roger, with how he sparked exploration, and revolution against the world government, was deified. much like how nika was prayed to in hopes he would free those in slavery, roger is a deity to pray to so sailors shall remain safe on the ocean. he is a patron saint, much like saint nicholas to early modern sailors in history.
