I feel like ppl who try to come up with reasons why Labru doesn't work haven't read the comic where RYOKO KUI herself show that they make a great team.
Like it's literally canon, kabru and laios both know they work well together. They're aware of their strengths and weaknesses and that's why they rule Melini together now.
#labru#dungeon meshi#I know people will say stuff that doesn't make sense when it involves a ship they don't like#like I get it#I do it too sometimes#but if I have to hear one more time that laios doesn't care about humans I'll rip my hair out#he's even the one who asked kabru to stay by his side#it's not as one sided as ppl think

Helki compilation
Helki is a prisoner-turned-servant. He’s a criminal canary and was implicitly one of Milsiril’s charges, and now that she’s retired he’s become her servant.
He must have gotten into Milsiril’s good graces, wether through attachment or convenience, which is a feat considering Milsiril’s a socially anxious recluse. Interesting since it’s not like he seems like the agreeable type, shifty upbeat delinquent style… We really don’t know much about him, not even what crimes he did, so there’s a lot of space for speculation on all grounds.
Edit: Shanghai QnA with Kui gave us a new juicy morsel of info!
Interesting… The original answer in japanese is: パッタドルと同じような杖を使っていました。今も同じものを支給されているのですが、すぐになくすのでもはや携帯していないようです。 That it’s written in japanese seems to say that there isn’t the same double translation issue there was last QnA, so if someone wants to look at the original phrasing and word choices it can be done. Perhaps Helki-Milsiril has a more protégé dynamic undertone than previously thought… "For various reasons", meaning circumstances that made it so the squad had to choose between saving him and saving their own skin, or like, "man this guy’s personality sucks we don’t really like him"? Likely to be a mix of several things, since ‘for various reasons’ implies the situation was either complex or they had multiple reasonings. In either case, the phrasing is very much that Milsiril couldn’t abandon him herself, and so a relationship sprung out of that. Another instance of outcasts seeking out and sticking with other outcasts in Dungeon Meshi. This could mean that it’s a bit less out of personal attachment and more out of a sense of duty on Milsiril’s side as well though.
Still edit: So then maybe him staying with Rin in that comic isn’t that much because of work ethics or that he cares for kids (or maybe he does because he feels kinship to them, alone and mistreated), but because he didn’t want to join the other canaries in that room chatting and laughing… Maybe the isolation was exacerbated because he became Milsiril’s favorite, teacher’s pet style, but I’d also be careful about assuming the others disproportionately dislike him, it could be that they just don’t really care for him. Why? Could be because of his personality, because he’s seen as shifty or unreliable or annoying, if an event, who knows who knows, but I like to think because of the Rin comic that he generally just tends to be a loner, that he’s "weird" in a neurodivergent vibe, he doesn’t conform to proper social behavior which in elven society seems especially alienating. He’s the only one with Rin to think of her sake, not only worth observing/caring for but also asks her to eat, but he does this with an offputting stare, not really emoting, and then well, the infamous alone with her staring munching covered in blood panel. He stands out. I’m a fan of the theory that it was a "Helki? Not that I dislike the guy but I’m not risking my skin for him" situation… Ok end edit back to older observations.
He seemed to be acting out of his own initiative in the Rin comic, he doesn’t look thrilled to be there in many post-canary comics but he also seems content enough. He restrains Milsiril in the Mithrun cleaning comic which is interesting to think of for their relationship.
It’s fun to notice how he’s the only one that didn’t get bored of looking after Rin, and then reports back about her condition… I’d say he was getting used to taking care of kids which would come with the job of serving Milsiril, but then, not enough for him to clean the blood off himself hah. In this way it’s interesting to think about his relationship to the idea of parenthood, he’s probably the closest thing to a father figure/male role model Kabru had growing up, without mentioning the other kids. I feel like he’d consider himself an older brother, cousin or uncle figure sooo much sooner than a father, but even then I do think it’s just his job and he’s not really invested or forming real relationships with any of them much.
It’s curious to note that he’s dressed in canary uniform presumably after having been pardoned and living with Milsiril? Which you can tell by the armor bits (the yellow strips of spider silk). In the Kabru training montage and the Rin comic specifically. It seems very implausible for him to have still been a canary while being a retired Milsiril’s servant and being with her all the time, and the cleaning with Mithrun comic (where he’s not in uniform) happens after Utaya so it could happen after Kabru was taken in but around the time of the Rin comic. So why uniform? It could be one of the best outfits he has, so it’d make sense to wear it around especially if you’re sparring or getting… Blood on you? Could just be because that's how Milsiril wants him to dress. But yeah we don't know when exactly Helki becoming Milsiril’s servant happened. We do see Mithrun’s charge Cithis be tasked with taking care of him, so a charge being given a servant-caretaker role doesn’t seem all that out of the ordinary, sometimes even prior to retiring.
Imo, if he doesn't work for Milsiril he goes back to jail/the canaries/has to try and get a job instead of just tending to her, so Helki is staying with Milsiril because she's the best option for him. He’s her milsiril's personal servant and does mostly dull tasks involved in that. He’s not particularly suited to the role but they’ve gotten used to each other to him so she took him with her, and he does prefer it to canary work so it works out decent for him. I think he’s used to reading her and managing her moods and he’s one of the rare social connection she has.
Under spoiler is stage 2 interpretation stuff, bigger speculation, in a reblog I’ll make soon I’ll go over my thoughts for stage 3 interpretation lol. Helsiril I’m coming for you

Mirthrun x gardener reader
(if people like this I'll create a small fic)
Part 2 (Beach Day)
Yeah here me out. This is after the events of the Manga where Laios becomes king. Mirthrun and the Canaries stay on the island to avoid the law and all that...
Mirthrun gets lost, like a lot. No matter how many Canaries are supervising him he manages to allude them. His teleporting doesn't help either. It's not like he wants to be alone. He just gets caught up in the little finds, like a bug or some rabbit moving by and follows after them. See he's being trying/ training himself to reclaim his desires/wants back and Kabru mentioned to try to focus on a specific things to get a better understanding of his emotions onto it.
Anyway, one day he stumbles on a green house and sees a tall man there. Your minding your own business, picking the herbs from your garden, utterly unaware of the elf who just transported behind you. The first encounter was .... unpleasant. With a fright, you slapped Mithrun and cussed him out of your green house. He just trots along. You were confused at the whole ordeal, especially how the man didn't really react to you at all.
He shows up again, a couple of days later. And again you kick him out. Its almost became comedic.
He keeps on showing up to the point you don't care anymore. He doesn't do anything but bask in the green house sun, utterly in his own world, speaking no words to you.
You do ask why he shows up. His only response was a lifeless stare in deep pool his single eye casts, followed by a shrug. Not the response you want but nevertheless you keep allowing him to stay.
You notice that after a while he watches you tender the plants. You mostly strike a one-way conversation about your passion with your medical herbs but at times he does ask questions.
The first time you heard his voice you had to double take. You thought he was mute. He just cocks his head to the side , confused at you surprised acts.
Some time later you become more accustomed to his blandness and directness, able to read his emotions with subtle things like the flicker of his cut ears to the twingers of his eye. This though came with time and after finding out that he doesn't really take care of himself.
That one time you saw him passed out from dehydration wasn't a fun memory. And not wanting to relive it, you offer him tea and sweet pastries when he arrives. You found he particularly likes sour things, so lemon tarts are frequently on the menu.
He does help out with tending to your plots, though he isn't much of a green thumb, picking the ripe fruits off your small orchid helped you tones. You even gave him a basket of lemons to take home one time. It was a sight to see when he smiled at it, even though it turned quickly back to his emotionless form.
The Canaries still didn't know where he was going most of the day until he arrived back with that basket of lemons. Fleki ask where he got them from but Mithrun refuses to answer. They reach for one, but Mithrun grabbed their hand tightly. Anger distorts his face making the other Canaries surprised by his quick change in demeanor.
"Their mine", was all Mithrun said before he stormed into his room.
Eventually they were able to make out where he was heading all the time , though there was some misunderstanding. See they thought you were using him as free labor and quite abruptly came to you about the situation. Drama pursues, Mithrun gets upsets and snaps at his companions.
It just turns out the reason why he never told them where he was, was that he wanted you all to himself. He didn't want to share you with anybody.
Ah and that's it

Kabumisu Drabble/Shortfic
Kabru frowned down at the text in front of him. He glanced between it and the circle he’d made in the floor to check he’d inscribed all the symbols correctly. Satisfied, he nodded to himself. Now to say the words.
Kabru and Marcille had gotten along decently well during their time together with Laios’s new appointment of king. In fact, “decently” might be an understatement. They were cautious at first, but she had quickly become the first person he ran to when visitors came to Laios with ridiculous requests and Laios jumped to even more ridiculous solutions without consulting his advisor. Kabru needed to complain and she was a very sympathetic ear.
It was only Marcille who could convince Kabru to take up magic in his free time. He’d learned a few convenient spells from her and she eventually gave him the book he now held in his hand. He was trying to cast the spell he’d seen during their days in the dungeon, one that heated the floor so that Senshi could cook food.
As Kabru mouthed the words, practicing the pronunciation, his roommate and the reason for this particular spell walked in. Mithrun, after citing a new desire to return to the island, was also a constant companion in Kabru’s life. He’d been developing some desires again, and chasing any whims that came with them–hence his stay on the island. Still, it wasn’t as if the lost desires were coming back anytime soon, so Kabru was dedicated to ensuring his friend was properly taken care of.
Hence the spell for convenience cooking. It was a tempting alternative to late-night treks to the kitchen when lack of desire for food combined with Kabru's busy schedule meant they both hadn't eaten all day.
Mithrun smiled and nodded as he made his way to his room, and Kabru waved in response. Clearing his throat, he sat up straighter to recite the spell.
“Destruere,” Kabru began, “igne pavi–wha-mph!”
Kabru, missing the thud of Mithrun’s footsteps back into the living quarters, was very suddenly interrupted by his roommate’s whole body thrown into his arms and–immediately after–his lips covering Kabru’s. In that moment, Kabru will admit that all logic, training, and thought left his mind. Mithrun’s lips were surprisingly soft, his frame light enough that even fully covering Kabru felt like a comfortable weight in his lap, and Kabru forgot any reason to not close his eyes and kiss back.
Except Mithrun pulled back before he could.
“That spell would have caused an explosion large enough to kill you,” he said, pulling himself from Kabru’s arms with a speed that almost hurt. Almost.
Because Kabru realized it hadn’t been Mithrun’s sudden feelings for his roommate bubbling over into spontaneous action. Just as Kabru had done many times, Mithrun had simply known that the only way to quickly stop a magic user from casting a spell was to make their mouth stop moving entirely. It hadn’t been personal when Mithrun moved away because none of it had been personal.
Kabru felt his face go hot and tried to hide it by looking back down at the spellbook. The top of the page read: “Small fire spell.” Curse Marcille and her love of explosive magic.
“Oh!” Kabru said, still looking down at the book and scratching the back of his neck. “I must have picked the wrong spell.”
“What were you trying to cast?” Mithrun asked, suddenly dropping next to Kabru’s side and peeking over his shoulder at the book.
“Um, Macille often used a spell that would heat the floor so that Senshi could cook with it,” Kabru explained, face now red from embarrassment at the explanation. “I thought it was this one.”
Mithrun hummed and leaned in to read the words on the page. “It is a similar spell, but the words you want are here.” He pointed to a spot further down the page. Marcille had marked it with abbreviated words in common that Kabru hadn’t recognized as anything but gibberish. “It modifies it so that you get the heat and none of the explosion.”
“That…makes sense,” Kabru said with a chuckle. “Thanks, Mithrun.”
“Of course,” the elf said, and Kabru looked up in time to see one of his small, rare smiles. It did nothing for the redness on Kabru’s face. “Would you like help casting this time?”
“Sure,” Kabru said, returning the smile. He placed his hands back on the floor. This time, Mithrun said the words, and Kabru repeated them. The symbols on the floor glowed and when Kabru lifted his hands, he felt warmth radiating from the circle. No explosions seemed imminent.
“It worked!” Kabru exclaimed, clapping Mithrun on the shoulder.
Mithrun smiled again and leaned towards the circle. “I didn’t realize how cold I was until now.”
Kabru whipped his head around. “I told you to wear warm clothing today.”
“I did, but it got too warm in the castle and forgot to put my coat back on.”
Kabru used his hand still on the elf's shoulder to shake him a little. “How many times do I have to tell you to put on proper clothing for the weather!”
“I’m sorry,” Mithrun said, looking away. “I know how frustrating it is taking care of me.”
“What? No, I–” Kabru sighed. “I'm not mad, I just worry. I know you’re a big bad Canary–Former Canary” Kabru corrected when Mithrun opened his mouth to interrupt, “but I still don't want you to get hurt.”
Mithrun nodded. Kabru saw him thinking about what to say next, so he waited it out. He nearly choked when Mithrun suddenly announced, “I have a desire to kiss you.”
“I–what?”
“It felt…nice, and I want to do it again,” Mithrun explained, the clinical nature of his tone sending Kabru reeling.
Because this was Mithrun. Intimidating in battle, utterly helpless at everyday life, and utterly endearing because of it. Kabru would be lying if he said he didn’t think about kissing Mithrun often. But he’d long resigned himself to shoving those thoughts to the back of his head. While he adored the elf in a way he hadn’t felt for many people, he knew the chances of Mithrun returning that affection were less than nil.
“I thought you’d lost the desire for kissing a long time ago,” Kabru said. The elf had a wife before his desires were taken away, and therefore any new romantic desires were unable to return. Right? Surely–surely–Mithrun had kissed his wife. So how could he have this new desire for kissing?
Mithrun shook his head. “I don’t have a desire for kissing, I have a desire to kiss you.”
And fuck if that wasn’t the worst thing for Kabru to hear in that moment. It made him think dangerous thoughts–thoughts that inspired hope that he’d extinguished months ago. And it made him do stupid things.
Stupid things like reaching up to tuck Mithrun's hair behind his ear and saying, “Then I suppose you should kiss me.”
Mithrun’s expression was unreadable–a first in a while for Kabru–but he leaned in until their lips barely brushed against each other. Kabru bridged the rest of the gap, pressing forward in a chaste but firm kiss. He didn’t want to push too far, but he wanted to make sure it was enjoyable. For Mithrun, he told himself, because Mithrun’s desires should be enjoyed.
That thought got shoved to the side immediately when Mithrun made a small noise of delight at the contact. He kissed back, deepening it and putting his hands on Kabru’s chest to steady himself. Kabru felt his logic fly out the window for the second time that evening. He slid his hand further back to cradle Mithrun's head, running his fingers through the silken strands of hair he’d felt many times but never like this. He used his new grip as an anchor as he pressed forward impossibly more, sliding his tongue along the elf’s bottom lip. The delighted noise came again and Kabru had never cursed a need to breathe more. He reluctantly pulled away–enough to gauge Mithrun’s reaction.
“Was that alright?” he whispered, surprised by how utterly wrecked his voice sounded.
Mithrun opened his mouth to respond, but was interrupted by the sound of voices outside their front door. Both men stood as, without knocking, Laios burst in, his eyes practically sparkling with excitement.
“Kabru! Marcille told me she was teaching you magic, so we can be magic practice buddies!”
Laios’s excitement was occasionally adorable, but never in his entire life–not even in their first meeting–had Kabru ever wanted to kill him more.

Us Forever
Well, looks like the results said that I should write a Part 2 to My King! So here you all go!
MINORS DNI
Rating: Explicit
Paring: Labru
Word count: 2259
A/N: Kabru is trans in this fic!
You can find it on ao3 or read down below!
Ever since their kiss, things had been different between the king and his adviser. Laios was constantly consumed in thoughts about it, thinking about the way Kabru had tasted on his lips. Everything about it had been wonderful, and he kept wondering when the next kiss would be. But annoyingly enough, Kabru didn’t seem to be on the same wave length as he was.
Laios wasn’t sure if he was just bad at flirting, or if Kabru was intentionally brushing him off, but he intended to find out. Somehow he would get a second round in, even though Kabru was practically running away from him every time they met up. The next time he’d be alone with Kabru would be after their meeting with Yaad. Laios groaned internally. It would be another meeting about marriage, he was sure of it. What would he even say? That he didn’t want to get married because he wouldn’t be able to kiss Kabru again if he did?
That was his new reasoning anyway. Kabru had been so passionate, so wonderful. But if Laios got married, they wouldn’t be able to do that again. He would never do that to his wife, and Kabru would most certainly not approve of such a thing. So marriage was off the table.
Unless…
Could he marry Kabru?
That was certainly a thought. But would Yaad approve? Yaad had wanted someone who could bear him heirs. Would Kabru want do that? Laios knew a thing or two about Kabru’s personal life, but he had never asked if bearing a child was something that his dearest friend would actually be comfortable doing. And he would never force him into doing something he didn’t want.
Laios was lost in thought as he walked into the meeting room, sitting down at the head of the table. He barely even registered when Yaad, Marcille, and Kabru walked in. Marcille had to say his name twice before he looked up.
“Oh, hey there,” Laios said, and Marcille sighed.
“You should really pay more attention to your surroundings. What’s got you so deep in thought?” she asked.
“Oh uh, nothing,” Laios said. But even as he said this, his eyes betrayed him and flickered over to Kabru over on the other side of the room, chatting merrily with Yaad.
“Well ‘nothing’ is a little too busy talking to see you staring, but I’d suggest you’d pop your eyes back in. Yaad’s going to talk to you about a Queen again,” Marcille said.
“I know…” Laios grumbled.
Kabru walked over, sending a smile Laios’ way. His stomach fluttered, feeling warm inside at the pleasant look on the other man’s face. Yaad settled down in a chair as well, and Laios shifted uncomfortably. Now that Yaad was sitting down, he knew that he was about to get lectured.
“Laios, we all here to tell you that the time has come for you to find a bride,” Yaad said. “I know you have expressed that you don’t want to marry, but this time I must put my foot down. I have gathered the names of several eligible women from across the continents for you to choose from.”
“Wait hold on!” Laios said, looking horrified. “You’re going to make me marry someone I don’t know? Someone who doesn’t know me? I can’t do that!”
“That’s how it was done in my time,” Yaad said. “Arranged marriages aren’t inherently bad.”
“Yeah, well, I don’t want that!” Laios said, frustrated. “I already had one of those once, I don’t want that again!”
“Laios. We need to get this moving, you can’t stay single forever. The kingdom cannot handle this.”
“But…!”
“But nothing,” Yaad said, pulling out some papers. “I have here several pictures of the women along with a few paragraphs about each one. We’ll whittle it down from here to the best one.”
Laios could feel panic rising in his chest. Yaad was so prepared, and Laios was so…not! What could he do? What should he say?
“I already know who I want to marry!” Laios burst out. The whole room went silent, all eyes on him.
“And who is that?” Yaad asked, looking thrown. “I didn’t know there was anyone you were interested in. Laios, you should’ve told me so we could begin the courting process!”
“It’s because…I want to…” Laios looked over at Kabru, who looked calm and relaxed. He wished he could feel that calm and relaxed.
“Yes?” Yaad encouraged.
“I want to marry Kabru!”
Marcille slapped a hand to her forehead, and Kabru tilted his head up towards the ceiling, eyes closed. Yaad simply looked confused.
“Are you joking?” Yaad asked. “You need a Queen. You need to bear children.”
“Yeah but--”
“It’s nice that you are so close with your friend, but you need someone who can give you an heir,” Yaad said, “And he cannot.”
“Says you,” Kabru said, and Laios’ looked over at him, shocked. Marcille even looked a bit surprised.
“Excuse me?” Yaad asked Kabru.
“I can bear children,” Kabru said. “I have the anatomy for it.”
Yaad looked even more confused than before, but Marcille looked thoughtful. Laios looked over at Kabru, and was saddened to see that his friend was not looking at him at all.
“Well then,” Marcille said thoughtfully, “I think that could work, as long as Kabru agrees.”
“I think the King and I will need to have discussion about this before we decide,” Kabru said, giving her a tight lipped smile. She nodded, as did Yaad who still looked lost. “For now, I think the meeting should be concluded. You both will be informed with the results of our discussion. Laios, follow me.”
Laios got up, feeling nervous. Kabru didn’t seem happy or excited. If anything, he seemed annoyed. They made their way to Kabru’s study, and Kabru ushered him in. Laios gulped, feeling like he’d just been called into the principal’s office to get his knuckles whacked with a ruler. When the door closed, Kabru whipped around, fire in his eyes.
“Why did you say that?” Kabru hissed, and Laios gulped.
“Say what?” he asked innocently.
“You said that you wanted to marry me! Why would you say that? You never consulted me on the matter!”
“You haven’t really been alone with me much,” Laios pointed out. “So I haven’t been able to consult you about anything at all.”
Kabru looked guilty at these words, and Laios pressed on.
“I only really had the idea to marry you today. I think it’s a good one! I like you a lot Kabru.”
Kabru looked away, a slight flush to his cheeks. “I like you a lot too,” he said carefully. “But I am your adviser. I have a role in this kingdom that is very important.”
“Can’t you be both?” Laios asked. “I don’t see why not. You can be adviser and my…uh…other king?”
“Kings consort,” Kabru corrected. “I just don’t know Laios…”
Laios walked over to Kabru and put his large hands on the other man’s waist. “Well I guess I’ll have to convince you.”
“Laios…” Kabru groaned, “You’re really going to try and use sex as your tool?”
Laios paused. “I mean I was just gonna kiss you a bunch,” he said, “But I mean if that’s where your mind went I don’t see why not.”
“Oh shut up,” Kabru said, and let out a small whine as Laios bent down and kissed right under Kabru’s ear.
“You like that?” Laios asked, and began peppering the side of Kabru’s neck with kisses. Kabru let out little moans and whines, spurring Laios on. Soon their lips met, and it was like a spark hitting a match, the fire within them bursting forth. Their kisses didn’t start off soft and gentle, no. It was instant passion, Laios working Kabru’s mouth open with his own. Laios let out a load groan as their tongues touched, and Kabru suddenly pushed him away.
“What’s wrong?” Laios asked.
“Not in the study,” Kabru panted. “No lock.”
Laios nodded, and the two of them practically raced each other to Laios’ bedroom. When the door locked shut behind them, Laios scooped Kabru up bridal style, getting a squeak as a response.
“You’re…really strong,” Kabru said, and Laios looked at him.
“Well yeah,” he said. “Are you really surprised I can pick you up? You’re like a feather. Even Marcille could hold you.”
“No she couldn’t!” Kabru protested as Laios carried him to the bed. “I’m not that li--”
Kabru’s sentence was cut of by a shout of surprise as Laios tossed him onto the mattress. He looked in wonder as Laios crawled on top of him, lower lip caught between his teeth. Laios gulped. He really had no idea what he was doing, and knew he would need to ask at some point.
“So are we…are we gonna…? Or just kiss?” Laios asked. Kabru let out a tinkling laugh and smiled up at him.
“Are you nervous?” he asked. Laios nodded, cheeks turning pink. He wished he wasn’t nervous, he wished he could just do this without over thinking the whole thing.
“A little bit,” Laios said.
“I’ll lead you through it,” Kabru said softly. “It’s okay. You might cum fast, though, but don’t worry. When you have a dick, that can happen your first time. I’m not going to judge you.”
“Okay,” Laios said, and gently kissed Kabru again. Slowly they began removing each other’s clothes, and Laios was particularly curious about Kabru’s chest.
“What are these tattoos?” He asked. There were what looked like magical sigils underneath Kabru’s pecs.
“Oh, these got rid of my breasts,” Kabru said, looking down at them.
“Do you have tattoos down there too?” Laios asked curiously. Kabru shook his head.
“No, I prefer temporary magic down there. Stuff that can be reversed if I feel like it.”
Laios nodded, and took his own shirt off.
“Wow,” Kabru said, running his hands over Laios’ chest.
“Like what you see?” Laios teased, and Kabru nodded.
“Love it,” he said in awe. “Love how big and strong you are.”
Their lips met again, and pants were quickly pulled off and tossed to the side as they kissed and rolled their hips against each other. Laois could feel the blood rushing to his cock, desire filling him as he pressed against Kabru’s clothed heat.
Kabru took his underwear off and gently guided Laios hand down, showing him where to touch. Laios got the picture pretty quickly, alternating between rubbing circles against Kabru’s clit and fucking his fingers in and out of him, preparing him for what was coming next. It wasn’t long before Kabru was clenching the sheets, barely able to form coherent sentences. Laios went to reposition himself, and was in awe at the state he had left Kabru in. The man beneath him was a sweaty, panting mess, eyes slightly glazed over.
When Laios decided to remove his fingers to get into a better position, he realized he needed to clean his hand. But instead of just wiping it off on the bedsheets, Laios’ first instinct was to suck his fingers clean.
“Holy shit Laios…” Kabru breathed. “That was hot.”
“You taste nice,” Laios said, and Kabru gave him a sultry look.
“Want to taste more?” he asked, spreading his legs open. Laios blinked, and got in between Kabru’s legs. He wasn’t entirely sure what to do, but Kabru had said to taste…Laios began to lap at him, dipping his tongue inside Kabru, and returning to Kabru’s most sensitive spot, licking and sucking at it with passion. Soon Kabru’s back was arched as he cried out in pure pleasure, thighs squeezing Laios’ head.
“Was that good?” Laios asked, wiping his face. Kabru stared at the ceiling, nodding slowly.
“Yeah,” he said with a dopey grin. “Fuck yeah.”
“So um. Now what? Do I just…stick it in?”
“Basically,” Kabru said. “Come here.”
After a bit of shifting around, Laios was once more over Kabru, their fingers tangled together as Laios gently eased himself inside. Laios couldn’t help it, he moaned loudly and tried his best not to just slam in as hard as he could. It felt so good and he wanted more. He needed more, he felt this new desire with his entire being. It didn’t take long before he was fully seated, and then began to move.
“Oh god, Kabru you feel amazing!” Laios praised, thrusting hard and deep, Kabru making soft sounds beneath him. Kabru had been right though, Laios was fast. His eyes rolled back and he cried out Kabru’s name, fireworks exploding behind his eyelids.
“That’s right baby, you did so good,” Kabru praised as Laios thrust a few more times. “So good.”
Laios pulled out and rolled over onto his back. “Wow,” he said, and turned his head to look at Kabru. “That was…damn.”
“Who knows, you might have made yourself an heir,” Kabru said with a smirk. “You didn’t pull out after all.”
“Oh! I’m sorry!” Laios said, “I wasn’t even thinking.”
“It’s okay,” Kabru said. He snuggled closer to Laios, and they cuddled close. They would need to get cleaned up later, but for now, resting was the right choice.
“My answer is yes,” Kabru finally said. “Even though you didn’t ask.”
“Ask what?” Laios asked, confused.
“To marry you,” Kabru said. “You never actually asked. But yes. I’ll marry you.”
“Really?” Laios said excitedly.
“Yeah,” Kabru said, and gave Laios a small kiss. “It’ll be us forever.”

EP 9: “I'll Be a Fucking Pawn For Y'all If It Saves My Ass" - Carson
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK WHEN WILL THINGS ACTUALLY GO MY WAY? NEVER. :/
This sucks so much, y'all are awesome for getting Kait to her SECOND win.
youtube
That could've been cleaner. Yikes.
This vote obviously put me in something of a weird position. I was never going to vote Kait because of our alliance. And yes, I firmly believe she'd side with me over the alleged Malay-cult. She and I have been closer than a lot of allies I've had in these games so far. We're in lockstep, we're keeping each other sane, and we're not even talking exclusively strategy. The best alliances are formed by people who like each other's outlooks and attitudes, right? That's me and Kait right now.
I was also never going to vote Jack or Lydia because of our awesome Thotse quad with Wes. And I was not likely to vote Steffen unless there was a critical mass going his way. That left us with Ruthie (immune,) Carson and Jakey (on Kabru with me.) So, shit.
Anyway, I told MJ I might try to protect Jake if I could because they both want to work together. But the momentum started swinging his way, and it became even more locked in when he started targeting Kait. His best play would've been to target Steffen or Carson, and even then I'm not sure he could've rallied the votes.
Not wanting to be totally screwed on Kabru after a blindside, I didn't really engage with Jake too much. He came to me asking me to vote with him, almost as a last resort I feel? We hadn't talked since the swap, and he only came to me at 6:30, even though I know for a fact he was talking with others throughout the day. He told me he had Ruthie, Jack and Steffen locked in. I knew the latter two just weren't true. So rather than give him false hope, I checked with the latter two that their votes hadn't changed, then told Jake the votes weren't as locked in as he thought.
And he, somewhat predictably, lost his shit. He didn't want to accept that, telling me that if I voted for him, he'd stay... that my vote was the difference maker... that I was too far up Kait's ass to see it... that I needed to grow a fucking backbone... that I'm pathetic.... that I'm terrible at the game...
Yeah, I've played enough games by now to know nothing good comes from engaging in someone who's resorting to personal shots. So I disengaged. And I think Jake may have forgotten there's a second game going on, in his blind rage? As a multiple-time pre-juror, I know for a fact that it's so not worth getting upset over. Shit happens, the game doesn't break your way. But attacking people over it accomplishes exactly nothing. From what I hear, it sounds like I got off easy too. Apparently he ripped hard into Carson, Kait, Lydia and Jack too.
I don't like when people are sore losers. I don't like when people go for personal shots in a game that's meant to be fun. But I especially don't like when people do both of the above to my friends. Fuck that noise. Any chance of me wanting to work with Jake on Kabru went out the window with that, and I'm sure he feels likewise based on that vote. If it makes sense, I might vote with him as a matter of necessity, but he's not long for this game if I have my say. Bye Felicia.
Normally I would've been more upset about the vote being delayed a few hours, but between the extenuating circumstances out of the hosts' control and the fact that Jake still would've been in the One World chat anyway, nothing noticeably changed. So, fuck it, what's two hours of waiting?
Anyway I like slither.io. It's not my best game, but I enjoy it. Can't wait to put up a high score and show Jake that he's not God's gift to competitions. "Oh mind you I’m the best competitor on this tribe. Not tooting my own horn, just looking back at past performances."??? Like, fuck you? One unnecessarily long endurance run in an early comp doesn't mean we should all just bow down to your *~clear challenge superiority~*. Different people are skilled at different things.
I'm so glad nobody responded to his diatribe in the OW chat. The last thing he needed was to be enabled. His perspective is just that – HIS perspective. It's clear he doesn't really have a grasp of how this game is playing out, or else he might not have been the one to go last night.
Gage is super duper cute! But he never responds to my messages, so I am super duper not happy about that! Like, Gage, please. C'mon, Gage. Get it together. C'mon. I sent him what I did in the adventure, and you know the response I got? It was a riveting, rambling silence. Like...? What!? Didn't Gage WIN once or something?? How did he manage that??? Did he sleepwalk there, or were the other people in the final tribal council just that bad? I am completely befuddled.
Oh MJ really just threw me under the bus eh? I can't believe I got the full Olympics experience in one night. Choke.
Oh not me getting one of the highest scores on both my tribes for a flash game!? What a foreign concept.
safe in both games, so i have time to work on RELATIONSHIPS and read my book on how to win survivor so i can win this!!!!
please help
mj and pat treating me like pawns for the adventure! love it.
ill be a fucking pawn for yall if it saves my ass but an idol or something WOULD be nice.
In other news, Jimmy is the bee's knees. Yes, he is! He is so very cool! Yes, he's hip!
me and kait on call
youtube
i think theres an imbalance of trust between mj and i.
i trust him wholeheartedly as hes my only close ally, but he sees me as expendable from what i get from our conversations. he barely responds and i obviously seem to be of lesser priority? but idk maybe im just paranoid, but im holding on for dear life
me pressuring mj into sending his screenshots of his latest chats and seeing almost all of them are about the game! how iconic.
LISTEN I REALLY WANNA KILL THE OA TONIGHT. LIKE I WANT OWEN TO LEAVE. i'm just in this STUPID FUCKENING SPOT in the middle of jenn and jimmy and LOGI-WAN????????? IS LEAKING SHIT TO JENN THAT I WANT JENN OUT ??? OR SOME SHIT LIKE WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING AT SDGJSDKLSD; GOD.
i have more to say but i will wait for after class but i'm still like i legit don't know what i wanna do
i'm gonna need a pair of cargo shorts for all the people logi-wan thinks i have in my pockets!!!
Sorry that I've been kinda AWOL but it's because I've been feeling pretty shitty about my position in the game as a whole. I'm very lucky to have Matt in the game who is always willing to have strategic conversations that I know will provide me with a secure outlet that's not going to make my position even worse. I told him I planned on making a fake idol but idk if I'll go ahead with exposing that I have an "idol" to my tribe due to current changes in circumstances that I'll talk about later. Jakey's exposing of the tight Malaysian core alliance has made them change their tune which I'm really happy about because I'm sure I'm the target tonight (thanks Owen, you suck), but thankfully Jimmy exists and wants to work with me to pull off some move because the Malaysian's are going whack and he is thankful I saved him all that time ago back in Easter Island? I- I didn't do that much except kill my own game but thank you for willing to switch shit up!
It looks like their might be a chance I will stay tonight, however there are several different stories being played out on this tribe. Logan told me flat out it's me. However Jimmy told me Logan approached him and Jenn to vote out Gage? I don't get why when clearly Gage showed him loyalty? I'm not complaining cuz it means the vote would not be on me. But I think it's gonna be on me since Jenn reassured that it probably was. So it would come down to MJ voting with Jenn/Jimmy over Owen/Logan. Alternatively I could be a total bitch and expose a plan if I'm totally unsure what to do, or 10 minutes before tribal I could post my fake messages and idol that I found to hopefully send them into a panic and switch their votes off me and onto someone not me. It's a tough position to be in cuz I don't want to reveal I've an idol and for it to backfire somehow, but also how it may look untrustworthy to my alliance if I "had" an idol and didnt "play" it. So hmm. I'm concerned because Gage seems to be going after Logan now but is trying to get Owen? I fear this is where it could blow up. 4 of these people are going to both tribals so it's a very tricky situation. If the plan falls apart, the votes might just all fall back onto me because I'm the "easy vote". I have to see what happens and make a calculated decision before tribal that will work in my favour.
It could be game over, or game on.
So like, I want Gage to go home. He is going to both tribals like Jenn, Jimmy, and Owen. Lydia and Owen are in the minority in Game B, so I'm thinking they're going to be easy boots because Gage is close to Kait. Well, I don't want that to happen, obviously. They're both my allies. But I'm also on good terms with Jenn and Jimmy, so I don't want them to go. Kait isn't an option because Kait isn't going to both tribals, and no one wants an angry, scorned Kait in the game. That's like leaving a provoked bear in the game. No thanks! Plus I'm good with her, too. That leaves Gage, and he made it super easy for me to want him gone by not speaking to me at all, lol. I sent you the receipts of my adventure, the least you can do is respond! Rude!!! Anyways, yeah, Gage should go. Also, he is trying to target me, I guess? Which is also not cool. Good Guy Gage is going down.

WHOA I WON THAT IMMUNITY HUH!!!!!! im honestly not that worried if we lose just bc ik i have mj ruthie and matt on my side no matter what and that would at least tie it. but basically i tried to go on call with owen and kait to smooth over some relationships... i rly intended to work with owen if he would let me but he went and told kait the one piece of information i told him which was that i heard that lydia and kait made a deal to stay.. owen u rly know how to piss me OFF huh
i had a pretty good call with kait and i hope it was enough that if mj did keep me if we lose on tribe b, she wouldn't flip her shit and come after mj. mj is literally the saving grace of my game and ill do anything for him in this game. if that means i gotta be fake with kait and pretend like i wanna smooth things over and work together then ill do that. anyway ruthie is a legend and will win this season bookmark THAT
I've been laying SUPER low. Like, I apologized to Kait and told her I was close to voting her out because she scares me as a player or whatever, but that I really wanted to work with her because we didn't get a chance to work together in Trashy, and then I also threw in how my good friend Ashley Sarah liked playing with her so much when Kait was catfishing in Canaries and hopefully we bonded a bit. SHE FREAKING TERRIFIES ME but if working with her keeps me around longer, I'm all for it. I'm not going to try to make anymore big moves for awhile because as much as I want to, I don't want to piss off the rest of the people in the tribes.
My goal now is to stay close with Steffen, Steve and keep talking to Pat because he's just so nice. He's genuinely the nicest person playing in my opinion. I'm also going to stay close to Jakey, he's my number one, and I'm going to stay close to Carson as well, and just try to stay on his good side and stuff. I don't want to take Carson to the end, there is no way. As much as I love Steffen I'd rather not take him to the end either. Jakey I could see, going all the way with but we both have to stay in order for anything like that to actually happen.
I don't know if I made the right choice in putting my foot down about voting Jimmy over Gage. Every option seems bad in my opinion, but I think I've made it pretty clear I want Gage around, just to turn my back and vote him next time... I don't know. This will probably bite me in the ass somehow, like maybe Gage is lying to me and Lydia will end up going, or idk god knows what will happen....
Nobody has really talked to me since I went to dinner at 6:30... So part of me just feels like I'm getting clocked on both tribes. Either way, I guess I'll see what happens.
I don't want this to be the end, really, and I don't know if it's smart to try and take control in a game where everything spreads like fire and is painfully obvious. I just gotta keep crossing my fingers, huH!
Time off???? from this game????? A concept! I don't know what to do with my hands.
youtube
gage is leaving????? maybe.... even tho i'd prefer owen leaving but... everything is so risky and shaky at this point im so KJDFHJKDHS NNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
This may be my last confessional! I decided against playing the fake idol card because I didn't want it to blow up the plan currently in place. If it goes how I hope I should survive but I've still got low expectations. Secondly, I'm a bad explainer of things and I didn't want to get caught out and laughed at because I made a silly idol. It's a card I'll keep in my pocket if I survive. If not, I'll be thankful to those who tried to keep me in the game and I'll wish my allies luck in surviving. But fingers crossed and all the other stereotypical survival things to say. Lets goooooooo
I guess Gage is coming for me, so I had to switch my vote against him. If he knew how much I'd been doing to protect his ass, maybe he'd think differently.
It's a shame when people's stupid decisions prevent others from doing the right thing. Oh well! STUPID.
I had three calls the hour before tribal with Jenn, Lydia, and Owen and they were all concerned with getting Gage out, and then he gets voted out unanimously in both games. I'm glad all that time I spent trying to get him out wasn't wasted. Bye-bye, Gage! Don't target me next time, okay?
Whew I am so happy I survived but extremely sad that it came at Gage's expense. I really would've loved to work with him because he's honest, caring, charming etc. He's just a all round good guy and buddy. I'm also interested that suddenly I'm making a whole pack of new friends? Kait (although drunk) is talking to me for the first time since day 1 and secondly Owen has found his voice to chat to me! So I'm very interested to see what position this could put me in. I'm also shook that Matt thought my idol was real? I told him it was fake before I made it gdfihgkol. Maybe I should pull it out if it's convincing enough! Also I'm surprised Lydia came to me and goes "you're welcome". Um. I'm not sure you swung the vote on my tribe to Gage considering there was talk of it being him at lunchtime today? Like. I'm crediting Jenn and Jimmy for that one so sorry this isn't Port Royal and I'm a different player. Just cuz I'm in a shitty position doesn't mean I'm not beginning around for whatever scraps I can find. I HOPE this tribal is turning point for me, but you hosts are sending us all to tribal again so I'll probably get taken out as the easy vote, but I trust Jenn/Jimmy to at least tie it for us.

Under the Sakura Tree
I had to be the change I wanted to see in the world lmao
Pairing: Kabru/Hien/Benichidori
Rating: Explicit
Summary: Kabru is approached by Hien and Benichidori while Toshiro and Laios hang out. It seems as though they have something other than friendship on the mind however, and have fun underneath the Sakura tree.
A/N: Trans Kabru in this one!
You can find the fic on ao3 or read below!
The Sakura tree was flourishing, even though it was planted outside of the Eastern continent. Kabru wasn’t sure if the tree grew well in any soil, or if it was there was something magical afoot. Either way, it was blossoming, just in time for Toshiro’s visit.
Toshiro had been planning on coming over to visit Laios for some time now. Kabru had his own thoughts about Toshiro’s real motive, and was almost certain it had to do with Falin. She lived in the castle and only left when necessary. She preferred to stay by her brother’s side, and help Marcille with her duties when needed.
The tree had been an offering of peace between Toshiro and Laios, but the dark haired man liked to visit the tree when it blossomed. Kabru remembered hearing Marcille grumble that “if the trees blooming are so magical, just enjoy it in your own country.”
The interesting thing was, Toshiro mostly spent his time visiting away from the tree, instead spending his time with Falin and Laios. And today was no exception. So here Kabru sat, mind full of what Toshiro’s next move with the King and his sister would be, directly underneath the Sakura tree.
“It’s up here Hien,” a bored voice said, and Kabru looked up. He was surprised to see two of the ninjas under Toshiro’s employ, walking up the hill towards the tree. Toshiro was nowhere in sight, and they usually were guarding him. What could they be doing here?
“I wonder if it will be blossoming now,” the other ninja said. “Back home they will be but here they might n—oh!”
The two women had caught sight of Kabru. Well, his moment alone was over now, he might as well say hello. Kabru stood up and brushed the petals that had fallen on him off, giving the ninjas a winning smile. To his amusement, they both turned a light shade of pink. Kabru had been out of the game for a bit, but it looked like he still had it.
“Hien, Benichidori?” Kabru said, smile still on his face. “I do hope I remembered your names.”
“Y-yes,” stuttered Benichidori, who was elbowed by Hien.
“Nothing gets by you, you’re a brilliant man” Hien said smoothly, and Kabru inclined his head towards her.
“Thank you,” he said. “From a woman as talented as you, this is a high compliment. May I ask why you are not with your master?”
At this Hien let out a snort, and it was her turn to be elbowed. Kabru raised his eyebrows, and Benichidori sighed.
“He’s off with Laios,” she said. “They’ve been awfully close lately. So close that Falin wasn’t invited with them today, and we were told to scram.”
Kabru blinked. Well…the idea that Toshiro might want to be close to Laios had crossed his mind, but it had been low on his priority list when thinking of the Eastern man’s motives. And in an interesting turn of events, Laios seemed eager to spend time completely alone with him.
“I see,” Kabru said slowly. “So you came to see the tree while you wait for him?”
“Yeah,” Hien said. “There’s a lot of symbolism and stuff behind these trees. But I like ‘em ‘cause they’re pretty.”
“Much like the two of you,” Kabru said. He wasn’t sure why he was being so complimentary, but there was something about the way the two looked…skirts with slits that showed off their strong thighs, faces that were pure artistry…he just couldn’t help himself!
And then the two ninjas did something unexpected. They giggled. The two stoic women, ready to kill at a moments notice, giggled at his words.
“Is that so?” Benichidori asked. She batted her eyes, long black eyelashes like fans against her paper white skin.
“At night, couples like to visit these trees,” Hien said, striding forward towards Kabru, “so they can have a nice romantic evening. But usually the trees are surrounded by people, so how romantic could it really get?”
“This tree is so far away from the world,” Benichidori said, her voice silky smooth. She practically sashayed over, light as air, and smiled coyly at Kabru. “Maybe you could show us a little romance.”
“A little…?” Kabru started, shocked at her forwardness. Kabru wasn’t new to having women throw themselves at him, but somehow this was unexpected. Usually it was women at bars, not high class warriors who were completely sober.
“We’ve heard the rumors,” Hien said, leaning towards Kabru and lightly pushing him up against the tree. “Heard you like to sleep around. Well…maybe we want a taste. See what all the fuss is all about.”
“Have all the women who visit the castle gotten a piece? That’s what they say happens. So it’s really only fair to do this with us.” Benichidori said smugly.
“That’s what…? Who’s saying that?” Kabru asked weakly, but didn’t deny the light accusation.
“You can say no,” Hien whispered in his ear. “Just say the word and we’ll simply enjoy the blossoms.”
“I would never,” Kabru said, a gleam in his eye. “How could I let you two leave without giving you a reason to return?”
Hien let out a pleased hum, and Benichidori rested a hand on Kabru’s chest.
“I want the first kiss,” she whispered. Kabru pulled her in by the waist, and nuzzled her neck. “As you wish,” he said, kissing along her jaw before brushing his lips against hers. As they began to kiss, Kabru could hear the tell tale rustling sound of fabric, but he ignored it so he could focus on the beauty in front of him. Benichidori’s lips were soft, and somehow her heavy makeup remained in place, even as their kisses grew more fevered.
“Hey,” Hien said, and the two broke apart. She was lying on her side, and Kabru couldn’t help the soft whine that escaped him. She was gloriously nude, completely waxed, unlike himself. Kabru drank her in, wanting to touch her with not only his hands, but his lips and tongue.
“Oh Hien,” Benichidori said, dropping to her knees and crawling over to the other woman. “You have to out do me every time!”
“Out do you? Is my body so alluring that you’re worried you can’t possibly compare?” Hien teased.
“You’re more muscular than me,” Benichidori said. “I know I used to make fun of you for it but…”
“You’re seeing the beauty now?” Kabru supplied, sitting down next to them. “Muscular or not, you’re both gorgeous. Let me see you too,” he said.
“You’ll show me yours if I show you mine?” Benichidori said, and Kabru grinned. Hien helped strip Kabru of his many layers—royal court attire was not easy to shed—and soon the three were free to the air. Kabru didn’t know who to approach first, but it was quickly decided for him.
Benichidori crawled over to Kabru, and pushed him down against the grass. Her breasts pressed against his chest, the skin on skin contact sending a jolt of pleasure through him. She worked his mouth open with hers, far more skilled than Kabru had taken her for.
“Sit up,” Hein said, no, demanded of her friend. Benichidori did as asked, and Kabru moaned loudly as he looked up and realized Hein was above him. Her cunt was glistening, and she lowered herself down onto Kabru’s face.
Kabru could hear the women kissing as he lapped at her, Hien’s sweet slick filling his mouth. His tongue thrust inside of her before expertly licking at her folds. He reached a hand up and teased at Hein’s clit as she rode his face, chasing her pleasure.
“P-please him,” Hien panted, and there was a warmth against his own heat. Benichidori was lapping at him, her face pressed as close to him as possible. She licked and sucked, and Kabru’s legs shook as he did his best not to focus on his pleasure. He needed to focus on Hien but it was getting so hard…
With a loud cry, Hien’s legs clamped around Kabru’s head, her sweet cum getting Kabru’s face messy as she rubbed herself against his face. It wasn’t long before Kabru reached his peak as well, Hien still on his face as Benichidori continue to lick, giving him the best orgasm he’d had in a while.
“Your turn,” he gasped as Hien lifted herself off. Benichidori kissed him deeply as he slid next to her, fingers sliding into her sopping wet cunt. He fucked his fingers in and out until she was squealing, and then pulled away. She looked on the verge of complaining, but he dove back in, this time his mouth focused on her clit while he slid his fingers inside.
Hien wasn’t one to sit and just let things happen it seemed. For the second time, Kabru felt a warm tongue on him, and he moaned against Benichiori, eyes rolling back as Hein thoroughly tongue fucked him. Kabru and Benichidori came at the same time, their legs both shaking as they did.
The three lay under the tree in silence for a bit, coming down from their respective highs, panting slightly. Finally Kabru turned to face them.
“Can I count on you returning?” he asked casually.
“You couldn’t pay me to stay away,” Hien said, eyes hooded, and Benichidori nodded in agreement. They would definitely be coming back, and perhaps next time, Toshiro wouldn’t even need to accompany them.
