satoshi is absolutely anomalous, though. there are games he shouldn't have won, but he did. there are deaths he shouldn't have come back from, but he did. there are super-hero/-villain confrontations he should have gotten caught up in the middle of, but he did not. there are places he shouldn't have been, universes he shouldn't have interfered with, which he wound up in anyway & in which he helped anyway.
