Prev. post was also brought on by me thinking Lael deserves to curbstomp SOMEONE, to go apeshit just ONCE, but I don't think she ever will. Oh absolutely she'll defend herself. Absolutely she's killed when the situation's called for it and will again. But, she is a not a creature of vengeance and rage. She'll never get lost in that particular sauce.

#OOC / HOLLY.#like she absolutely deserves to wreck Aumvor and Myr.kul for example #she deserves to know the role they played in the Crown and get them good for it #yeah she'd hunt Aumvor down if she did know and Myr.kul wouldn't exactly get off either but like #her primary motivation would be 'they are vile and dangerous and they will subject others to similar or worse fates if they aren't handled'#it would feel so good to get them back for what they've done #but that would always be secondary to a consideration for other people #which is why she wouldn't necessarily hunt Myr.kul the way she would hunt Aumvor #because Myr.kul is a god attacking him is a more complicated matter #yeah I believe she could start a war against him and his faithful #but that would be bloody and would launch the world into chaos for decades if not centuries #with so many unrelated casualties #and killing a god has consequences for the cosmic balance #there's a reason Ao still lets these chucklefucks run amuck #first off you can't even truly kill a god in this setting you can just make it damn near impossible for them to reconstitute #secondly he'd just get replaced. he was already killed and replaced with Cyric once #and that didn't exactly work out!!#even if she did wipe Myr.kul and all worship of him from the face of the universe #someone else would take his place and there's no way of predicting whether that someone new would be worse #the devil you know and all that
