Thursday just can't understand it.

This is the second time this has happened, where she's left a pie that she spent half the afternoon baking sitting on one of the Office window sills to cool off and come back later to find it missing.

Who keeps doing this?! If someone around here is that desperate all they have to do is ask, but noooooo, they want to just keep taking it. A quick peek out the window reveals that it hasn't gone SPLAT on the ground below, so she knows it hasn't fallen out the window - someone has definitely taken it... unless it did fall out the window and the wind caught it?

No, that's unlikely.

She's really beginning to suspect now that someone around the Office is doing it just to mess with her. She really doesn't want to get mad about this - it's just an apple pie. It's not like it's... well, it really is the end of the world outside of the Office, but that's not the point, her point is, it's not like it's an extraordinarily huge deal that she needs to lose her cool over it. She just wants to know where the pies keep getting off to.

Maybe they're running away.

In any case, the Office resident starts meandering around the hallways, looking about for clues as to where that pie could have gotten off to, and for who might have taken it. Interestingly she does find some crumbs leading into the Broom Closet of all the things.

Now that makes her laugh. This has to be a joke. Is Stanley messing with her?

Laughing, she grabs the doorknob to the Broom Closet, and pushes it open. "Okay, Pie Thief, come out with your hands up! You've been discov- Oh!"

...That isn't Stanley.

She has no idea who this is.

They must be a new visitor. Maybe they were starving and saw the pie sitting there and ran off with it. Suddenly she feels less frustrated about the stolen pie.

"Hello there! Didn't mean to interrupt, hahaha. How's it going? You liking it in here? This is actually a really popular room, this Broom Closet. I'll leave you to it, if you like. I was just, ah... you know, tidying up."
