percy jackson: isn’t the biggest swiftie in the world but adores her music if it’s on. he owns at least two copies of the 1989 cd and his fav song to blast while skateboarding is welcome to new york ofc.

annabeth chase: absolutely loves taylor, probably really resonated with her lyrics and storytelling style tbh. her favourite albums are definitely 1989 (the beach-y california vibe yk), lover, and midnights and folklore and evermore and fearless and reputation and speak now. grover underwood: he’s a music guy. ofc he likes taylor swift. probably only knows like four songs total, and they’re all from like debut and fearless but hey. that’s something.

Annabeth= you can't convince she isn't a swiftie i know she is, but not many people know cause she thinks it's lowkey embarassing to be into Taylor, but she's totally a Speak now, 1989 stan she was screaming "Better than revenge" every day and every night when Rachel was into the picture, also she totally made Percy listen to "You are in love" cause it reminds her of them. He was screaming crying every liryc of "You belong with me" at night in the Argo II when he thought Leo had a thing for Hazel. He gifted Midnights to Hazel cause the album is so her according to him. Will= he's one of the biggest swifties at chb, there's literally nothing you can say to convince me otherwise. He's into her country albums more but actually lover all of her music, Taylor is his comfort singer (besides his mom of course) he's a Fearless girly and listens to "Fearless" the song, during long operations cause it helps him, "Hey Stephen" makes him think of Nico as well as "New year's day" cause he's a simp and "Dancing with our hands tied" cause that's literally his pov in Tartarus,idc, and of course "The best day" makes him think of his mom. "Change" and "Jump then fall" are some of his favorite Taylor's songs ever. I know my boy cries to "Mirrorball" and "This is me trying". Hazel= she's into Midnights (not only cause Frank gifted it to her, even tho that definetly made the album gain some extra points) "Bejeweled" and "Karma" are some of her favorite songs of the whole album but she cried the first time she listened to "You're on your own kid" so it has a special place on her heart. She dedicated "Lavander Haze" and "Sweet nothings" to Frank and it made him a bit emotional. Also she loves "Paris" cause she has taste. She absolutely adores "The outside" and the Debut album in general

Nico= i know what you're thinking hes a Reputation supporter but i actually see him more as a Folklore/Evermore girlie and a Lover one too, unlike Piper he's more on "The archer", "Cruel summer", "It's nice to have a friend" and "Soon you'll get better" side of Lover cause u know my boy is a little bit of a mess, and of course he loves "Daylight", "Cornelia street" (actually this song is his religion we know he has low self esteem) and "Aterglow" cause they make him think of Will. He thinks "No body, no crime" is probably Taylor best dark bop and obviously he loves "Gold rush" but i think he relates it back to his old crush on Percy, "Evermore" the song, is one of his favorite on the whole album, as well as "Long story short". I know Nico secretely cries to "Tolerate it". He dedicated "Invisible string" to Will (actually if you read TSATS without being a fucking hater, you'll know this is lowkey, very lowkey tho, canon) he loves "Peace" and "The Lakes" cause he relates to them deeply. i love taylor swift since i was little, which is why it pains me to say this but the most recent albums (ttpd n midnights) feel like money grabs, like i wishe she would've take more time with it and think it through instead of just using phrases that are now popularized then putting it in a song

her album doesnt feel authentic to me anymore... some of the songs are kinda good. but (to me) after evermore she just stops caring about her craft.

although knowing that Taylor cares so much about sales (ex. her doing a lot of versions of one song with barely anything added to it) i mean get that bag girl! and it shouldn't be that surprising :/ since the beginning of her career (ex. she needs to always have no.1s and must get grammys each album/year or she'll be devastated n cry. overachiever things 😋 shes so me)

Ough /pos - His last name is Doe, his wife's name was Jane, and his daughter is named Judy - John and Jane had a very Greg and Rose type of dynamic, just some guy and a woman who seemed extraordinary and far out of his league - Tho unlike Steven Judy actually did get to have a few years with her before she kicked it lol - Also his daughter is alive! I'm not THAT cruel. She was at a friend's house and John and Jack immediately rushed over to pick her up - However there's a good period of time where John just gets stuck on the idea of what if. What if she was there, what if she got hurt, what if he lost her, what if what if what if. He starts spiraling on all the ways he could lose Jack too, it got bad. Thankfully Jack was there to ground him :> - Why yes that was my projecting a little, why do you ask - Seriously tho he loves Judy sm he'd die for her in a heartbeat - Eventually grows to love Jack to the point he'd also die for him - I like to think John and Frank were really close when they were kids, not as close as Lila and Jaune but damn near it. When he got too old for that, it was pencils and pens, and when he got too old for that, he started smoking - It is absolutely a sensory thing and he doesn't realize it is a sensory thing. Mans just needs something in his mouth - If he happens to run out of cigarettes he goes back to pencils and pens. stiles stilinski: probably the biggest one on this list. this boy goes HARD CORE. he’s got a jake gyllenhaal hate account out there somewhere. and he FUCKS IT UP to no body, no crime (and so does his dad, let’s be real). evermore in general is his favorite, though you’d have to put a gun to his head to pick seconds.

scott mccall: absolutely. stiles will absolutely deny it, but scott is the one who first played him her music back when they were in lower school. he loves the classics like red, but has a sweet spot for folklore too.

lydia martin: you know she is. everything about her screams it. her favorite is speak now, but i can’t explain why. it just… is.

allison argent: of course. and right off the bat her favorites are fearless and reputation because duh. the archer is an ode to her, and she knows it, and rubs it in lydia’s face. (and of course no body, no crime. shameless plug for lauren’s story which can be found on her account)

liam dunbar: yes. yes he is. his two favorite albums are either taylor swift for the classics, or reputation because he wants to feel like a badass. also def went to see the fearless concert back when she toured.

mason hewitt: same as scott and stiles, liam and mason are the dynamic duo of taylor stans. they’ll be chilling, playing video games, drinking mountain dew, the whole frat boy thing. except there… in the background… is miss americana and the heartbreak prince. unsurprisingly, his favorite album is lover (but also lowkey folklore).

isaac lahey: he says he hates taylor swift because she’s so mainstream. but he gave himself away when stiles made a scarf comment/reference that he immediately responded to, outing himself. red is obviously his favorite, so he couldn’t help himself.

oh the tsukishima and yamaguchi in quarantine of it all. you can’t tell me that yams didn’t stop talking about folklore when it first came out and eventually convinced tsukki to give it a listen. they probably spent several nights dissecting the story and lyrics, because they’re the type of dorks to do so and i love ‘em. they enjoyed analyzing the connections in cardigan, august, and betty.

ushijima. why? i said so. okay for real, i have this picture of him listening to the album trying to wind down after a long, tiring day or while he’s cleaning/gardening/doing any sort of super mundane task. the album’s vibe relaxes him and he appreciates the storytelling. faves could include ivy, cowboy like me, and dorothea.

The Foxes accents

Okay, as someone who actually haven’t read all of the aftg ec, please go easy on me. That being said, I haven’t once heard anyone speak of any of the foxes’ accents, other than Neil’s british one, and i have thoughts, and I just wanted to curse you all with them. 

Okay, so I actually don’t remember where Dan is from, but i always just pictured her with the standard American accent. Like, when you watch a british show and an american shows up. That accent.

So, Kevin... He grew up in Castle Evermore after his mother died(? maybe also before?), so I see 2 options. Either he also has the generic american accent, or, the way more fun option, he is very southern. It’s frequently mentioned that he is charming with the press, and what he more charming than a southern gentleman??? Nothing that is. 

Andrew grew up in California so he could lowkey be a surferdudebro. But I just really can’t see that. There is also the problem with both Nicky and Aaron, who are both, spoiler alert, clearly also southern having grown up in SC(I think with Aaron, don’t sue me). So i really think that he unconsciously mimic their accent to better fit in with them. Deny all you want, but this boy still want a family.

My sweet little angle Matt i believe grew up in New York, and him being the big teddy bear that he is, and then giving him the stereotypical Boston accent really tickles. 

I believe Aaron grew up in SC, but now that I think about it... Did he also grow up in Cali?? Or was that one of Tilda’s boyfriends? Either way i still picture him with a lowkey southern accent. He doesn’t play down intentionally, it just sorta happened after Andrew moved in with him and Tilda. 

I am so sorry, but i really think that Seth was a bit of trailer/white-trash? So he has that sorta southerndrawl, yet it’s not? Picture Bubba J from Jeff Dunham yet, less obnoxious.  

Okay so Allison grew up rich, and i always imagine her with like, a posh american accent. Like, the hollywood accent? It’s not quite the generic accent, but close to it. It has class.

Nicky did grow up in SC, that much i am sure of. So the southern accent for him. But i feel like he sorta lost it a bit in Germany? So when he moved back to the states to take care of the twins, it was that sorta lowkey accent Aaron had adopted from living with Andrew for however months. It is also after moving in with Nicky and Aaron that Andrew’s changes. Nicky doesn’t mention it, and Aaron doesn’t realize they now sound the same. 

So Renee grew up surrounded by gangsters right? But she’s also a “convincing” christian, so she can’t have that stereotypical gangster accent. Also so she is like soft spoken? I really don’t know what she sounds like accent wise in my head. I’m sorry, I have failed you Renee.

This motherfucker keeps changing his accent. At this point not even Neil knows what accent is his “true” one. He grew up in Baltimore, but he mostly spent time with his mom. So i feel like he has like, a bastard accent with a mixture of those two as his comfort accent. But he can mimic almost all accent, as a survival tactic. Very useful on the run. When he first joined the foxes, he kept his generic american from living in Arizona. But after they won the final game against the ravens i feel like he went “I am truly safe now, I can be Neil Josten forever” and slowly just dropped the generic one and went for his comfort. If i gonna live, might as well be comfortable with my family.

so there will be mild spoilers for the game here. esp rod’s route! please look away now if you still don’t know the story and still want to fully enjoy it for yourself as i highly highly recommend it to everyone haha!

the boys were all wonderful and i think they all complimented lucette in such an endearing way, which the sequel definitely showed off amazingly, with my favorites being fritz and rod in terms of route satisfaction haha

my favorite has always been rod and god it’s kind of embarrassing how much i cried over this man and his constant selflessness for those who he loved. the way in which he was represented really appealed to me in the sense that he truly revolved around love: he took upon the challenges that came with transitioning to royalty for love, and where he eventually gave up that constant once again in the name of love. this dynamic really worked well with his cynical and cute grumpy character i think, which is why i received his route the best! i’m also a sucker for heart-strings being angstily tugged, so just seeing rodcette fighting relentlessly for their relationship (especially rod, being the sacrificial, overthinking boy he is haha), i found it to be endearingly romantic bwha.

THERE WERE SO MANY LITTLE DEJA VU MOMENTS FROM ROD’S ROUTE IN THE FIRST GAME TOO please the reminiscent nostalgia drove me absolutely insane

i noticed the other routes definitely had their suggestive moments in this game, but admittedly i didnt think we were gonna get the same treatment in rod’s route due to the taboos of their relationship.. OH HOW I WAS HAPPILY PROVEN WRONG… it was.. arguably the most suggestive scene out of all of them yeah i said it

Jack stopped making unique sounding tracks after OOTW. Imo, that song and I Wish You Would are his peaks as a producer and nearly every song he produced on Lover was a return to form. I love all his stuff on Rep, but that's when it started to sound derivative of other artists he produced who also released music that same year (Lorde and St. Vincent). He did very well on Evermore though, Gold Rush is flawless, but I really can't stand the pseudo dream pop sound on Mirrorball, August and This is Me Trying. Don't think he does that genre (or those great songs) justice, he makes them sound incredibly surface level.

This ask is loaded. I don't worship every single production choice of Jack's but I also think people claiming all his songs sound the same is an exaggeration. He has some quirks he likes coming back to like any musician. I adore the sound of Out Of The Woods, it's a truly inspired piece of music. Also Look What You Made Me Do has pretty iconic production tbh that was lowkey ahead of its time (it was mocked when it came out but if Billie had put it on her debut album two years later, I feel it would've been hailed a masterpiece). Some of his stuff on Lover is a bit boring, I do feel like the production of Cornelia Street (which is a song I love to bits) and Daylight is him just kind of "going through the motions". But yeah, Death By A Thousand Cuts sounds extremely unique to me, London Boy is pretty different from most of his other stuff and Lover sounds absolutely timeless tbh.

I can sort of see that this is me trying might've suffered a bit from the Jack-Effect but I adore the production of mirrorball and august sorry. (I do prefer the Long Pond version of mirrorball but she wrote the song to track!!! and I can hear exactly how she heard that instrumental and thought of a mirrorball. Idk that track is just so calming and I actually don't find it very similar to most of his other stuff. The only production moment I don't love on august is when her voice is put through a filter on the second chorus.)

Also re: his other work with other artists. NFR was an absolutely astounding album, The Greatest was like the best song of 2019 (if I turn off my Taylor-bias).
