I feel like I’m gonna get raked over the coals for this but can I just say that “lesbian necromancers in space” is a really bad description of what these books are actually about.

#the locked tomb series #if i were to try to distill what these books are actually like i would say that they're mysteries #gideon is a pretty straightforward locked room murder mystery once the plot gets going #harrow is a more esoteric mystery about the perception of reality and how and why it's been altered #and nona is a mystery of identity like you read that title and your first question is 'but who is nona?'#and yes lesbians necromancy and space are all big elements of the series but i think it does kind of a disservice #to gloss over what makes these books so narratively interesting!#gideon the ninth #harrow the ninth #nona the ninth
