My Incredibly Spoiler Heavy Thoughts on Nightbringer
TURN BACK IF YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN PLAYING THE GAME AT ALL. I MEAN IT.
Hello. I have completed all 10 lessons on the Normal difficulty. These are my thoughts:
First, a disclaimer. All of this is my opinion. If you feel differently about a character or plot point, that's fine. This is all just as I see it.
Holy hell, I love the setup here so damn much. The Nightbringer story so far is truly more than just a rehash of the OG plot, largely because of all the small stuff that keeps happening in background. Yes, we're befriending the brothers again, but we don't know WHY. Why are we in the past? Who sent us there? What do they want from us, or... what do they want out of somebody else?? 👀 I have to hand it to the writers for coming up with this premise, it's soild. Will they stick the landing...? We'll see.
The New! (Old) Cast
Lucifer:
Whelp, Luci is being colder to us than ever... But far more openly involved with his brothers than we saw previously. You can really tell that this is fresh off of the War and he's just trying his best to keep everybody corralled and (somewhat) comfortable.
He still holds onto his Celestial Realm prejudice against demons, so he doesn't trust MC at all which is an interesting turn on the dynamic from before. As a human, Lucifer saw us as weak and insignificant so he didn't give us much time of day. But as a "demon," and someone more knowledgeable about the Devildom than himself, he has to suck it up and rely on MC even if he wants them to stay away.
By the end of Lesson 10, it's safe to say whatever trust he had in MC is going to be shattered. MC has talked their way out of a lot, but even Dia looks shaken by their abilities this time... I'm curious to see if they can reestablish a relationship with him when he was already keeping them at arms length to start with.
Mammon:
Ah, Mammon... Once simp, forever a simp across time and space. Bless him. I guess he's just doomed to always fall first when it comes to MC. It DOES NOT take long for him to be down bad even if you don't romance him specifically (I would know because I'm trying to stay mono-Levi this go around).
Aside from his tsundere-ness, though, we do get a look into more of his insecurities. I find an interesting pattern developing in him where he just tends to latch onto a person and follow them unfailing. He did that with Lucifer before the Fall, he didn't even think about the consequences before going through with it. You could see him doing much the same with MC. I think it stems from a lack of confidence in himself and his own abilities, constantly relying on others to guide him through big decisions and provide him with validation. Add another poor thing to the list...
Leviathan:
I swear to God, the devs realized that Levi's charm lies in his pathos, so they went out of the way to make him EVEN MORE pathetic than normal. I still love him for it, of course. But seriously, Levi starts out practically afraid of his own shadow when the story starts. It makes sense, Levi would have probably one of the more negative impressions of demons of the seven, having fought them head on. He was a shut in before the War and now he's even more terrified to leave the house, let alone his room... (I can't be the only one who's wondering how the hell Dia's going to look at him and go, "Ah yes! I see Admiral material right there!" right?)
I do like that the writers took the time to show that he's one of the more empathetic brothers, right alongside Asmo and Beel, even if he's bad with people. Levi is quick to sympathize with beings and creatures who don't fit in and it's always very sweet to see. I also guess that Simeon wrote TSL in secret or after the War? You think he would know of it at least having lived so long with the author... Anyway. I digress.
There's a lot of... small things around Levi that I think hint at the inner feelings of the brothers, though (of all seven of them, he has the WORST poker face I swear). I may touch on those in another post because I need time to gather my thoughts on how it all connects there... Anyway, he's still my favorite and I'm going to try to see if there's any truth to this "you get a deeper connection if you stick to one brother" thing. Wish me luck.
Satan:
Okay, load your guns now because I think Satan is the real star of the show here. They're actually pulling way more than the "He's mad because he's seen like Lucifer" card. We're at a point where Satan doesn't even consider himself associated with the brothers AT ALL. That means something and has consequences on the story. He didn't even go with them to check on Beel, despite having enough fire power that he could have probably helped a lot.
Now before someone goes screaming at me that they've devolved him into comic relief, I'd first like to ask what did you think he was going to be? OG Satan told us himself that he used to feel nothing but anger. He's going to be pissed, irrational, and violent. He's Wrath.
What truly they're giving us under all of that is a look into a vulnerable guy who doesn't know anything about the world around him and is trying to pick it up on his own because his brothers can't (and maybe won't) teach him. They keep chaining him up (which I hate btw) and talk about him like he's a beast. But it's partially because they're such terrible communicators that he flies off the handle so often to begin with.
Satan is more alone than really anybody else is the Devildom. His brothers already have all this history together and memories shared during their time as angels, stuff he has no context for and could never experience himself. He's still an outcast among demons for his association with them, despite being a fully fledged demon in his own right, and he doesn't know why he has to be linked to them because he barely knows them anyway. He's taking baby steps to understand the world, but when he goes to his brothers to ask questions they lampshade him for even having clear thoughts. All they see him as is a roaring beast. This version of Satan is fascinating to me. How does he start here and end up the eloquent, emotionally-controlled bookworm with a planet's worth of connections? I gotta know!!
Asmodeus:
They FINALLY started giving Asmo his proper flowers! I still think it could have been more, but he's gotten way more depth than he had before. I know that Asmo part technically involved MC's input the least out of all of the brothers, but I think that was by design.
Asmo is a surprisingly introspective individual under his urge to perform. MC didn't have to give much input because he just didn't need as much. He knows himself very well (unlike some of the others). He's an emotionally intelligent guy who can sort out his own inner problems and remain empathetic enough to want to help his brothers in his own way. I wanted to hear more from this side of Asmo, honestly, but the game seems to make it clear that he's content with his spot of being the family's brightest smile. I hope it makes more appearances as we go on.
Beelzebub:
This one is tricky, because lesson 10 leaves off on a cliffhanger related to Beel... So I think Beel's feelings will have more consequences than the other brothers' on the story. Most of all that we see of Beel is, unfortunately, him being hungry or off being wholesome with Belphie but lesson 10 did give us some eye-openers regardless.
First, apparently if he flies off the handle, Beel is quite the challenge to handle. It takes Dia himself to restrain him, which is pretty insane for the sixthborn in the line-up. It's possible some outside magic is cranking up his power somehow, but we won't know until the next lessons are out.
Secondly, I find it very interesting that Beel's "heart-to-heart" moment with us is being saved for last... It was definitely the most surprising one of the secrets in the teasers (in my opinion). Beel and Belphie are glued to the hip and share everything together so for him to have a secret "not even Belphie" knows is pretty shocking. I hope it's not just that he saved Belphie instead of Lilith since we all already know that. It'd be a pretty cheap pay off to all this buildup... Not that I haven't been disappointed before or anything.
Belphegor:
Similar to Beel, Belphie doesn't get much attention until the end and it isn't much that we haven't heard before, unfortunately. You kind can't blame them, since plumbing out Belphie's inner trauma about the War was the entire climax of the first game. It's nothing we don't already know. That being said, I think there's some more interesting things that are being said about Belphie or left unsaid by the others that I find more fascinating to keep track of.
TLDR, I think there's some weird distancing going on between Belphie and the others. It doesn't seem super apparent, but Levi dropped some weird bombshells early on and I can't help but notice how he just never seems to be without Beel. Those two are close, yeah, but in this game they're practically a unit. I'm pretty sure Belphie is using Beel as a security blanket of sorts. He's also the ONLY one to mention Lilith in any great detail. Unsurprising, but it's worth noting that the others haven't really brought her up despite it (supposedly) starting the War.
Diavolo:
Somebody give this guy a vacation and a raise... So apparently, the brothers were cast down, the old King took one look at them and counted to seven, then conked out. Now our boy has to rule the kingdom. He's... the same really. As far as I can tell. You can really see how much he's taken to the brothers' antics though, which checks out in the other game too.
WAAAY more fascinating to me is apparently there's some kind of body called the House of Lords who think that Dia is too young for the job. What's the House of Lords?? Who are they? Are they like a council or advisory board...? Or is this a UK setup? Is there a Parliamentary board?? I dunno, could just be my Poli Sci talking but I'm now so lost on how the Devildom operates now...
Barbatos:
Oh my God, if there is any character I could live vicariously through, it was Barbs here. For whatever unnamed reason he is NOT having any of Solomon's shit right now and I'm living for it. Setting my delight aside, we don't get to see very much of him and what we do see doesn't really differ from the norm, which only makes his detest all the more shocking.
Through Barbs, we also see just how potent the power of the pacts can be when Solomon summons him and more or less forces him to do as he says. Nothing seems to stop him from retaliating after the fact, as he sent Solomon off who knows where, but seeing that kind of power wielded over a being who's almost unattainable to us is... Well. I feel bad for Asmo.
Simeon:
There's a lot to unpack with Simeon... and a lot of it is in the stuff that goes unsaid. First, I already found it strange that he didn't seem surprised to see Satan in the House. Or if he was, he didn't say it or bother introducing himself which is... telling for a guy like Simeon. He's back to being Luke's minder in front of demons, but I can't help but notice that he doesn't do much to counter Luke's tirades. He only indicates that it's impolite to say them, so he may still harbor the very same feelings.
Simeon and Lucifer have something of a heart to heart together that they never would in the OG title where Simeon admits his biggest regret. It isn't that he didn't follow Lucifer, as we might think, but that he doesn't feel like did enough to reach out to him before he made his decision. Lucifer dispells this, but I think it goes to show that Simeon stands behind his decision to stay and that it was the better option. Lucifer also confront Simeon on why he didn't take a high position (seraph) and instead settled for archangel. It's left open ended what his real motives for that would be, but I suspect that it has something to do with Simeon's troubling streak of going against the grain, even in subtle ways. Or he has too much anger about what happened to accept taking Lucifer's old position.
I found it interesting how easily these two seemed to talk about intimate topics together here where Lucifer barely even acknowledges Simeon's attempts to reach out in the OG story. I wonder what may have happened to sour their relationship so severely...?
Luke:
Luke the Racist Chihuahua returns!! Okay, I'm being a little mean but he's pretty much just self-righteous little kid the whole way through. I will admit, it is a little funny that the person who came up with the nickname was actually Lucifer. I think it's now retconned and confirmed that Luke and the brothers never knew each other before the Fall... though Luke seems to know OF their former selves in some capacity. I could be misinterpreting things though.
The Rat Bastard Solomon:
I swear to God this was me playing through the whole game tied to this guy.
Tumblr media
He's lying. A lot. Constantly. And it pisses me off to no end. I was wondering why things he was saying and the stuff he was doing weren't lining up and OF COURSE it's because he's either working his own agenda or being outright deceitful. I hate him so much, y'all, you don't even know...
That aside, as an impartial observer Solomon is pulling a lot of work to support MC and you can TELL how down bad he is for them, which actually has significance for the plot I think. He's keeping them in the dark about something, but considering his feelings I say we can at least be charitable and assume it isn't to hurt them or cause them any suffering... intentionally. He's also as unscrupulous as ever, considering how he ordered a very angry Barbs around and more or less took advantage of a life or death situation to make a pact with Asmo.
So. At the end of the lessons, we're reintroduced to the mysterious Nightbringer. The character who actually sent us back in time at the start of the game. Yeah, it wasn't Barbatos... probably. At least not our reliable neighborhood butler anyway. They seem to be different entities but I THINK they might share some connection....
I have to wonder who disguised MC when they first arrived. The marketing made it seem like it would be Solomon but the marketing has been hit or miss on actual accuracy about the game we're seeing. If it was Solomon, then he had to have known where the MC was before he called. If it was Nightbringer then... well actually. We need to touch on that first.
Nightbringer:
Now, much of this is just me speculating so take things with a grain of salt. Nightbringer's name is blocked out, but it seems like it identified itself to us in the beginning before sending us to the past. It appears like it wants something from Solomon.... to fully corrupt him maybe? And it's using MC as leverage against him.
I suspect that all of the weird stuff that has been happening is tied to its meddling in some way, but to what end is unclear... Sending Levi and MC into TSL, tricking Asmo then trying to feed everyone to a spider, and, likely, whatever is going on with Beel. I can't tell if it's trying to push MC and the brother's closer together, or just making vaguely comical attempts at homicide by fictional characters, spider, and Gluttony incarnate.
The situation with Adam does give us a hint into its nature. It appears to be some kind of dark, trickster being that gives a person what they desire, but never the way they intended. A walking monkey's paw, if you will. Solomon says that Nightbringer made him what he is today, so perhaps he worked under it or is simply under the influence of one its "deals." Their relationship is adversarial, though. When they're speaking, they talk about the two supernatural sides, Angel and Demon, and Nightbringer seems to want to force Solomon to make a choice between them. Lose his humanity, maybe?
I'm not quite willing to say that Nightbringer is a demon just yet, at least not one of the ones we normally encounter. Something about it seems... older. More powerful than that. But we'll have to wait for more info.
My crackpot theory?
Solomon has made a deal with Nightbringer in order to go back in time and do... something. He's after something. Nightbringer agreed, but dragged MC along as collateral for Solomon to get it done within a certain amount of time or makes sure he honors his part of the bargin. Barbatos knows this, either because he is linked to in some way to Nightbringer or saw it happen in the doorway, and is disgusted by his actions but unable to speak about it due to the pact. Or, you know. That's our present Barbie also dragged along for the ride and he's pissed that he's been essentially hijacked and taken away from present Diavolo, but forbidden to speak about it.

Blessed
Summary: Diavolo x gn!reader. You bring the angels with you to break the news of your upcoming marriage to your super religious parents.
CW: technically parents are religious, but I don't dig too deeply into it. Just the part where they wouldn't like you marrying the prince of hell.
A/N: This came into being because I was thinking about how I'd break the news to my parents if I was marrying Dia. I realized I'd probably have to lie my ass off.
You had calmly explained to Dia that it would be far easier to just… pretend that you weren't together. Your family was already on edge from the random bursts of time you disappeared. But the last thing your super religious parents would want to hear was that part of the reason was that you were the future king of hell’s fiance.
But no. Dia wanted to do the human tradition of “meeting the parents.” And whatever Dia wanted, Dia got, through whining, charm, and sheer stubbornness. What for him was a quirky little human tradition, for you was an incredibly stressful event.
To be fair to your parents, if the roles were reversed, and your child disappeared for months at a time and came back with a fiance, you'd be concerned. So you put some “protections” in place. You hoped it wouldn't come to it, but Simeon and Luke were going to be there. Just in case.
It wasn't going well. You, Diavolo, Simeon, and Luke, all sat awkwardly on the sofa while your parents gave you a stern glare.
“Getting married? Where did you two meet?”
You'd told Dia what he could and couldn't say. You knew he couldn't lie, so you told him to keep his mouth shut. If his lineage came up…oh God. You didn't want to think about it.
“Is he the reason you keep disappearing?”
“Y/N, if you're in trouble,” one of them gently grabbed your hands, staring in your eyes, “you can tell us. We'll get you out of it.”
“And who's the kid?”
“I'm Luke! I'm a friend of Y/N’s!” He said happily, excited to be noticed.
“Well, it's all rather suspect,” one of them said, leveling another glare at Dia, who was simply smiling happily. “I can't support this marriage.”
“I assure you, I will take excellent care of Y/N,” he said happily.
“Again, rather suspect.”
“I have quite a bit of money. Y/N will want for nothing for the rest of their life!”
“And yet their family doesn't seem to be invited to the wedding.”
“Simeon,” you whined to the angel, who sighed and nodded to Luke.
“Please, we know you have reason to be alarmed. But we have been given a message,” Simeon said, Luke nodding along. The two of them stood up, and the room was filled with a blinding light. What your eyes could see and understand, were what you'd been told biblical angels might look like. Yet even that description was off. You just couldn't comprehend the forms in front of you.
“Be not afraid,” Luke ‘spoke’, though more accurately, he sang in a chorus of angelic tones.
“Our Father has sent us with a message. This union has been arranged and blessed by the heavenly Father himself,” Simeon spoke.
Not exactly false. When word had got out that you, an all powerful, dangerous, product of three realms, were dating the Lord of Hell, they'd all but demanded marriage. Perhaps it was a diplomatic move, maybe it was a way to keep you in check, but the Celestial Realm had pushed far harder than the demon lords who'd opposed a marriage.
This was your last ditch effort. If literal angels couldn't convince your parents, Dia had been instructed to get all of you out of there, then order Barbatos to take you all slightly back in time before you had told your parents.
“We promise to guard and guide your child, as our Father has instructed us to care for them,” Luke said.
If your parents dug into this, asking the whys and hows, you'd be fucked. But the awestruck look on their faces told you they were buying it. They seemed to be crying with joy.
Simeon smiled warmly, then him and Luke returned to their regular forms, meaning you could actually look at them. Luke seemed smug, and Simeon seemed relieved.
Your parents tune seemed to have changed completely, now saying only good things about the marriage, eagerly asking if there was any way they could be a part of it, asking Dia all about himself, certain he had to be a good person to have been literally chosen by God for their child.
You sighed in relief as the angels took most of the questions. Dia smiled brightly next to you.
“That went so well! Perhaps I can show them my true form!” You dug your nails into his hand as you and the angels now lied your asses off about what that meant. All while Dia smugly laughed.

Ruben Dias x Reader - Set Me Free Part 1/15
Part 2 and 3 are already out on my Patreon for Free!
Tumblr media
Ruben and Carla have grown apart. With Ruben's career taking off he leaves Portugal to live the life of his dreams, breaking Carla's heart doing so. Years later, upon his return home, Ruben learns that Carla has moved on, happily engaged to another man, but not any man, Ruben's childhood bully João Mendes.
Enjoy!
Carla fell back on her bed, letting the mattress catch her fall. It was bad enough that she turned up to the family reunion without her boyfriend. It was one of those reunions where the parents found pleasure in bragging about their children's life achievements. That's why Carla's mother may never forgive her for ending her long term relationship on the day her boyfriend proposed to her.
"Maybe it's not that bad." Carla's cousin Maria, said.
"My mother started crying when I told her."
"Oh."
It was true, but saying yes to marry João Mendes would mean deceiving her heart and Carla could never.
"But why did you say no?" Maria was a curious one. Carla felt the dip in her bed and understood that her cousin wouldn't leave her alone until she told her the truth.
"Because I promised to marry someone else."
"Who?"
Carla sighed. "You know who."
Maria's face faltered and for a split second she could be mistaken for Carla's mother. They both shared the same expression of pity, especially when it came to anything Ruben Dias related.
"He's not coming back, you know." Maria reached out to caress Carla's hair that lay spread across the bed. "He's an asshole who doesn't deserve you, Carla."
"Following his dreams doesn't make him an asshole."
"No, but breaking your heart does."
Carla shut her eyes to prevent the tears from resurfacing. They always did at the thought of him, at the thought of what she and Ruben had.
"Where did you guys even meet, high school?"
Carla shook her head. "We were already together by then. We met earlier than that, when Ruben and his family were still living across the street from us."
"That's right." Maria nodded. "I remember now. He had a brother, right, Ivan?"
"Yes, why?"
"I think I blew him off at a party once."
"You think?" Carla rolled onto her stomach, eyes darting at her cousin.
"I dunno, I was pretty drunk and the bathroom was very dark. It could have been anyone, even Ruben. He was at the party too."
Carla sat up. "But you think it was Ruben's brother, right?"
"Wait, which ones which?"
"What do you mean?"
"Which ones, which of the brothers? I remember one of them being annoying, chasing us around with garden snails and so on, but the other one.....he was pretty shy, no?"
"It was Ruben." Carla hid her smile. "Ruben was the shy one."
"Right, then I'm pretty sure I blew his brother off at the party, not him."
Thank God.
"Either way. I still don't understand how the two of you ended up together, or worse, ended up engaged without telling anyone?"
"It's a long story." Carla sighed. "It's long and irrelevant now. Ruben and I haven't spoken in years."
"But you still have feelings for him, don't you?"
"No." Carla's voice carried no depth. Her cousin saw through the lies.
"Oh, Carla." She was pulled into a hug that almost crushed her bones. "Bless you my hopeless romantic cousin."
Carla groaned. "I'm neither a romantic or hopeless."
"Oh, I know, I know. You keep telling yourself that until the next prince charming comes around."
Carla rolled her eyes but surrendered to her cousin's smothering embrace. It was comforting considering that she was basically going through a break up. However, a promise was a promise. Carla still wore the ring that Ruben gave her just not around her finger. She wore it around her wrist as it was attached to her charm bracelet. There it allowed her to keep her promise with some dignity, knowing Ruben had probably broken his end of the bargain a long time ago. Nevertheless, a promise was a promise, she would never marry until Ruben asked for the ring back. After all, it did belong to his great great grandmother.

Ninjago Death
(I'm rewriting Ninjago here's the concept of death)
Have you ever wondered what happens after death? We no one really knows in Ninjago because it seems like everyone who dies comes back to life.
But here is what happens when people do die.
It's important to note that Day of the Departed is Novenber 3rd.
Day of the Departed is a holiday that you're supposed to spend with family and remember those who came before you. Unlike Dia los Muertos They cannot cross over, Unless a recent loved one has died.
When people die they become ghosts. The liveing is unable to see them, and they can not just control anything. They are just floating souls who get to see the what happens to their friends ans family after their death.
On day of the Departed any one who has died since the Day of the Departed the year before, will either be taken to one of two realms.
The Blessed realm and the Cursed realm.
Similar to the concept of Heaven and Hell where the good people go to the blessed realm, and bad people go to the cursed realm.
Good people are greated by their family to help them cross over into the Blessed realm while bad people are dragged in by the Preeminent into the Cursed realm.
Very few ghosts are able to possess people and objects. When they can it's because they were cursed.
Morro was cursed by the Preeminent. She wanted him to set her free into Ninjago so she put a curse in him.
Bansha, Soul Archer, Ghoultar were all summoned by Morro using a cursed chest plate. When he summoned them it put a temporary curse on them allowing them to fight with Morro.
Cole was cursed by Yang to take his spot but Cole got out before he had to take Yang's place.
When ghosts are cursed there is always a twist.
Morro's curse is that if he dies/gets hit by water he will not be able to go back to ninjago even with a curse.
Those who are brought over by the cursed chest plate will lose one of 3 senses. Sight, hearing, and touch.
Those who lose the sense of sight will only be able to see darkness. Other senses will stay the same, making it nearly impossible to get around anywhere.
Those who lose their sense of hearing will not be able to hear anything but deafening silence, that's worse than being deaf and will eventually drive them to insanity.
Ghost who lose their sense of touch will not be able to hold anything, And they will not be able to possess others.
These 3 were chosen to drive them into insanity, because once ghosts dies are not supposed to come back, This prevents some from staying too long.
When Cole gets cursed he gets cursed by Yang, Cole doesn't realize it but Yangs see everything that hes doing it can cause Cole to hallucinate, He doesn't do it until Day of Departed because he didn't want the others to think there was something wrong with Cole and try to fix it.
This is just an idea. I'll probly change it later. Ask me if there's anything else you want to know. I have a million ideas.

Chapter 1, Episode 9: Letter
Tumblr media
Dia: ...
It's been 2,000 years since the world was engulfed by the [Curse of Trance]...
According to the records from past to present, there has been only one way to get rid of it.
Use the Mana that appeared on the [Throne of Sagacity]. That's right... At least until they appeared.
Tuner... A fitting name. Without a need for us to fight over the Mana, it was given to us instead.
— This power is formidable beyond what has been expected. It has the strength to even purify a strong curse instantaneously.
... After we started confronting curses directly more often than before, we also have the opportunity to discover the hidden truth.
There's no way I won't take advantage of this current situation.
[Flip]
... I don't suppose that I could find helpful information from any of these documents. None of them recorded the existence of the Tuner and their purification power, so it can be concluded that they're indeed unheard of prior to the present time.
Also... I've read it over and over again but it's nothing more than irritating jokes. Not a single useful article related to the [Scarlet Calamity].
As I know, the information I seek isn't here.
... In the end, the key lies in that "spire". With this newfound power then it's probable...
It's most likely useless but I'll look over the document regarding "that" matter once more.
It was most certainly around this place...
There it is. It's this.
[slip]
... Mm?
This is...
Tumblr media
Queen: Congratulations on your birthday, Dia.
Dia: Thank you so much, Mother.
Queen: I'm still a bit awed. You were so small but you're already 12 now.
You've grown so well, Mother is happy for it.
Dia: Yes. I'll continue to strive diligently as a prince onwards.
Queen: Oh, silly Dia.
Dia: ??
Queen: You've already become a proper prince. However—
To me, you're always my beloved little Dia.
Thank you for being born into this world.
Dia: ... Please don't talk as if I'm still a child, Mother.
Queen: Fufufu, you're right. It just came out like that... I'm sorry.
Oh, right. Dia, I have something for you. Please come over here.
Dia: ... This is, a letter?
Queen: Yes. As commemoration of your 12th birthday... How about we read it together?
Dia: I-I will read it on my own. I'm not a child anymore.
Queen: Fufu, is that so? How reliable.
Please read it for sure. It's a promise... My beloved Dia.
Tumblr media
Dia: This letter... I thought it was burnt to ashes during the disaster, but I would never have thought that it's kept in this place.
I guess I could... read it, if it's now. Without looking away this time...
...
Tumblr media
Dia: ......
—"Wondering what kind of adult you'll become" huh...
... I think I've finally understood what it means for a curse to be able to be formed through love.
This is basically like a curse itself. I can... no longer become an adult.
... The blessed future that Mother wishes for will never arrive.
However after a thousand years of time have passed, this prayer-like wish continues to live on. Inside the memories... Inside this letter...
This noble wish that has stayed in this world, was trampled by the cruelty of reality over and over again too many times.
This is also... one way to create a curse.
... That day of my 12th Birthday—
Tumblr media
People trying to escape: Gyaaaaah!
Hot...! It's hot, help!
Mom! Mom where are you...!?
Why did the [Scarlet Wall] do this!?
There are people who have seen the Prince do something to the [Scarlet Wall]...!
So it's true that the Prince has gone crazy!? That's why he did that!?
Aah that's right, he wants to kill himself and brings the whole kingdom down with him!
It's the Prince's fault...! If that Prince doesn't exist...!
Noooooo! I don't want to die!!
I won't forgive... I'll never forgive you...!!
Tumblr media
Dia: ... The kingdom, the people too... Father and Mother, not a single one left after they were burnt to the ground.
... That's right, it's my fault. However... All of it has passed.
I won't turn away my eyes anymore. As a Devil that has lived long in this present time, there's one thing I should do—
[Knock Knock]
Dia: ...!

Belphie considering joining Lilith in the afterlife after realizing he has feelings for the absolute menace to devildom that raccoon!mc is. Is this some kind of joke? No. Just no. This is worse than his attempt at killing them. How did they even get a blessed crowbar? Who would even do that?
It's Luke. Luke did that and he's not sorry.
Lucifer knows this somehow Father's fault. He knows raccoon!mc is up to something but he just can't prove it. He can't even find them 90% of the time. How are they so good at hiding?
Barbatos would have ended this timeline already but he was specifically order by both Solomon and Diavolo to leave it alone. He thought that rats were bad - he's found mc randomly raiding the castle's fridge at 3am in morning and has no idea how they even broke in.
Did they panic when caught? No - prolonged aggressive eye contact while eating what they found. This human is broken.
The students of RAD have an ongoing betting pool on who's gonna break first out of the brothers. Lucifer and Belphie are tied for most likely to break down crying either out of rage or frustration.
Levi learned a long time ago if raccoon!mc is sleeping in his tub (how'd they break in?!) it's a lost cause. Just leave them there. On the flipside he can happily rant about games and anime to them and they never complain. Granted sometimes he swears that their brain goes into idle mode but they listen.
Satan lives for raccoon!mc chaos as long as it doesn't target him. He's stalking documenting mc's habits to prepare a guide for how to take care of your raccoon. He does swear that some of his books are missing but he can't prove it. Also sometimes new books show up that he never owned and he knows it's mc doing it but again no proof.
Beel has no idea how he's ended up as primary caretaker of raccoon!mc when that's supposed to be Mammon's job. He does appreciate them returning his brother to him. Just why did they give the reason of "wanting to watch the world burn" - what does that even mean? Has he had to pry MC off of the roof of the house before? Yes. Multiple times.
He's had to reassure his twin several times that it's perfectly normal if MC disappears for a few hours. Yes he's still worried but this is a twice weekly event. They'll show up eventually. Last time Mephistopheles ran an article about Devildom's local cryptid not realizing it was MC. Or he did and doesn't care because Lucifer looks like he wants to die and that makes them his favorite human in his book.
Belphie having an absolute panic attack over having a crush on raccoon!mc. Maybe being stuck in the attic wasn't so bad after all. But now even that isn't safe since raccoon!mc has taken that over too.
Luke giving raccoon!mc a crowbar just to be petty. If he can't do much damage to the demons, raccoon!mc with an enchanted crowbar will.
Raccoon!mc probably doesn't even have the brain cells capable of being up to something, but Luci swears by it anyways. It's the only way he can rationalize what's happening.
Barbs getting jumpscared at least once a week cause even he can't predict when mc will show up and raid his kitchen. But he can't do anything cause Solo and Dia are agents of chaos.
Lucifer has tried to shut down the betting pool, but it always pops back up somehow. Mammon is probably involved in some way. Half of the student body has contributed by now.
Raccoon!mc sleeping in Levi's bathtub and Levi just panicking for several minutes because they look so peaceful for once. How? Do they do that? And he swears they disassociate when he rants to them, but they always seem to remember what he says? Weird, but he'll take what he can get.
Mc just kind of leaving Satan alone cause they can sense he is a fellow agent of chaos. The most they'll do is steal a few books and then forget to return them after. But they apologize by giving him new ones he probably stole from Luci.
Beel finding mc clinging to the roof for dear life cause they got stuck doing Father knows what. He saves them and gets them back on the ground, and they just run off like nothing happened. Beel is concerned, but he's decided to just not say anything anymore.
Mephisto also being lowkey in love with mc purely just because of the stress they cause Luci on the daily. He runs so many stories about them just because he knows it pisses Luci off and gives Dia a laugh. But he's also afraid to meet mc in person for fear of his life.

Hey Andy, this is not Sky lol. So, remember that last week we had a huge conversation about Diavolo post GER and you were willing to do a series talking about That? So how about post-GER Diavolo with a baby? From birth to cohabitation, if that's not too much trouble
Nice attempt to hide your identity Vii, unfortunately I know who you are :)
Yeah I was thinking about something involving Diavolo post GER and this is a great way to start lol.

📕AU: Post-GER
⚠ Warning: Nothing
💬 Author’s Note: This took longer than expected to get ready (mainly because of the character edit, there are no good frames of Diavolo in the manga) but here it is!
Enjoy!
Click "read more" to become a mother of a baby and a 33 year old guy :)
Diavolo is in shock.
No matter how sweet his S/O is when talking to him, nothing will stop the meltdown this man will have when he gets the news: A baby... A son? He can't have a child, he's going to be a terrible father. He tried to kill his daughter.
There are many things running through his mind: love, uncertainty, anguish, even hatred and revulsion caused by the remnants of his schizoid disorder. For months, he won't have the courage to look at his S/O. The thought that there is a small parasitic worm growing inside your lover's womb, no matter how disgusting, doesn't let him touch her belly. He is afraid to rest his hand on his waist and feel the child move, feel the child alive.
However, the first time he feels safe was in the first contact with the baby, a healthy little girl, still in the maternity ward.
Seeing that body at rest in the crib caused him a little apathy, even anguish, but it lasted until he tried to move the child's hair and she instinctively grabbed his middle finger. Those warm little hands, so soft they felt like satin, clinging to him with the same desire he had to discover the world he'd just been born into, awoke something in the back of his head. He couldn't believe that fragile body in front of him was alive, that he'd helped create her.
The next few months are hectic: Dia doesn't even know how to hold a child and panics every time she does, as if her body was a small piece of glass that could crack at any slightest sudden movement. Over time, he figures out how to do things right (sometimes alone, at sheer insistence) and begins to help his S/O in stressful moments. He's not the best baby caretaker, but he's trying his hardest.
He is often more distracted by cartoons than the baby. Seeing him hold the child resting in his arms while staring at a Mickey Mouse animated short becomes more and more frequent. He didn't have much contact with TV when he was little and he can't help but find it fascinating how beautiful the animation is. This extends to shows with older audiences like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls.
It is also common to see him with his nose in the middle of the child's locks. He can't explain why, but the scent of children's products makes him feel a strange sense of comfort and peace. It's familiar, though the only time he's smelled it was on himself as a child.
No one has the right to touch the child. He will carry her around in his arms to and fro and cast a menacing look at anyone who dares to come near his little girl. God help his S/O feed the poor creature... Oh, sure, the baby too.
Diavolo sometimes finds himself thinking about Trish and what would have happened if he had accepted her as his daughter, but he quickly puts those thoughts out of his mind. One good thing that has remained within him is his belief in overcoming the past to have a good future: he doesn't hate Trish, he just knows he failed her and doesn't want to make the same mistakes that led him to hell. He sees his two girls as a fresh start and knows that doesn't mean he's going to change overnight, just, well, this time he's willing to change.
He was blessed with a reason to change.

1, 4, 6, 11, 21, 26 for Skeldon
1. Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
Skeldon doesn't have any siblings, and he hardly visits his parents that much after leaving and betting some of their valuables away for money... But he does have some cousins (who are around his age of 32 years old) that he meets up with sometimes, usually on Dia De Los Muertos, whenever he needs someone to talk to about his problems...
4. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
Skeldon used to be a gambler who would spend all of his cash away at the casino for even more cash, always drinking carelessly with other gamblers and constantly get blackouts at the roulette table... After he left his parent's home to live in an apartment near a casino, he later met someone during Dia De Los Muertos, a skeleton lady with red dress and hat with long dark blue hair... After they ran into each other and started of with small conversations, they've keep seeing each other since that day and eventually started dating each other even more... One day at the same place they've met, Skeldon then proposed to her with a diamond ring, which was the happiest moment for the both of them... Once his now fiancée learn about his gambling problem, she tells Skeldon to stop going to the casino and betting away their money, or else they'll end up broke and nothing to provide them with from the world... Skeldon then promised to not gamble anymore, to make his fiancée happy and well-supported with the money they have now... But one night when his rent was due and didn't had the cash to pay, he secretly went out at night bet away the diamond ring at the casino to in win back and to also win plenty of money for his rent and for his fiancée's needs, while also drinking a lot of alcohol along the way, thinking he was gonna with at the roulette table and have something to celebrate with... Unfortunately, after passing out and waking up from another blackout, he realized he has just lost both the bet and the ring he proposed to his fiancée...
Skeldon was devastated once she broke up with him for breaking his promise and their relationship because of this, and later left his evicted apartment where they use to live in... He stopped gambling since then went to a local bar (where he met Shawn, Impy and Hellen at) and tried drinking to forget about his past mistake, but it was something he could never take his mind off of... He isn't interested with being in any romantic relationship after that night and hates being flirted with by other women, since the lady he spent all his time with since the day they met was his one true love that he has caused to leave him behind...
The only people who know about this are Skeldon's cousins, and his ex-fiancée who left him heartbroken after betting away her blessed gift he gave her on the day of their anniversary...
6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
Skeldon sometimes have these dreams where he ended up winning the bet and coming back to his ex-fiancée with the ring he proposed to her and piles of cash for the both of them, to use the money to live in a better home for them and their families to stay, where they can be happy together as husband and wife... But whenever he wakes up, he finds himself passed out at the bar counter on a lonely night instead...
11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?
Skeldon has been most afraid when he has lost his ex-fiancée's diamond ring and all of the money he could've provided them with, having to face her head on back at his old apartment, knowing he had made the biggest mistake in his life that night of breaking his promise and his true love's heart...
21. If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?
Skeldon is quick to blame people who involve him and the others (Impy and Hellen) into something he wanted nothing to do with or be apart of- People like a certain Sheep Reporter and a Hourglass Gang... But if it was something that was personal like when his fiancée broke up with him, then he'll blame himself for causing his relationship with her to end and thinking he deserved it because off gambled her ring away to pay for something he couldn't at the time and gained nothing at the end of the night...
26. How does your character behave around children?
Skeldon isn't very fond of children, especially animal species like little pups barking and chewing on his bones, he finds them annoying and very irritating to be around... But for paranormal species such as a skeleton like him, he doesn't mind them being around, nor does he bother with them at all... While he once had a dream of raising a child with his ex-fiancée before the "ring incident", he doesn't want to be bothered and annoyed by some little rascals while trying do enjoy his drink to lower his stress, to which the children's screaming and yelling will only increase that stress even higher than it was before...
