#frankly if you're a fan of the novel frankenstein and you hate the character victor frankenstein i just don't understand #he certainly made bad choices but he's written pretty sympathetically. and more importantly he's self-aware #i feel like broadly speaking the preponderance of haters is due to those who haven't read the book and are going on popular knowledge of it #plus the people who take things too literally and act like the creature is canonically named adam #but seriously it's annoying to go into the notes of any frankenstein post and find people bashing the protagonist #while pretending the creature never did anything wrong in return. sorry! they were both wrong! it's a horror and a tragedy!#these are my hot literary takes i know they're unpopular #frankenstein #bri.txt
