"Maybe I just wanna save Ravenclaw the embarrassment of losing to us." Marlene shrugged her shoulders, flipping the page in the potions book to the next one. "Are you really tellin' me that we ain't gonna use this on anyone?" She eyed up her best friend, nose scrunched in displeasure.

‘‘Reckon anyone would notice if A’h poisoned the entire Ravenclaw Quidditch team?’‘ Marlene held up a vial over the cauldron at Alice, a grin on her face. It was a good plan if she said so herself, plus if the team was out for the count, then maybe James would stop making them get up so bloody early for practices for a little bit. @aliceabsolutely​

"You're gonnae make a killing with this, Ogden." Marlene put the bottle to her lips, dimple forming in one cheek as she gave him a lopsided smile. She enjoyed his company, she enjoyed that he was able to match her drinking pace. The only other person that tended to keep up with her was James, and well, drinking with James was different to drinking with people she wasn't basically related to. "You gonna take over the business after school?"

‘‘One of these days yae gonna hafta tell me what’s in this y’know.’‘ Marlene grinned at Tib, putting the bottle to her mouth again and taking a swig before handing it back to him. ‘’Secrets just end up driving great friends apart. And I’ll tell ye, I’m a great friend to have.’’ @tiberiusogden​
