/)w(\ hehehehe soon! I'll use this ask as my excuse to update everyone again actually, now that it's 2025 holy hell that year went by so fast didn't it!

I took a break from requests to relax, but as it turns out, just because I wasn't writing requests didn't mean I wasn't very actively writing Light the Fuse and working on gifts for friends, as well as finishing all the art I posted, so I didn't do much relaxing at all outside of the week my brother was visiting for christmas 😖 I honestly wanted to finish up everything early so I could post something for christmas like I did for halloween, but it just wasn't in the cards last year, maybe this year though!

Churning out 100k in less than a month (with two jobs and my weekly chapter deadline leading the charge) is exceedingly draining so I finally hit that wall, once I stopped writing last week it's been hard to get back into it, so instead I'm working on an animation I started before new years (another thing I couldn't finish on time), as well as playing some games I've been putting off, catching up on shows I haven't sat down to watch yet, and just getting that good good sleep 😌

I do want to finish up LtF fast and take an actual break between that and starting up my version of Reprisal season 2, since I need to go through all my notes and create a proper timeline before starting this time. I never finished my notes for ep9-10 when I started the fic so ep10 still isn't fully plotted and I can't write without it, I'll miss loads of ideas and dialogue I've thought up over the past 9 months otherwise and it'll just delay things more with me going back and forth and adding things like I'm still occasionally doing with F / U now that the plot is so far along and I have a much better grasp on them and their world. Like I said on ao3, I'll be updating the entire series before s2 starts as well because so much was corrected and adjusted, this fic is always on my mind, and I'm thankful to everyone who's read/is reading it over there as well as my readers over here ❤️💙💛

After that, while I'm working on the plans so I don't run into this type of delay again, I'll focus purely on requests and getting all of them out to my lovely wonderful amazing readers who asked for them 😊 I never wanted to end the year with my queue still full, nevermind the fact that I didn't get to 19 of them since I got stuck in my angsty sad LtF vs sexy happy smut Johnson mental battle. So, since I won't have to deal with fitting in the canon scenes anymore and it should be roughly 20 chapters depending on how things turn out, I'll be able to sit back and work on requests as well as my chapters while I'm at work, and things should move a lot smoother, like how it was when I did F / U since it was all me.

That was my main thing last year, since I needed the episodes to be open for actions and dialogue I couldn't work on my chapters at work when I was more in the mood to do LtF than a request, so now that I'll be able to do both I think I'll end up feeling a bit more free and less tied down to 'requests need to happen at work because chapters can only happen at home, it's the only way I can finish both on time'.

To summarize, the Simon smut is coming soon lol I've been very excited about that one personally since I love him and the prompt is very nice hehe I don't know exactly when I'll get back into the groove, since I have to finish the plans and the last (probably) three chapters for LtF, but it'll definitely be sometime soon. I miss working on the random ideas you guys give me, they're always so much fun and lets me give love to so many different characters 🥰
