’t stop rambling apparently and I know I mostly just repeated what you said or what I already said but in longer... I just really do feel very strongly about novel!wangxian and the perception of them and have actually at times felt very personally...worried/affected, by people’s acceptance and love of them and I just... have to try and make sense of it...

⭐️!! for blue exorcist!!! gush as much as you want!!! i wanna know!!
EE THANK YOU!!! :D
Okay so I have so much fucking story for the blue exorcist self insert.. like sO MUCH, SO I WONT MAKE THIS TOO LONG, BUT IT'S PROBABLY GONNA BE LONG (• ▽ •;)
So, my self insert's name is Chikaru, he came to the cram school with his best friend, Kaori (@quite-close-for-comfort 's character UwU go ask her about her stuff as well it's very good) and somehow along the way he manages to fall in love with one of the eight demon Kings and he feels super shittY ABOUT IT DBJFKSJAKXK
Basically, Chikaru's whole thing is, he's been able to see demons from a young age, having been attacked by one in elementary school and thus, given the ability to see all supernatural. Everyone around him always thought he was crazy, which eventually led him to being placed in hospitals and mental homes for a few years since his family just didn't understand what he was seeing or going through. Since no one has believed him, he's gone through dark places in his life, leading to unhealthy coping mechanisms and self destructive habits that he still currently fights. However, in middle school he met someone who changed his life around for the better: Kaori :>
Kaori was the first person who actually took him seriously, and while she didn't believe that what he saw was actually demons, she never once doubted that what he felt and what he saw was fake and the two grew very close and became lifelines for one another. Kaori even agrees to attend the Exorcist school with him to be a support system for him, and when she finds out that these demons he's always saw are real, she decides to stay to exact revenge on the creatures that made her friend so miserable all his life. Chikaru goes to the cram school to face his fear and start actually trying to get rid of the demons that's plagued him for so long, and for a good while... That's exactly what he did. But then he met Amaimon and everything kind of... Well, plans started changing.
Amaimon causes some serious internal conflict with Chikaru. Chikaru has gone his whole life being fearful of demons, so much so that he can't even control the demons he can summon for awhile, but yet this stupid green broccoli man comes into his life and just changes everything. Given, he doesn't know Amaimon is a demon for awhile. To Chikaru, all that happened was this weird dude just showed up, talked to him for awhile, and then suddenly brought up how he can help him control his familiars, so he just... Let's Amaimon hang around. And they get super close during season 1 and actually start "dating" (I say that in quotes because Amaimon doesn't understand dating is just like "I just want to kiss you") but then the fucking camping episode happens and Amaimon does some shitty things and their relationship kind of crac k s, so Amaimon isn't around for awhile after that and Chikaru kind goes through a crisis :^))
But before their relationship cracks after the camping episode, they go through some genuine and cute development, with Amaimon not understanding his feelings or why he's feeling this way for Chikaru, and Chikaru being equally as confused but happy for some reason??
The relationship with Amaimon and Chikaru does cause a rift between Chikaru and Kaori though, since earlier in the story Kaori had been possessed by a demon and honestly,,, she thinks Chikaru is being a bit of hypocrite telling her to not trust demons when he's smooching on the demon king of Earth right now (even though later on Kaori literally goes off and gets into a relationship with Rin, the son of Satan but go off I guess dhfjjdjskakka)
So when Mephisto reveals to the two of them who Amaimon is, Kaori is understandably pissed, because Chikaru has had suspicions about Amaimon for awhile. He's shocked to learn that he's a demon king, but he's been suspecting that Amaimon was a demon for quite a bit... He just never told Kaori about those suspicions because he knew how upset she would be. But after Kaori cools off and the two talk it out, Kaori tells Chikaru that if Amaimon makes him this happy, then she can learn to get along with him and the two stay friends :))!! Chikaru still slightly feels bad for how he feels, but eventually gets over it through the help of Amaimon and Kaori... Until that God damn camping episode
But ignoring the camping episode... Before all that angsty shit happens, Chikaru basically shows Amaimon what love is and Amaimon gets super addicted to it and his whole, "I just want to play around and mess with the earth because I see it as a toy" thing vanishes and he starts seeing life from the perspective of a human. And Chikaru, someone who's been called insane and who's been unhappy for basically his whole life, who's only ever felt accepted and loved by his best friend, has found someone else who actually loves him and sees the real him. Amaimon doesn't see him as some crazy kid who's hallucinating ghosts, and he doesn't see him as some depressing asshole who refuses to see the joy in life, Amaimon sees him as actual sunshine and Chikaru actually starts to feel genuine happiness, smiling a real smile that only Amaimon has been able to see. The two feel lost without each other and they're both incredibly empty after the camping episode and the trial when they have to be separated •́ ‿ ,•̀
But uhh... Listen there's a lot of story to tell and it's hard to keep all my thoughts focused on one part if I'm not answering specific questions, and I'm not entirely sure how much sense this will make since I wrote it on my phone and it's also 3am... so I think that's all I'll spill for now. Maybe I'll eventually make a timeline of everything that happens in this story?? But until then, I'm 120% open to answering questions about it so if anyone is curious... Please 👁️👄👁️

did you see agentverbivore 's meta on why fraida is sexual assault? can you comment on it?
so like, i wasn’t going to answer this. i was off enjoying my life, i saw cars 3 which is great i cant believe doc hudson is gay and lightening mcqueen is secretly fitz and if y’all think im not gonna write a cars fraida au you’re wrong
and i come home to this
lovely anon
i was really just going to be like ??? this isnt worth my time and just go write fraida fic and dont worry guys if youre here for baby au or beach house verse or kinky framework smut well i got you covered later today
but before that, we need to talk
this is long, and doesnt cover most the important bits
first off, apologies to my one (1) mutual that is a huge holden radcliffe fan, you should probably look away for part of this meta. because im gonna put some of the blame on him
a few points from that awful meta i skimmed that was again not valid because it was written by a fs stan and these people by default cannot stand any other character looking at fs (like my girl oph may be evil, but like will daniels was not !? but man were the fs stans ready to call him abusive and sexual assualt back then so, again as proof opinions of those extra gross fs stans are not valid)
now if you are a mildly reasonable fs fan or just a normal person that ships other things, please do not let the crazies convince you of some total bullshit
hee’s some ground facts
my girl aida, now know as ophelia, is one of the main villains of the season. she’s evil af in the later half. im not here to deny that. she’s one of the seasons villains
you know who else are tho - holden radcliffe and leopold fitz
back in 4.01 my girl was created to be a digital assistant, programmed not to lie and not to kill and generally just like a good™ person. now that got fucked up and whose fault is that
well lets have some more facts:
holden gave her the programming that it was okay to kill if it was to fill an objective he set (this allowed her to kill him later and honestly that was his bad)
fitz taught her how to lie, and holden assured her that it was okay to do so
as mack, the only person with a logical fear of robots would tell us, this is a bad idea
and then we get the darkhold
man who, from the other side, convinced aida to read the book?
who then later enabled her to keep reading and gain all the knowledge and use it to help him create the framework and expand it and make it better
but oh man thats another good point who designed the framework?
holden radcliffe and leopold fitz
holden specifically was the one that wanted it to grow, that encouraged her to push the simulation, that had the plan to put may into it and give her a whole different life to keep her contained
holden was also the one to have them kidnap and replace the rest of the team
wait you mean? aida was just following orders? the whole time? oh yes, thats right guys. she was
until of course
the framework
now here’s where it gets messy because
the framework
in the framework, the darkhold has no hold on you anymore
which means, holden gets to experience regret and becomes not the villain anymore go him
though as mentioned before this, holden’s instructions were to fix regret so people would stay in the framework and not question the narrative or want to leave
which leaves us with
coulson not a shield agent
may saving the girl (both of which ive mentioned in previous metas is why hydra rose with no one to assemble the avengers and a fear of inhumans in the public it was easy)
fitz being raised with his father (who i personally hc as hydra in the real world too but thats just me)
mace being an inhuman
and mack having his daughter
now despite what poor sad jemma simmons, and the fs stan mouth piece that daisy got to be for a brief moment (i miss a well written daisy wow) will tell you,
not having a girl in your life does not suddenly make you a super villain
maybe its idk
the hydra father you were raised with
in a demonstrated emotionally abusive house that says not to show emotions and weakness (much like john garrett did to grant ward)
a world in which there was a fear of inhumans and a push for hydra to rise
a natural inclination for ambition
now, idk if its just me but
aida didnt make fitz evil
she followed holden orders to fix his regret,
if anything holden made him evil but really this anger and darkness has been inside of fitz all along and if you dont believe me rewatch season 2/3. watch that scene with ward when he cuts off the air, watch him with the gun and yelling at the space rock, watch him angrily pushing things onto the ground when frustrated
this kid has been two shakes from being a villain since season two
 now to the fraida bit
if you believe ophelia on the beach scene which i do, she’s human now, able to feel things, there’s no way this girl so new to emotions that she has a panic attack thinking about people being hurt, so new that she loses herself to heart break in what is honestly just bad writing but canon so i can use it as a point here
would lie without there being an obvious tell
she’s not lying.
she wanted to feel loved and human
so she took jemma’s place at the academy
now when did fitzsimmons first hook up? when did they first kiss? how long did that take?
aida, then calling herself ophelia, wanted to be jemma simmons and like i get that. you, the fs stans, should get that. i mean isnt that why you all write self insert fanfic while slapping the name jemma on the character and pretending its the same one we see in canon?
aidas just like you
maybe a little misguided, playing a fucked up sims game of the real world
in a sense they created an alternate universe
an earth 2
and now you’re here telling me a robot, who cannot canonically feel anything more than pain, was the one to initiate sex? no, that boy def initiated it.
the horrible example of the meta involves someone being roofed and forced into sex, but thats not what happened. she wouldnt have been the one to touch him first, wouldn’t have been the one to initiate anything because she wanted to experience love and humanity and none of that is part of it
now iain confirmed the friada sex happened, canon later told us that it happened in 4.21 and again reminded us that she could feel nothing, which important take away here
now if you say
there’s consent issues, probably dub-con ill agree
but the framework version of him, this alternate universe man very much wanted every part of that
and honestly could you blame him?
so now i am going to sit here and write my fic set in the framework verse as if it was a full earth 2 and enjoy living it up in my alternate universe sin verse
im going to write my lets ignore everything after she saves mack fix it fics because i can do whatever i want
its fandom
and theres like 4 of us shipping fraida
block the tag if you dont want to see it
dont come up in my inbox anymore and ask my opinions or for m to justify my ship ever again, im just going to start replying with the parks & rec gif of ron with her permit to do what he wants
ye be warned
