Any plans for Lantern Rite? It may not be Liyue, but I doubt anyone would argue against bringing some traditions from there to the city. A little taste of home, and all.

THE head of his ink brush stills against parchment, his gaze cast thoughtfully through the window pane. No lanterns are lighting the streets, no fireworks crackling in the crisp late-winter air; only snow piled on the sidewalks, and citizens moving about the city as they would any other day.

It would have started today. ❞ His brush is set back upon its holder as Zhilan works out a kink in his neck by rolling his shoulders. He's been sitting here a while now... ❝ But I haven't given much thought as to how I would celebrate here, ❞ he remarks when his arms drop back at his sides in a weighted manner. His tone sounds noticeably brighter, as though the suggestion has given him an idea. ❝ I suppose it's strange that I haven't—there's not much stopping me from celebrating in spite of my circumstances. ❞ He could start by involving a few of his companions, now that he thinks of it. By the heels of his palms, he pushes himself from his seat, rising with an inspired smile set upon his features. ❝ The best place to start would be with Mingxiao Lanterns, wouldn't it? I could make several for some friends and I—though, I'd have to see if it's compliant with city ordinance to release them, heh... ❞

❝ I think I'll do that. This research of mine can wait. ❞
