#here's to hoping anime in the 2020s will stop being 80% garbage isekai/otaku pandering but winter lineup sure isn't getting my hopes up

last anime season of the decade is over & here’s thoughts

-hoshiai no sora definitely was anime of the season & im beyond mad the production got cut short !!!!!! we could have had it all ;_; it’s still a ridiculously good n fun watch & i love love the ending pls watch it, just know it’s sadly unfinished :( fingers crossed + ears open re: all news on that -beastars ended up being a close second for me bc i enjoyed the hell out of it & i love how far cgi anime has come & it was just so fun!!!! love the drama & main trio. somewhat tempted to check out the manga but we’re also getting s2 so !!! -fire force, man, im gonna miss it while it’s on break.. im just a sucker for shaft influenced animation and that’s def why i enjoyed it that much (hardcore ignoring the annoying fanservice scenes. tamaki deserves better) but the character designs are so good !!! benimaru!!! also rip to arrow lady but at least they gave me haumea. eyes emoji.. -no guns life idk!!! what to think abt it !!! bc it was only one half of the season which is good bc i deadass thought they just ended the story there for a sec. it’s not bad, it’s not overwhelmingly good, but it’s fun enough nd i hope part2 will get to some of that good tetsuro plot pls -vinland saga........... was not bad but i can’t be fucked to care abt anything that this show is doing (aside thorkell. thorkell is the only valid character in this show) i’d probably have dropped it if i hadn’t alrdy been that far in & last ep actually was pretty good. still don’t rlly care nd i’m just kinda glad it’s over

-fgo babylonia of which i continue to only selectively watch gilgamesh/enkidu scenes so that’s still good. don’t know the rest of the show and don’t want to -bnha s4 is a story for another time but man it’s an achievement when an adaptation somehow manages to make me not give a fuck abt my fav manga arc that i’ve been waiting to see animated since it started....... r i p
