I'm very grateful to have started off the new year with a lovely DM--especially as opposed to the abusive Anon I received on New Year's Day two years ago--from someone who recently found my blog and said that what I've written about certain subjects has made them feel less alone. I went through something similar when I joined the fandom nearly six years ago and it was such a relief to find people who saw the same things I did and weren't about to cancel, harass, or abuse someone for having an "unpopular" opinion. Things were pretty rough last year, so it means everything to know that I can now be a safe space for other folks in the fandom...
