Hi there Queenie, hope you're having a great weekend! Since it's another wonderful Six Sentence Sat(or)Sunday and Halloween is right around the corner, I was wondering if I could bother you for some spooky lauramax this time? Please and thank you! 😁

"The HOA's not gonna like this one," Max said from just behind her, nearly (but not quite) making her jump straight out of her skin and straight onto the driveway.

Ah, but Laura, resilient as she was, clung to the stepladder before she could fall, giving the banner one last adjustment before stepping down onto the relative safety of the concrete. "The HOA can H my A," she scoffed, ignoring the puzzled look he shot her, "I mean, it's our house, it's our trick-or-treat rules...if an angry parent wants to come be...angry, well that's on them!"

He thought it over for a second, then seemed to agree, giving a half-nod as he adjusted his Frankenstein bolts - the dang things just refused to stay stuck to his neck, probably thanks to all the body paint. "Hey, push comes to shove, I guess we could always say one of us has a deathly dog allergy or something."

"Yeah," Laura nodded, setting her hands on her hips as she stood beneath the very large, very obvious, and, with the bloody handprints they'd added at the very last minute, spooky 'NO WEREWOLVES ALLOWED' banner hanging on the garage, "yeah, that would probably work."
