I'm glad people are finally seeing what an incredible character Eichi is, with all his contradictions in the way he acts, and his severe push/pull tide of emotions (ex. EP:Link, Element, Sanctuary) it's what makes his character so beautifully human.

#ensemble stars #eichi tenshouin #tenshouin eichi #Also in the post I'm referencing they mention the common misconception that #eichi started the war because he was in love with wataru #which isn't true #exactly the opposite #he started the war because he loves idols #and wanted to create a better environment for new idols #as idols were the ones who kept him happy when he was in hospital #the war was something he did out of his love for idols #not his love for wataru #that was why he targetted Wataru as one of the five eccentrics #he realised it would mean Wataru would never feel the same as he'd hurt both him and his friends #but wataru (another very beautiful and complex character) realised Eichi's intentions far quicker than anyone else did #and thats why now they're side by side #Eichi never started the war for Wataru's attention #he actually assumed it would make him resent him #a lot #and expresses to this day #even after EP:Link #that he feels he is undeserving of wataru's love #because he is wracked by guilt over his own overly severe actions during the war #because he hurt so many people #it's not just wataru though #he feels undeserving of *any* love #me after making a post and then writing an eichi monologue in the tags
