I'm gonna try and tackle some drafts today but bc of some nonsense I saw I twitter say it with me folks: Zhongli is the man he is today because of the many friends he's made and the many losses that have eroded him over his life and he was not solely influenced by one dead dust chick.

#when the argument that she was the /only/ important person in his life comes up it just makes me want to see any content about her even less #because those people cannot seem to grasp that “those who share the memory” were MULTIPLE PEOPLE HE CARED ABOUT #and how he said himself in the azhdaha SQ that he believes having to give up that which he loves was the erosion given to him by the #heavenly priniples. again. this was in azhdaha's quest with no ties to the dust lady. I'm not saying this makes old man dragon yaoi canon #but like... it sure was a clear indicator of just how much his old friend's erosion pained him for him to begin to think he was cursed with #enduring loss #some people try to be like “you can enjoy something when the fandom is shit” but it's hard to enjoy a property or a character #when if you look for content you will find so much bullshit like this which completely overlooks the actual lore of your fave which in my #case is absolutely zl. he's my number 1 and always has been and i won't stand for the erasure of his other friends #not to mention how this group also tends to ignore the very significant relationship between gz and ping....#anyway i wasn't gonna tag rant but oop this topic gets me heated #|| ooc
