#marvel's spider man 2#hot take#marvel's spider man#unpopular opinion#this is going to be another one of my infamous hot takes but I thought the spider-man trailer looked meh#everything felt off#the character rendering of kraven looked like a downgrade compared to the first game#textures all throughout this trailer either looked incredibly clunky or seemed to be missing (look at those boats...)#what happened to our character's movements? they're all stiff and glitchy – what is going on?#stiff -> look at peter's swinging motions#glitchy -> when Miles balances across the web#here's me hoping they manage to handle both kraven and venom as respectable villains and not have either fall short#here's me also hoping that Peter does not get sidelined due to his venom influence or worse becomes unbearable (more so than is intended)#ui looks horrendous – wish they had stayed with the old one#Love the first game dearly but I am worried for its sequel – trailer comes off as rushed unfinished and like they're desperately trying to#churn out an undercooked product that is still very much in the making#let's hope I am wrong and merely too cynical for my own good#mine
