Dinka cover their skin in cow dung ash to protect it from mosquito and tsetse, as they are mostly naked. They bleach their hair with cow urine. They are cattle herdsmen and each man rides a "personality ox" which represents him and his manhood

These are the same traits as the god Shiva — covered in dung ash, copper hair, naked save for a tiger pelt, and riding an ox

Early Indo-Aryans were also cattle herdsmen, perhaps they shared similar customs to the Dinka
