Can’t say I blame you, pal! That question *was* difficult. To follow up — do you have a favorite book/author/genre?

Okay don't judge on this but I'm a sucker for paranormal romances, especially if they're a little bit cheesy. They're just really fun to read! I feel like if I name series or authors for that it'll get some side eyes but one of my fave series (I'm a bit behind) is the Mercy Thompson series.

I also like horror, like Jaws/The Meg/Jurassic Park are all really fun horror books and crazy different than their respective movies. Jaws books have a crazy mob and the wife cheats on their Brody! Reading Jaws at the beach was a trip 🤣

I also really enjoy the book Graceling and it's sequel called Fire. The Percy ajackson books + offshoots are always going to hold a place in my heart too!

I just started one called The Paleontologist by Luke Dumas and that seems like it'll be a fun quick read.

OH! And I picked up a signed copy of Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn at NYCC this year, he's such a sweetheart author omg! Man had me geeking out at his show booth LOL and next day I picked up an ARC for Reign of the Empire too!

I'll be honest I've read just under 100 books this year, most within the first two or so months, and my TBR is over 260 right now (not including fics) 😭 I read insanely fast

DESCRIPTION

The siblings were born and raised in Weaver Ridge. Despite not sharing the same father, they were all very close - which given their home situation, it only made sense. The mom (Sydney Doyle) was a teen herself when she started having them. She tried her best to give them a decent life, working multiple jobs at the same time and trying to find a suitable partner that could be a good father figure to them. However, she was not the best judge of character when it came to looking for a partner. She just wanted to give them the family they all deserved to have. Most of the children's father never stuck around long enough to be an active parent figure in their lives. The ones that stuck for a while, exposed them to heavy drinking, drugs and a very toxic - often times abusive environment. They had to protect each other, although mom tried her best to ensure no one ever laid a hand on her children. Sylvia being the oldest always took care of them, despite her disability. She was a second mom when their mom wasn't around. Her brothers were equally very protective of her.

While Sylvia focused on her education and trying to make it out of the hood, Simon and Scott started doing illegal activities very young to earn some money. Initially it was to help out mom so she wouldn't have to put up with more assholes. But it became a cycle that they couldn't escape and would often be in and out of jail. Scott would just be getting out of jail now. Stephen is a recovering addict that still lives at home with their mom in Weaver Ridge. Sadie also lives at home with mom as well. Being the youngest, she was less exposed to toxicity and was always protected by all her siblings. Sylvia has been a mother figure to her. Sadie career hops a lot, losing interest rather quickly in everything. They all have a complicated relationship with their mom, but as crazy and difficult as their lives have been, they're always there for each other.

Sylvia for the most part has been financially responsible for her family, bailing them out and helping them whenever they need her.

random update. started making edits for each of my families so i can both 1. see how well it works look wise and also because 2. i'd love to do some family-centred plots where partner's meet their person's siblings/parents/colleagues, etc etc because i love that sort of connection. in doing so, i'm changing a few fcs and editing things around and removing some muses that just don't fit anywhere and i don't have much muse for in the first place.

with that said, i'm going to take a break from that and start doing replies....but what i'd love is hayden christensen x hugh jackman as a ship. don't ask me why, it makes sense in my head. so if anyone would be up for that....

y a-t-il des archétypes de personnages que tu joues souvent? i'm a sucker for morally grey characters, c'est tellement plus intéressant à exploiter. j'adore construire des personnages baladés entre le bien et le mal, torturés. c'est mon dada 🤓

y a-t-il un livre ou un écrit autre qui t'as beaucoup influencé·e pour écrire? j'ai eu énormément de personnages tirés ou inspirés de livres donc difficile de les nommer tous. mais j'ai pensé en premier à la trilogie Millénium de Stieg Larsson, qui m'a beaucoup inspiré pour notre rp Carolyn/Sacha @iwantyoudeadsd !

une recommandation pour finir (livre, film, ou pourquoi pas un forum)? c'est horrible j'ai envie de recommander un milliard d'œuvres, mais je vais dire Peter Pan de J. M. Barrie, parce que c'est super bien écrit mais accessible à tous, court, vraiment drôle, et que c'est un classique !

 🐭 20f looking for 18+ roleplay partners 🐭  hey there c: ive recently come back from a hiatus, and most of my roleplays have died off, so, im back and im looking for more! before i dive into all my brain rot and current fixations, id like to say a little about myself c: im a full time university student, so my schedule is hectic as fuck, but i often find time to come online and chat. i also have the worst work schedule in human history so i try to keep my partners updated on my work schedule as well! and i do not ghost - i would appreciate it if you don't do the same. if at any time you feel the roleplay isn't where you'd like it to be, or you're simply uninterested anymore, just let me know! it won't cause any hard feelings on my end. im not too strict on replies, just please give me enough to work off of! i believe in quality over quantity. When it comes to pairings, my preferred pairings are mlm and mlw, with selective wlw.  i do wish to play the female lead in mlw due to how rusty i am at playing male leads. as of now, i am unable to double up. i know this is a deal breaker, but depending on how many roleplays i begin, i want to be able to timely respond without the stress of extra long replies. i am so sorry </3 when it comes to smut, please be comfortable with it. i do not fade to black, i am sorry! smut won't happen every five seconds, but it will happen! now for the fun stuff - below are the super vague and shitty ideas that i have. these can be further developed privately!!

- i recently succumbed to the game of thrones universe, and im begging for something royal-centered. I think it could be super cool to maybe do a royal x mistress/paramour. i love the angst that could come with our characters sneaking around, hooking up in secret places, and having to hide their true intentions and feelings from those around them, as well as the fear that could come with getting caught! if infidelity plots aren't your thing, i would also love something a bit more cliche, perhaps an enemies-to-lovers situation. maybe an arranged marriage plot where they start out hating each other, but eventually begin to love one another. 

- zombie apocalypse brain rot!!! literally will always be down for an apocalypse roleplay. the simplicity is *chefs kiss* 

- vampires <3 love them. i have this idea that involves a super bitchy vampire lady who ends up falling in love with a super goofy himbo boy. im a sucker for cliche tropes, especially black cat x golden retriever types. this is very bare bones, but get me excited and i can totally come up with something!!! 

- alright here's the hella weird request that'll get me nowhere BUT HEAR ME OUT- im like, so deep into the hayden christensen verse than i am on my knees begging for someone to be willing to use him as a fc. idgaf about the plot ( i do but i also don't ) in return, ill use whoever you want as a fc!! this wont be doubled, but ill try to make it as even as possible that way we can both enjoy the roleplay!
