Why I’m forever sleep deprived :

- Attempt to write a star wars fanfic.

- Has an idea for a planet that only acts as a setting and otherwise not at all important to the plot itself.

- Search top 10 weirdest exoplanet discovered by NASA for reference.

- Laugh at the fact that NASA has actually nicknamed a cold gas planet “Tatooine” just for orbiting binary stars.

- Search Wookiepedia for other binary star systems in Legends.

- Find out there is one called “Byss and Abyss System” and read that planets there may orbit in figure 8.

- Search if such orbit is even possible.

- Read multiple StackExchange replies on how its ‘theoretically possible’ but too unstable to support life or even stay on orbit for long.

- Mentally make an unfunny joke on how planets in Byss and Abyss System will be quickly thrown ‘into the Abyss’ and laugh at own joke.

- Wonder exactly how a planet with binary star system is supposed to work.

- Read three more Wikipedia articles, a cat video, and two tvTropes page.

- ...what was I supposed to be doing?

- Right. The fic.

- Realize that haven’t even picked an idea for the stupid fictional planet that doesn’t canonically exist in a fictional universe that doesn’t exist.

Okay I haven't read the article yet so this is a tentative opinion compiled after too much time thinking about this at night.(Also why is that last line about Cell so relatable)

Thing about anger is, it's like fire. If you're not careful it goes out of control and take a nose dive straight into self righteousness / knight templar where you become the very thing you were supposed to destroy. You need to have clear enough head to figure out what the real problem is and how to fix it, which Anakin failed. (I'd say the same for Yoda but then I realized Yoda's problem was fear)

That's what mindfulness is supposed to be. That's what Jedi "There is no emotion there is peace" was supposed to be. It might have meant that when it started but after thousand years of not questioning your elders & parroting everything that has never been challenged morphed the ideal into Someone feels strong emotion and

Now, who says anger can’t be used positively? Apparently, the right kind of outrage can be helpful in terms of moral psychology. So, I guess the Jedi were wrong in attempting to eliminate all forms of anger and letting themselves be guided solely by the Senate and empathy (something that they seem to also be lacking)? I guess, on the other hand, Anakin Skywalker is just experiencing too much moral outrage, huh? What do you guys think?

My brain at day : Uuugh I'm bored I need something to hyperfixate on but I don't like any of your options. Especially that thing we have to do. No, I don't wanna go out or study or do anything important.

My brain at night : Here's 37 different ideas for your 15 different WIPs, one of which you put on semi-permanent hiatus three years ago. Isn't it great? Let's work on this one-- no this one-- no that one--

Me, to a fictional character I'm trying to write: I'm so sorry, you're so much cleverer and wittier than this but I'm dumb as hell.

I’ve only been back in HP fandom for about a month and a half and already I have 50+ short fic ideas and one budding long fic idea.

SOMEBODY HELP

Sometimes I imagine that for every random thought I get there is an alternate reality where that actually happened. So there’s at least one parallel universe out there where I decided to chuck my phone out the bus window just to see if two-second-future me would be motivated enough to get off the next station and retrieve it.

Then there would be alternate realities where I did end up retrieving that phone and got back to life (with a broken phone), or one where I just. stayed on the bus. forever.
