IM SO GLAD YOU SAID THIS i also was wondering this... i think that even if he hadnt learned about Kaname, he still wouldve been involved with the idol scene. Thats what being related to the godfather + raised by priest to learn the art of disguise does to ya (priest who wanted to be godfather's true successor, insane enough to think he could achieve soul transferring, and killed his own child when he didnt need her anymore, after leaving her in an orphanage first. I really dont think he couldve had a normal life. If anything, what he's doing now is safer than alternatives he couldve done (cant think of many instances where one can use the art of disguise legally...well, not that identity theft as his brother is legal either, but yknow)
