Casually musing how to spin Murphy's canon guilt and even apologizing to manifestation of Napier's corpse, because to me it does not make any sense for him to feel guilt how or why he killed the guy responsible.

Murphy calculated it, executed with cold demeanor. When he was in trial for Coleridge's murder he was canonically framed for, he in my mind already took full responsibility of killing Napier, calmly just explaining how and why.

He does not, in my mind feel remorse for anything other than proving people he was dangerous, for commiting a sin - I hc him as Catholic, to not being able to stop Coleridge's death.
