thinking about terrace house au samaichi again, except this time samatoki and ichiro aren't both guests at the house. instead it's ichiro and nemu and all the viewers + commentators think they're going to get together because ichiro is always a bit awkward and blushy around nemu when he's so confident otherwise

only for ichiro to confess to nemu, like 3/4th of the way through the season, that he actually went to the same high school as her for a bit. that she was two years ahead of him, and he transferred in late in his first year, so they only really overlapped by like three months and of course she wouldn't remember him because they never even formally met

but he remembers her and, more specifically, he remembers her amazingly cool slicked back hair leather jacket big brother who picked her up at the school gates a few times. he remembers finding out that her big brother was in a band and low-key (commentator ramuda will later cackle "low-key?! he thought that was low-key?!") stalked him a little bit. sneaking out late to go to his shows. buying all his demo cds and listening to them on repeat. slipping into bars and hiding among samatoki's other groupies just to hear samatoki laugh

and that's why he's so awkward around nemu, but their housemates insist he's giving off vibes of crushing hard on nemu so he figured it was only right that he come clean to make sure he wasn't giving her the wrong idea

nemu's like "oh sweetie that's adorable and i appreciate your honesty but you know my brother is a huge siscon who's going to be watching every minute of this show right?" and ichiro's like "oh but they wouldn't air this part would they?" and nemu gives him this flatly sympathetic look that makes him go "......would they?"

which then makes nemu look directly into the nearest camera like she's on a different show entirely
