thinking about how neil said that joel wouldn't have avenged ellie if the tables were turned in tlou2 and how i disrespectfully disagree
#a cut tommy line said something about the fact that joel didn't go after the people responsible for sarah's death#which..... okay#he was in no place to avenge sarah?#he had no reason to resort to violence? he was a grieving father at the end of the world?#this was the inciting incident that inherently changes him?#since sarah died.....#he's hunted and murdered and survived#he's slaughtered an entire hospital's worth of fireflies just to ensure ellie stayed alive#if ellie would have been the one to die in tlou2#you can BET that he would have no choice but to deal with his anger by going after the people responsible#he's lost too much already#what does he have left to lose???#like i said..... i respectfully disagree#rant over lol#* out of character.
