“What a curious turn of events. As much as any regular man would covet such power, I find it wholly unnecessary.” Even with such a dismissal, Horos seems unphased. There is a small gesture of his hands, a man preparing to tell a story. “There is nothing I would do with it, see. Nevertheless, you have taken a tool that belongs to me and I would like it back. It was a gift from an old friend decades ago, before they had to move from a certain old fishing town.” There is no joy in these words, as Horos seems unsatisfied with the way history dictated that event would unfold. “They designed the cards I currently used, and I am well aware that they are one of a kind.” You cannot ask the dead to repeat something they have done in life, after all.
“Regardless, its return would be appreciated. I have no use for adventurers trinkets, you see. They will find the oddity of these cards more appealing than I do.”
