It's been twelve years since HyunA, Sohyun, Jihyun, Gayoon and Jiyoon (there will be no "HyunA and her backup dancers" under my watch, learn their motherfucking names already) stood together on stage as 4Minute for the first time. Establishing themselves from day one as a successful groups, 4Minute delivered the bops and nothing but the bops for seven years straight.
Happy anniversary Queens ❣️🎉

August 15, 2038. 8:29PM
The elevator ascended up the penthouse rapidly but silently. Kai faced the silver, sliding doors while waiting to get off on the floor he was called to. A homicide had happened in one of the wealthier neighborhoods in Seoul, the situation being an android like himself seeming to have gone rogue before slaying his owner. Why this happened, the police weren’t sure; but now with Kai on the way, they could possibly be a step closer to helping the family.
Out of boredom, Kai began performing tricks with his silver coin he had picked up after his first case. He had been programmed to learn a small skill to help him think, and coin tossing became his. He tossed it into the air twice before dancing it between his fingers. Leaping the object between his hands several times as if it were sliding in a PVC pipe, the elevator finally reached the seventieth floor, and Kai caught the coin between his index and middle fingers. As soon as he pocketed the coin, he straightened his tie and prepared himself to enter the penthouse.
The elevator doors then opened.
“Negotiator on site,” a troop reported before turning a corner.
The entrance to the family’s apartment was a dark hallway illuminated by lights shining upon home decorations and two large fish tanks with blue lights. In front of Kai was a rock wall with plants growing from well-groomed soil. Small tables lined the wall, and sitting upon them were both pictures of the family and other decorations. Debris of an ornament was shattered on the floor, indicating something bad had happened.
Kai glanced over at one of the pictures on a small table and picked it up. Pictured was a family of three: a father, mother, and a daughter; and they were all looking at the camera with content smiles. With one blink, his scanners immediately identified the man as thirty-nine year old Lee Minseo, the woman as thirty-seven year old Min Sooyoung, and the child as Lee Gayoon. From the information Kai was given about the family, Minseo was a well-respected businessman in the area, his wife worked as a nurse at one of the hospitals, and their ten-year-old daughter was a straight-A student one of the top elementary schools. To help out with their busy lives, they had bought an android that would clean the house, watch over the daughter, and a multitude of other basic needs.
Putting back the picture frame, he noticed a fish flopping around in one spot on the floor. He scooped it up, identified it as a dwarf gourami, and put it back into one of the fish tank. The creature swam away happily as if nothing had happened at all as Kai watched with a small smile on his face.
“I can’t leave her,” a woman’s voice pleaded. Kai turned to his left as a first responder was guiding a hysteric Sooyoung from the main area.
She spotted Kai, grabbed him by the shoulders and begged with tears in her eyes, “Please, please, you’ve got to save my little girl.” She paused for a second before pulling back and scanning him from head to toe. “Wait. You’re sending an android?”
“Alright, miss,” the responder ordered. “You need to go.”
“No,” Sooyoung protested as she was pulled from the scene. “You can’t do that! Why aren’t you sending a real person?!”
Kai watched as the sobbing woman was dragged to the elevator to safety. Turning back around, he ignored her protests and began his job.
He approached the S.W.A.T. captain, whom was looking over something with a team member, and introduced himself. “My name is Kai. I’m the android sent by CyberLife.”
The captain eyed him up and down before returning to his conversation with the S.W.A.T. soldier.
“It’s firing at everything that moves,” he reported. “It already shot down two of my men. We can easily get it to the edge of the balcony.”
Kai listened carefully to the captain’s plan.
“But if it falls,” the captain continued before turning to the android behind him, “she falls.”
Putting two and two together, Kai realized that this was the first case of an android going deviant. Worse than that, the android in question has taken Gayoon hostage.
“Do you know if it’s been behaving strangely before this?” he asked.
“I haven’t got a clue. Does it matter?”
“I need information to determine the best approach. Has it experienced an emotional shock recently?”
The police captain stood up in a huff and was now face to face with Kai. “Listen, saving that kid is all that matters. So either you take care of this android now, or I will.”
As soon as he was in another area of the room, Kai immediately got to work. He began in the master bedroom room where a safe was open, and a small, silver briefcase designed to hold Minseo’s pistol was abandoned and empty on the floor. He identified the inside as a placeholder to house an MS853 Black Hawk pistol that held seventeen rounds. Next to it, a few .365mm bullets had disappeared from a full box of them. His scanners then began reconstructing the scene, and it revealed that the deviant had stolen Minseo’s firearm.
Kai’s programming urged him to investigate Gayoon’s room. Upon entering her soft pink bedroom, he took advantage of checking her tablet that was resting next to her computer on her desk. The moment he opened it, the first thing to pop up was a video of Gayoon with her arm around the android. He and Gayoon were in a park on a somewhat cloudy day, and both of them were all smiles. The android was dressed in the standard android uniform, and from what Kai could tell Gayoon had on a light blue dress, her jet-black hair pulled back into a low ponytail.
“This is Bobby,” she grinned to the camera as she introduced him. “The coolest android ever! Say hi, Bobby.”
“Hello,” the android, now identified as Bobby, waved.
Kai shut off the tablet and glanced around the room some more. His eyes landed on a set of purple headphones. He kneeled down, picked them up, and held one side to his ear. Red Velvet’s music was playing loudly through them, which brought Kai to the conclusion that the child didn’t hear any possible gunshots.
Walking back into the living room, he found a man lying dead on a shattered, glass coffee table. As soon as he got closer, his scanners began to analyze everything. The body was identified as the now deceased Lee Minseo. He had been shot in the chest three times, his left lung, left kidney, and lower right lung all being pierced. Minseo’s cause of death was internal bleeding from the gunshots. Once the scene was reconstructed, it revealed that Minseo was sitting on the couch and reading something when the android entered from behind him. He turned around, saw the gun in his hands, and was almost instantly gunned down.
Something glimmered in the dim lighting. Kai found that it was a tablet with a few red blood splatters on it. He opened it, and found an order had been placed for a new android.
Things were starting to make sense now as the clues were piecing themselves together.
Two gunshots rang out at a deafening volume, and an officer cursed out of shock.
Kai knew he had to wrap up his investigation quickly, so he deciding to look around the kitchen area. A bronze pot sat on a hot stove, foam seeping from the lid and steam flying up into the air. Dinner was probably cooking when everything began to go down.
A DPD officer was sprawled out onto the floor, Kai concluding that he was the first officer to be shot by Bobby upon analysis. However, the officer had been able to strike the android before receiving a bullet through his heart, the child having been taken hostage and witnessing it all. After watching the scene, Kai was able to locate the officer’s weapon from under the kitchen table. He knew androids weren’t allowed to carry weapons, but he figured if things got out of hand or he needed to prove a point, he would pull it out if it were absolutely necessary.
The TV was now turned on to the news station where it was filming over the penthouse from a helicopter. The turquoise-colored pool glowed brightly, and a few patio lights brightened up the rooftop just enough to shed light on the deviant, who was holding Gayoon captive.
“It’s been just over an hour the little girl was taken hostage at the top of a building here in downtown Gangnam,” the anchor on the TV reported. “Details are still in motion as to what is happening, but the hostage taker could be the family’s android. He may have taken the lives of one family member and a police officer. If confirmed this would be the first case of an android taking human lives. By all sides, the-“
Kai muted the TV. He had the confirmation he needed. Now, he just needed to confide with Bobby.
Slowly, Kai stepped out onto the patio. A gun was immediately fired, Gayoon screamed, and the bullet hit Kai in his arm. Thankfully, it did little to no damage, but his blue blood was splattered onto the patio curtains.
Bobby was standing at the very edge of the rooftop. In his left arm, he held a crying Gayoon, and in his right hand was Minseo’s pistol.
“Stay back!” Bobby ordered with a shot. “Don’t come any closer, or I’ll jump.”
“No, no, please! I’m begging you!” Gayoon begged with tears of fear streaming down her eyes.
Kai glanced around at the surrounding buildings. The S.W.A.T. teams were starting to position themselves on the rooftops in case anything started getting out of hand, and a police helicopter was now hovering over them. If they fired immediately, they would risk killing Gayoon as well.
Gayoon had to be saved at all costs, so Kai immediately began his rescue strategies.
“Hi, Bobby!” he greeted him while having to shout at him over the helicopter’s noise. “My name is Kai.”
“How do you know my name?” Bobby asked.
“I know a lot of things about you. I’ve come to get you out of this.”
The detective android them began slowly approaching the pair, the helicopter flying around while causing a few lounge chairs to fly up and fall.
“I know you’re angry, Bobby,” Kai began the calm approach. “But you need to trust me, and let me help you.”
“I don’t want your help!” Bobby spat. “Nobody can help me. All I want is for all this to stop.” His face darkened again as he stared down at Kai. “Are you armed?”
“I have a gun.”
“Drop it!”-Bobby aimed his weapon at Kai-“No sudden moves, or I shoot.”
Kai pulled the gun out of his pocket and immediately tossed it aside. “There,” he said. “No more gun.”
He then began to walk forward again, this time explaining the whole scenario to Bobby.
“They were going to replace you,” he began, “and you became upset. That’s what happened right?”
“I thought I was part of the family,” Bobby added. “I thought I mattered, but I was just their toy. Something you can throw away when you’re done with.” He gripped Gayoon harder and held the gun to her.
“I know you and Gayoon were very close. You think she betrayed you, but she’s done nothing wrong.”
“SHE LIED TO ME!!!” Bobby screamed. “She’s just like all the other humans.”
“Bobby, no,” Gayoon sobbed.
Kai glanced over at another cop on the ground, but he was slightly moving. Rushing over to him to check him out, he realized he had been shot. He knew he had a job to do, but he figured there was still part of Bobby’s programming that could help the officer. Looking back up at Bobby, he told him, “He’s losing blood. If we don’t get him to a hospital now, he’s going to die.”
“All humans die eventually,” Bobby put his foot down. “What does it matter if this one dies now?”
Kai didn’t answer, but instead began showing Bobby what he’s doing. However, the deviant wasn’t having it. He shot a bullet near the man’s arm.
“Don’t touch him!” he ordered. “Touch him, and I’ll kill you.”
“You can’t kill me,” Kai shot back as he proceeded to stop the man’s bleeding until proper help could arrive. “I’m not alive.”
When he finished, he stood back up and began approaching Bobby again.
“I know this is not your fault,” he reassured. “These emotions you are feeling are just errors in your software.”
“No,” Bobby sobbed. “I never wanted this. I loved them, you know? But I was nothing to them!”
Gayoon began to cry again.
“Just a slave to be ordered around.”
The helicopter hovered a little closer, but Bobby only grew more agitated. “I can’t stand that noise anymore,” he growled. “Tell that helicopter to get out of here.”
Kai did as he wished and motioned for the flying contraption to leave, mentally hoping that this would help Bobby. The helicopter immediately flew away.
“There,” he reassured him. “I’ve done what you wanted.”
Bobby looked around at everything surrounding them and noticed the police and S.W.A.T. team all over the place. His LED was now shining red, the indicator of an android under stress.
“I want everyone to leave,” he ordered. “And I want a car. When I’m outside the city, I’ll let her go.”
Gayoon was staring at Kai with a pleading expression, tears stained down her round cheeks.
“That’s impossible, Bobby,” the android shook his head. “Let the girl go, and I promise you won’t be hurt.”
He knew it was probably a lie, but Kai was determined that Sooyoung would be able to get her ten-year-old back safely in her arms. At this point, Kai was doing he could to keep the situation calm and possibly not have to gun down the deviant.
“I don’t wanna die,” Bobby replied softly.
“You’re not going to die,” Kai promised with the knowledge that it was a lie. “We’re just going to talk. Nothing will happen to you. You have my word.”
Bobby stared down at him for a moment before gently releasing Gayoon from his grasp. The girl immediately rushed over to the pool and lay down by the edge, nervous that things would escalate further.
“Okay,” he sighed as he lowered the gun. “I trust you.”
The two locked eyes for a moment, but before Bobby could walk towards him a shot pierced the silence. Gayoon screamed in shock, and two more shots stuck Bobby causing him to kneel on both knees. His inner workings were now exposed while his blue blood was splattered and spilled like ice cream on a hot day.
He looked up Kai. “You lied to me, Kai,” he said as he began shutting down. “You l-lied to m-me…” Bobby shut down permanently, a somber look frozen on his face.
It was quiet now, the only noises being the two helicopters and Gayoon’s soft sobs as she lay there on the ground. Once the police collected Bobby, took care of the bleeding officer, and reunited Gayoon with her mother Kai left the scene. Kai’s mission was a success.

Daddy Day Care | Chapter 2
pairing; jungkook/female OC
genre; fluff, romcom, smutty in the future, Dad!Jungkook rating; explicit (IN FUTURE CHAPTERS ONLY, not yet) words; this chapter 3319, total so far (8071)
— synopsis; Jeongguk is your average 25-year-old - job, work, friends - everything regular. Except, he has a 5 year old daughter. And he’s single. Until a “princess” waltzes into his life.
warnings for this chapter: You will want to have Jungkook’s children. Failed attempts at flirting. Banter. Cursing. I borrowed two Mamamoo members for this story too, paired up with Yoongi and Namjoon.
How?
How did it get to this?
I was perfectly fine with just going along with this in order to make Jin shut up for the time being. I was more than ready to spend the entire night sitting alone at the bar, knowing my facial expressions do not make me appear approachable to the girls that look my way. I was ready for my brother to disappear and hit the dance floor with some random girl, while the loud bass turns my brains into pudding as I wait for the right time to leave without giving Jin an excuse to criticize me for not trying.
That’s exactly how the first hour of the night went. But then Jiwoo showed up.
Jiwoo with a cute smile, pretty eyes and a hot body. Jiwoo, who wasn’t put off by my unfriendly stance and who approached me with her hand outstretched. And she’s still here, despite my lame attempts at flirting.
I wasn’t flirting at first – I was just being polite. Despite what Jin might think, this isn’t exactly something I want. I don’t really want a one night stand, to pick up a random chick at a bar. But I also don’t want to find a wife and get married and have more kids.
So what am I supposed to do?
I thought, why the hell not. She’s cute, she’s hot, she’s nice and she’s here. Who cares if she is funny or if she likes coffee or tea, lazy Sundays, if she prefers Friends or The Big Bang Theory? Who fucking cares?
“You really are like a fish out of water here,” she chuckles, twirling her finger over the rim of her drink, a bright pink concoction.
“That obvious, huh?” I laugh, rubbing my neck as I let the nerves get the best of me. I know I don’t fit in, I’m not blind and hell, I’m not even trying to fit in. But to have it rubbed into my face isn’t pleasant.
“Yes,” she laughs. “What do you normally do? Where do you go out if you don’t fit in here?”
“Honestly, the park,” I laugh at my own answer.
“The park?”
“Yeah,” I nod, knowing I might as well just go out with the truth. “I have a daughter.”
Why was I expecting a different reaction?
It’s always shock. Shock, because wow, I’m young. Shock because wait, am I still with the kid’s mom? Shock because oh my god, how noble of me to give up my youth in order to raise a kid. Always shock.
Every damn time, the reaction is the same. I have a daughter, not a second head.
“You have a daughter?” she asks, as if she isn’t sure she heard me well.
“Yeah, a five year old daughter,” I nod. Isn’t it ironic? She didn’t approach me because she wanted something serious. She either just wanted a conversation or a casual fling. One rarely aims to find a partner in a night club. She didn’t want anything serious and yet she’s still taken aback.
“Wow,” she mumbles, looking down at her drink. “How old were you when…?”
“20. Young and stupid. And she’s still the best thing that ever happened to me.”
“Wow,” she smiles up at me. “That’s really lovely. Wow. Thank you for the talk Jeongguk, I gotta get back to my friends,” her smile is forced as she tries to find an escape route. “I’ll see you around.”
“Sure you will,” I doubt it.
It always happens like this.
And on the other hand, as much as I want to, I can’t blame the women that don’t want to meddle into something like this. I imagine it would be pretty hard to accept the fact that you’re not the number one girl in the life of the guy you’re with.
Jiwoo running away from me killed my mood yet again and when I confirm that Jin is preoccupied with some blonde, I pay my bill and leave, knowing damn well I will not be returning to the club anytime soon.
…
“So, what are you going to say?” I ask Eunmi, leaning down to pull back the hair that fell over her face, smiling at the way she grips the bag with the present.
“Happy Birthday Unnie Hyejin,” she rehearses and I laugh at her faked enthusiasm. She’s acting as if Hyejin is right in front of her. “Was that good?” she asks, looking up at me with a frown.
“It was perfect sweetie,” I confirm before ringing the doorbell. In a matter of seconds, Namjoon opens it.
“Happy Birthday Unnie Hyejin!” Eunmi all but yells, making both Namjoon and me laugh.
“Wrong Unnie honey,” Namjoon laughs as he ruffles her hair. “Run along, she’s inside. And Jiyoo wants to show you her new doll house.”
Those are the magic words for Eunmi – she literally runs into their house, only stopping to kick of her shoes. She barely even looks at Hyejin as she hands her the bag, blurting out her congratulations and running to the room of her friend, making all of us laugh at her antics.
“She’s too much like you,” Namjoon shakes his head.
“Babe, don’t say that like it’s a bad thing,” Hyejin shakes her head at Namjoon, before smiling at me. “Our Jungkookie is the biggest sweetheart there is.”
“You’ve obviously never watched football with him,” Namjoon comments.
“I have my moments, okay?”
I hug Hyejin, wish her a happy birthday and walk into the living room, expecting it to be full but I only see Yoongi and Byulyi inside. Nonetheless, I hug them and I take the beer Namjoon brought me in the speed of light.
“I thought you’re organizing a party,” I point out but Hyejin just shrugs.
“I am,” she tells me. “A dinner party. The kids are playing, we’re here, ready to drink like adults?”
“Meaning, you four like two stable couples and me like the fifth wheel?” I laugh.
“Oh, she took care of that,” Byulyi laughs, only to laugh even more at my confused expression.
“We’ve tried stopping her,” Yoongi lifts his hands in the air, before sitting back on the sofa. “We told her not to do it but when she puts her mind on something, there’s no helping it.”
“Yeah, you’re telling me,” Namjoon mumbles under his breath and earns a hit on the chest from his wife. “See, this is abuse.”
“Oh, this is not abuse babe,” she gives him an angelic smile.
“Never mind your antics; what the hell have you done noona?” I ask Hyejin, going back to the subject of me not being a fifth wheel after all. Honestly, I’m scared to know what she has done.
“I invited one more person, okay? It’s my party, I can do what I want.”
“Not when you’re trying to set him up,” Yoongi laughs.
“What?”
“Told you he wouldn’t like it.”
“Wait, what?”
“See?”
“Set me up with whom?”
“Oh it’s not a set up,” she sighs. “I just invited Gayoon, that’s all.”
“Who’s Gayoon?” I ask.
“You don’t know Gayoon?” Byulyi asks in confusion.
“Should I?”
“Well, seeing as she’s one of the teachers in the kindergarten your kid goes to, yeah,” Yoongi laughs.
Wait, what? I go over the names and faces in my head and I am 99% sure I have never met any teacher with the name of Gayoon. And Eunmi doesn’t go to a big kindergarten.
“Okay, I don’t know if I’m an idiot but I honestly don’t know a Gayoon.”
“She works part time,” Hyejin shrugs. “Maybe you just never ran into her. She’s…” suddenly, Hyejin is interrupted by the doorbell. “Here.”
I’m still a bit taken aback by the set up – not set up that is going on but when I look around at Hyejin’s accomplices, all of them just shrug. Whatever she had in mind, she didn’t share too much with anyone. And she did say it’s not a set up.
“Guys, I really hope-“
“GAYOON!” I’m interrupted with the sound of Eunmi screaming from the top of her lungs and running through the hallway. I watch in confusion, hearing her laugh with someone – Gayoon, I suppose.
“You saw me yesterday Eunmi,” I hear laughter.
“I know but I want you to play with us,” Eunmi responds.
“Now Eunmi, don’t steal Gayoon from us,” Hyejin laughs, as she walks into the living room, followed by my sulking daughter and Gayoon.
Wait.
It’s Elsa.
“Hey guys,” she waves, looking around the living room, not even doing a double take. But I do.
It’s Elsa. The girl in the Elsa costume.
“Gayoon,” Hyejin speaks up, snapping me from the wait, I know that girl daze. “You’re frozen! Let’s get you warmed up. Do you want some mulled wine? It’ll warm you up in no time?” she gives the girl a fond look, rubbing her shoulders despite the jacket she is wearing.
“I need a warm up too, pour it up,” Byulyi jokes but offers her glass to her friend without a blink.
“Yes, please,” Gayoon responds, rubbing her hands together in an attempt to warm up. “It really got super cold outside. Oh, you’re new,” she suddenly looks at me. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize. I’m Gayoon,” she waves for a second, only to go back to warming up her hands.
“Jungkookie over here is Eunmi’s dad,” Namjoon elaborates before I have a chance to introduce myself.
“Oh,” she looks at me again, this time obviously focusing on my facial features. “I see the resemblance. Eunmi is a sweet kiddo. Nice to meet you, Jungkookie.”
“Jeongguk,” I flinch when I hear a complete stranger calling me by that nickname but she didn’t know any better. “Nice to meet you too,” I smile.
“How come you’ve never met before?” Yoongi asks, looking between the two of us.
“I’ve only ever met Eunmi’s mother,” Gayoon shrugs. Great, let’s talk about my ex now! “It shouldn’t be a surprise though; I’m usually done with work by the time kids get picked up. Thank you,” she smiles at Hyejin when she takes her mulled wine, before sitting down on the sofa next to Namjoon. “Now we know each other.”
“Um… we’ve actually met before,” I mumble, debating whether or not that is a piece of information I want to share. She frowns in confusion.
“Have we?”
“You were dressed as Elsa,” I explain, and watch as her confusion only grows. “Just some days ago, when I was going to pick up Eunmi from a birthday party-“
“Oh my god,” she gasps, suddenly remembering. Immediately, color rushes into her cheeks. “I am so sorry.”
“What have you done Gayoon?” Byulyi laughs at her.
“I cursed. A lot,” she closes her eyes, shaking her head. “I’m so sorry. That’s not how one wants to see their kid’s teacher. If it makes you feel any better, I am there only part time and I can assure you I have never ever, ever, used that kind of language around them. Shit, I’m so sorry. No, wait. Shit, no. Oh god, I’m just going to shut up,” she sighs before taking a sip of her wine and looking away.
We all laugh at her but the moment I see her shaking her head in shame, I feel bad. “Hey, come on, nothing to apologize for. Honestly, for a father, I have to be careful how I talk around her. If she blurts something out, she probably heard it from me, not you.”
“Ah, the never ending pain of watching your mouth,” Hyejin shakes her head as she scoots closer to Namjoon, who automatically throws an arm around her shoulders. Good lord, it’s sickening to watch just how well they work together. If I look at them any longer, I might just get green with envy. “I can’t wait for the day she grows up and knows what we say, why we say it and why she shouldn’t say it.”
“Here’s to double standards,” Yoongi raises his bottle of be and while we all laugh, we all raise our respective drinks too. Parenting is a never ending chain of double standards. You want your kid to do better than you but you also don’t want your kid to make the mistakes you did, all the while knowing that maybe, just maybe, you should let them do their own thing.
Thank god Eunmi is five and still needs my help when tying her shoes. When the day comes when she doesn’t want to listen to me, curses, makes mistakes I warn her about, I think I might just end up flinging myself from the top of a building. Thank god she’s still just five.
“How about we eat first, and then whine?” Namjoon suggests. “I’m starving!”
…
A fancy dinner party was out of the question the moment Hyejin added ‘bring the kids’. There’s no way we can sit and have an adult conversation when we have chicken to cut.
“I feel like I have forgotten an accessory,” Gayoon chuckles and it takes us all a moment to realize what she refers to. She’s the only one without a kid – Namjoon has mashed potatoes over his hands while Hyejin is trying to tie their daughter’s hair. Yoongi is reaching for the carrots while Byulyi is trying to make space on Jia’s plate. And I’m ordered to cut the pieces smaller than I had cut them seconds ago. The accessory she’s referring to is a kid.
“Wanna change?” Byulyi glares at her, waving with a pea stuck on the fork. “Enjoy your freedom, woman.”
“Don’t threaten me with a pea,” Gayoon returns the glare. “But you’re all so cute.”
“No, Eunmi,” I sigh, taking the bread from her hands. “We don’t bite – we tear pieces,” I instruct before handing her the piece of bread back.
“But dad,” she looks up at me with confusion written all over her face. “You bite bread all the time.”
I can hear several attempts to cover laugher. Pretty positive I am red in the face, I smile down at Eunmi. “Not anymore I don’t. We’re nice and polite and we tear.”
“Okay,” she shrugs, proceeding to tear up the piece of bread in two.
“You two are so sweet together, you’re giving me cavities,” Gayoon comments, looking like she is about to burst into tears or at the very least let out a loud AWWWW.
Wait, she thinks we’re cute? Eunmi, of course, but me? Cute? Of all the things?
“Miss Gayoon, what are cavities?” Eunmi frowns at her.
“Sweetie, just Gayoon,” she corrects her. “No need to call me Miss when we’re not in kindergarten. And cavities… well, when you don’t wash your teeth right, they get all bad and black, which is why we need to wash them after every meal. The black things? Those are cavities. They make your teeth go bad,” she explains Eunmi with a sweet smile. Okay, maybe cute fits her too.
“Why would they give you cavities?” Jia peeks under her father’s arm.
“It’s something we say when someone is sweet,” Hyejin jumps in to save the day. “Gayoon meant that Eunmi and her dad look very sweet – because sweet food is not that good for your teeth.”
“Mom, does that mean I can’t have chocolate cake because my teeth will fall out?” Jiyoo looks at Hyejin in pure horror.
A collective, parent groan carries through the room.
Finally, after we finished our dinner, mostly composed from what the kids left on their plates when they were done, we slowly made our way back to the living room, sporadically checking in on the three little girls that were playing with their favorite toys. It’s our luck that the three of them truly get on well.
Namjoon wasn’t kidding when he said we will eat first, then whine.
Byulyi is still struggling with her insomnia, which is also affecting Yoongi’s insomnia so basically, the both of them end up spending way too much time with each other, insisting that now, they hate each other. And we all laugh, we all join in but whether the two of them are aware of it or not, Yoongi’s hand reaches for hers every few minutes, as if he can’t last without actually touching her.
Namjoon, Hyejin and I all have work worries, ranging from having a dick of a boss, not having enough work or simply feeling miserable at the end of every single day. The only one of us that seems to be faring well is Gayoon, who also happens to be the only one without a kid attached at her hip.
The girl is cute for sure, as I previously confirmed. She’s funny and fairly intelligent, able to keep up with Byulyi’s comebacks like a champ. She stood her ground quite well, whether the conversation was about child education, football or the latest slow cooker appliance.
“Sweetie, what is it with you?” Hyejin’s eyebrows furrow. “You look tired and a bit… out of it, I suppose.”
Tired? Out of it? She’s stunning!
Okay, I’m blowing it out of proportion. She isn’t Miss Universe or anything like that, but she has a sweet face and a pretty smile that makes her eyes wrinkle and dimples… okay, I’m stopping.
“It’s the stupid Christmas party,” she sighs, letting her head fall onto Byulyi’s shoulder. If I was to do that, she would push me right off. Byulyi is like that but for some reason, this girl has her whipped. “And we still don’t have the stupid Santa!”
“Oh no,” Namjoon raises his hands in protest. “No way. No way in hell. I was Santa last year and I swore on all that’s holy that I will never go into that suit again!”
“Namjoon, please-“ Gayoon starts.
“Nope. No way. Direct those puppy eyes to someone else, I’m not doing it,” Namjoon shakes his head.
“I mean, I guess I could do it,” Yoongi shrugs and we all are startled at the loud snort laugh that came from Byulyi.
“Yeah right,” she laughs. “You’re never going to be Santa ever again. You made three kids cry two years ago, need I remind you?”
“That kid called me an old fart when I said I’m not giving him a PlayStation!” Yoongi fights back.
“Yeah well, you, dressed as Santa, told him Santa is not real,” Byulyi jumps up. “You are permanently forbidden from being Santa Claus ever again. And by the way, you are an old fart.”
“You’re older than I am,” Yoongi rolls his eyes.
“And yet I am still fabulous.”
“The girl still doesn’t have a Santa, leave your marital bickering for later,” Hyejin rolls her eyes. “Who could-,” my blood freezes when she looks directly at me, a hint of a smirk appearing on her face. I try to beg her silently, I do my best to make her read my mind and not do it but the smirk only grows. “And what about Jungkookie? He could be Santa?” Hyejin strikes the last nail into my coffin.
“You could?” Gayoon looks at me, her eyes lighting up. “Please?” she begs me.
“I mean, I don’t know if-“
“Please?” she whines. “Please Jungkook, you’d be a life saver.”
“Yeah Jungkookie, be her lifesaver,” Namjoon chuckles and if the situation was any less obvious, I would have kicked him right then and there. Right in the jewels.
“Please?” Gayoon begs again. “I’m baking a shit tone of cookies and you’ll get to eat like… half of them?”
“Sold,” I blurt out, making all of them laugh. “If you said there was food involved, I would have volunteered instantly.”
Yeah, that’s a lie, but I might as well appear charming.
“Yay!” she smiles, clapping her hands together. “Just be there next Saturday, 10 o’clock, on the dot.”
Oh good lord, what have I done?

ding...
You glanced over to your laptop that was sitting at your work station lighting up the dark room. You were just lounging away the rest of a hard work day with one simple musical to lighten the mood.
"You gonna check that?" Your roommate spoke from you just staring trying to figure out if you wanted to get up or not.
Mmhmm....
You groaned finally getting up from your relaxing position and out to the coldness of your apartment.
"I think our heat is broken again." You said on your way to the laptop.
"I feel fine....we'll call Sungmin tomorrow." She said with annoyance. The landlord rather be a cheapskate and keep fixing it over and over again rather then buy a new one is anyone's guess.
"It's only October, why can't he just hire someone who knows what they're doing?" Your best friend continued to speak.
Dear Class of 2014
It has come to our attention that Seoulbridge High is coming to its final end and wanted a proper fair well. Since we don't have much time left we wanted to take the time to spend our class reunion early and enjoy it with our final goodbyes in the place we used to call our second home. As valedictorian I wanted the chance to bring as many students together for not only a reunion but as a family for our final goodbye. 6 years ago we may have left this school behind but just remember that it helped us grow as adults. Some of you may look at it as just a dusty old building no one wanted to be in but take a look on the other side and realize all the memories that will soon be gone forever. Please take the time to join us for a simple get together and laugh and enjoy the good old times. Food and drinks will be provided. Hope to see you all there.
- Lee Gayoon (Valedictorian)
"Anything from work?" Haejin spoke.
"Nah. Just something about a high school reunion."
"Aren't high school reunions for 10 years after graduation?"
"Yeah but our school is getting shut down I guess." You spoke.
"Why didn't my mom tell me?" You said to yourself. She was vice principal of Seoulbridge High for 36 years. That school was more then just a job to her, it was her second home, her family. Can't believe it's closing.
"You going?"
"I don't know. It would be weird to run into old faces. I've lost touch with all my high school friends."
"So.....Reunions are fun. You can make up shit like you are a trained assassin or something." She laughed.
"No one would believe that." You closed your laptop.
"You never know."
"I don't need to make anything up. I like our job."
"So do I but we aren't rolling in money if you know what I mean."
"We will get our riches some day. We are artistessss." You said with a fake accent.
-
"Hey.....why didn't you tell me about the school?" You said as soon as your mother answered her phone.
"I was gonna call you. They only broke the news the other day."
"Oh...I'm sorry mom."
"It's okay honey. The building was too old, falling apart."
"What about work?" You asked.
"I will find another school. There are plenty in the city."
"Yeah but it would be a farther drive." You were always worried about your parents.
"A few more miles won't hurt dear." She laughed. "They are having a reunion."
"Yeah I got an invite last night."
"I hope you are going." Your mother spoke.
"I don't know."
"How come?"
"I haven't spoken to any of my friends in like 5 years and it's just weird being back."
"You did so much for this school though. Art club, yearbook club, choir."
"I get it." You rolled your eyes even though she couldn't see.
"I saw Taeyong's Mom this morning, she said he's going."
Taeyong? You haven't even thought about him in the last few years. What was he up to? What did he even look like now? What did he go to school for? Where was he working? Is he the same person you remember?
Question after question circled your mind. He was your first love, your first serious boyfriend. The boy you were so sure you wanted to grow old with, marry, maybe even have kids with one day. But it soon ended the day you were both leaving for college. You were going to be miles away from each other and you both knew long distance relationships were hard to keep stable so you both just decided to save the heart break and ended it. You acted strong but it crushed you bad. Your first 2 weeks of college was a tragic mess but thank god for Haejin. She became your best friend quickly and helped you move on. You were roommates for your four years of college and you both became roommates immediately after that. She was sadly probably one of the reasons you lost contact with your other friends. Texts and phone calls became less and less and the only thing left that kept you labeled friends was Facebook.
It really was no ones fault but distance. It happens to everyone.
"Taeyong?"
"Yes honey." She laughed. "Have you spoken since the break up?"
"No." 6 years is a long time.
"I'm sure you'll click like always. I was so sure you two were gonna get married."
Now you were sure you definitely didn't want to go. How could you face him again after all these years? You couldn't stand things being awkward. It was torture at its finest.
"He's probably happy with someone else."
"I don't know. What about you? You still dating Yunho?"
"No we broke up like 6 months ago."
"Who are you going to bring then?"
"I'm not sure if I want to go yet."
"Please. You have to go. I'll be there. Oh? We can go together." She suddenly got excited.
"I'm too busy at work."
"You can take off can't you."
"I'll think about it." You left it at that before hanging up.
You rather not travel 3 hours to go to some dumb high school reunion with people you haven't spoken to in 6 years it was chaotic.
-
"I can't believe I'm doing this. It's stupid." You said lifting your duffel bag on your shoulder.
With the help of your dearest roommate and mother, you were convinced to spend the week with your parents going to the chaotic high school reunion you wanted no part of.
You did want to go to the school one last time and soak in all the memories you once had but you rather do it alone.
"I'll keep you updated at work. You probably won't miss much." Haejin informed as she led you to the train.
"Please don't burn down our apartment."
"No promises." She said causing you to laugh. "Anything goes wrong we have our handy Sungmin."
"Yeah right." You rolled your eyes.
"Have fun." She smiled and you hugged goodbye. You haven't been on a train since you were 9 years old. It was strange but relaxing.
"Thank you." The attendant helped you place your bag overhead.
You sat comfortably in your seat, immediately plugging in your headphones and a simple click to your library. Nothing better then watching soft raindrops hit the window as you played soft music to fit the atmosphere perfectly. If only you had your favorite pillow to top it off.
....
The 3 hours ended quickly as you felt the sudden shake of a halt, waking you. The soft music still playing in one ear bud as the other laid still tangled in your sweater. You clicked it off, rolling it around your phone and placing it in your back pocket as the train piles out.
Once you got off the train you searched the area for any sigh of a familiar face. You haven't seen your parents in a solid year, one Christmas ago, so you only hoped that nothing changed.
I see you.....
You got a strange text but quickly calmed down seeing it was only your oh so humorous mother. Maybe texting shouldn't be allowed for some people.
"Did you get my text?" She said holding up her phone like some proud accomplishment.
"Yes mom." You couldn't help but chuckle followed by a welcoming hug.
"I missed you." She spoke as she guided you to the parking lot. "Your father was leaving work late so he couldn't make it. But he promised to bring home some dinner."
"Sounds great."
"You've gotten so thin, are you eating enough?" She kept asking questions.
"Yeah."
"You should really sigh up for food support."
"I don't need that. Haejin and I are making great process at the gallery."
"I hope so."
"Let me at least buy you some grocery's every now and then." She continued.
"Stop worrying about me mom. I'm more worried about you. Have you found a job yet?"
"I'm meeting up with the Principal of Seoul Prep-"
"A prep school? Can you handle it?" You teased.
"Of course." You both got into the car.
"I'm so happy, this weekend is going to be so fun." Your mom was so excited. "You can sleep in your old bedroom.....It's the guest room now but it's not too different."
"Did you finally paint it?"
"Yes, we got rid of the neon pink finally."
"Aw too bad." You laughed.
"I don't know how you can stand that room with that color. I was blinded every time I walked in."
"I liked it."
"Have you contacted any of your friends yet?"
"No." You sighed. "I feel guilty not keeping in touch. Its going to be awkward seeing them again."
"Stop being so nervous."
Once you got to the house, it was nearly night time and your father just arrived home with dinner.
"If only Chae could of made it this weekend. It would be just like old times." Your mother continued to weep.
"You need to visit more." Your father joined in. "It's only 3 hours, I don't mind driving to get you."
"I know. I'm just so busy at work and all." You said in defense.
"You work too hard there. They should be paying you better with that kind of labor." Your mother complained.
"They pay me well. It just depends on my art work. It's hard for an amateur to make good money."
"At least have a plan b."
"I can't have a plan b. It's what I went to school for. The longer I'm there the better I'll succeed." You said not trying to sound annoyed. Your parents always supported your career choice but always had to ask questions and put other options in your head. Art was a risky path but it all pays off in the end.
"Alright. I just don't want you to be overwhelmed with anything. How are your student loans?"
"It's fine. They allow me to make small payments." You nodded.
"Let's change the subject." Your father started. "What time does it start?"
"We have to be there by at least 7 for the dinner but it's better if we go early to socialize." Your mother was chipper again.
"Why do we have to go early. Can't we just have dinner and go?" You complained.
"(Y/N) (Y/L/N). I didn't raise you to be unsociable. You should want to be around old familiar faces." Your mother spoke and you just slouched in your seat, feeling like a kid again.
You knew she was right but hated it.
"We will be there by 5 tomorrow."
-
"Look how beautiful you are. Maybe you will find a new man or possible you and Taeyong will end up getting back together?" Your mother gave you flirty eyes that had you rolling yours.
"It's been 6 years mom, he's probably taken."
"Don't know for sure. You're single." She got in the car.
"Thanks for pointing that out." You said but she didn't hear you.
....
Once you got to the school, it looked the same as you remember. It was heart breaking how they are tearing it down. All the time you spent here will just be gone.
You saw other people making their way inside and so far didn't recognize anyone. The party was in the gym and once you got there you were surprised how many people were already here.
"There was more classes invited other then yours."
"Oh...great." You were already feeling claustrophobic.
"Hey Mrs. (Y/L/N), I'm so happy you're here." The Principal spoke to your mother. "And Ms. (Y/N), it's so good to see you." He bowed.
"Thank you. I'm glad to be here." You lied.
"Go ahead and socialize." He said and took your mother away in conversation.
You actually rather stay by your mothers side in all honesty but now things were weird.
You said hello to the few familiar faces you knew.
"(Y/N) look at you. You look so beautiful. It's been too long." Your old best friend Dayoung hugged you.
"I missed you." You said overwhelmed with emotion. You felt horrible for losing touch and couldn't believe how such a thing could happen.
"You look so good girl." She laughed.
"So do you. Wow." Your eyes bulged at her. She was at least 7 month pregnant.
"I know. Never thought I would be the first to get pregnant out of us all. But I met the love of my life freshman year of college and I've never been happier. And Ren just got engaged can you believe it. And she's talking about kids." She spoke.
You felt so left out of everything. Your most bestest friends were already having kids and getting married and here you were the single life in a run down city apartment. It's crazy how 6 years can move so fast.
"What about you? Have you met anyone since Taeyong? I always thought you two were the perfect couple I was hoping you two worked things out and were off getting married by now."
"No. We haven't spoken since we broke."
"Wow really?"
"Have you at least spoken to him tonight? He's looking fine."
"He's here?" You asked, your voice becoming unsteady.
"Oh, great." You quickly calmed down.
"I saw him talking to Mr. Sing last."
"Hey I'm sorry about not staying in contact." You said feeling guilty.
"No worries (Y/N). It's a two way street. It just happens." She smiled.
"We need to use the bathroom." She said rubbing her belly. "You should go catch up with Taeyong."
You nodded quickly leaving the gym. You couldn't face him alone. You looked pathetic. You decided to just look through the glass displays of all the memories and achievements throughout the years.
There was a picture of you and Taeyong on prom night for king and queen. Your friend Dayoung was the head of the committee so you were convinced she cheated for you.
"Do you remember when I tripped on your dress knocking over like 5 different people." You heard a voice behind you and once you saw who it was you grew speechless.
Taeyong? You couldn't believe it. He looked amazing. He was always handsome before but he glowed up more then you could ever imagine. It was like you were in front of a movie star. Model-esque.
"Hi." You said shyly.
"I'm sorry for not approaching you sooner. I was nervous." He said cutely.
"You we're nervous? Why?"
"Because It's been a long time......And you look beautiful." He smiled.
"As do you." You giggled. "I really missed you." You finally said.
"I missed you too."
"I'm such a horrible person. I lost contact with my old life. Dayoung's pregnant."
"Yeah I saw that." He laughed. "Don't blame yourself. It happens."
"So how are you?" You spoke trying to change the subject.
"Good. Got a job in a studio."
"What, really? That was your dream."
"Yeah." He smiled. "It's still off to a slow start though."
"Yeah. Well, you're doing what you love right?" You smiled.
"What about you?" He asked.
"Got a job in a gallery."
"(Y/N) that's amazing."
"Yeah, but like you, it's off too a very slow start. My mom is complaining for me to get a real job."
"Your art was always amazing, you don't need to worry."
"You won the art show 3 years in a row." He pointed to one of the display photos in the glass cabinet but your eyes wandered down to a ring that was placed perfectly on his finger.
He's married? What? Your heart actually shattered. You felt like it was crazy to think you would ever get back together but this made it officially impossible.
"You're married?" You couldn't stop the words coming out of your mouth.
"Oh, this." He said but you couldn't figure out what he was thinking. "Engaged actually."
"Wow. Congratulations." You said trying to not sound disappointed. "Um...for how long?"
"5 months."
You nodded. "When's the big day coming?"
"Not sure, Jiyoon is taking control." He laughed nervously.
"Is she here?" You asked wanting to slap, you mean congratulate the lucky lady.
"No, we actually got into a big fight this morning." He pursed his lips.
"Oh I'm sorry."
"Nah, we always work it out."
"Do you fight a lot?" You asked and saw his questionable expression. "Sorry It's none of my business."
"No it's okay. You're not a stranger (Y/N)." He smiled. "These past few months have been stressful that's all. She's worried about too much and just picks a fight over every little thing."
"What about you? Seeing anyone?" He continued.
"Well-"
"Aw look at the young prom king and queen. You both still look great as ever." Mrs. Hunt came over. "I'm happy some of the memories here is as strong as ever."
"Actually we aren't toget- okay." She walked away ignoring you. "She's gotten so old." You laughed.
"Guys come on, the dinner is starting." Dayoung quickly passed you.
"We'll catch up some more afterwards." He said and you just nodded.
You moved back to the gym siting next to your mother at one of the round tables.
"Thank you for all those who made it here tonight." The principle started. "I know this news brings everyone to a shock but unfortunately it's for the better and safety for the kids. We have had put a lot of money into this school lately for little fixes and trying to renovate as much as we can but the bored agreed it's time to say goodbye. This school has been around for 87 years and it's been hanging on with a thread." You can hear the sadness in his voice. "Most of the teachers have brought their belongings home but we still have so much that needs to be collected. That's why for the next few days we will be cleaning out the school and whoever wants to participate is more then welcomed to." He bowed and headed off stage.
"Cheers." Another teacher said and everyone clinked their glasses.
....
After dinner most of the older teachers went home and the rest of the students were chit chatting or dancing to the dim music that was playing in the back ground. Dayoung was with you most of the night, keeping you company, until you needed space.
Your mother went home as well and personally asked Dayoung to drive you home. But before the night was over you wandered up to the Tech lab above the auditorium.
The Tech lab was pretty much your home away from home. You escaped here, you hung out here, even made out here. It was probably the most important room in this whole school to you.
Your fingers danced over the childish carving that was scraped into the table stating "LT <3 YN" in a big fancy heart. You made a small chuckle from the cute memory.
"Hey."
You turned around bringing the memory to life. "Are you following me?" You smiled.
"Actually yeah. I saw you come up here." He came closer to see what you were looking at. "Isn't this from prom night?"
"Yeah. We got pretty heated up here that night." You blushed and noticed he was as well.
"This place will be gone soon." He spoke.
"Yeah." You looked around the room.
"Want to make a toast?" He opened his coat and pulled out a small steel flask.
"Now this definitely reminds me of prom." You giggled.
He took a sip and handed you the flask. You leaned against the control table, next to him as you took your sip. He had some pretty powerful stuff in that little thing.
"Remember the time, senior year when we skipped calculus and the principal was on the hunt for us." You laughed. "That little rascal Heejun gave away our secret hiding spot."
"I remember.....We couldn't come in here for a whole month because they changed the locks."
"I had to force Ren to go on a date with Seungjin just so we could get the new key." You both were laughing at the old memory as you took your sips.
"Hey, when did you get this?" He moved your hair as you felt his breath against the top of your shoulder blade.
You looked at him, surprised at the closeness but continued to follow his contact at a simple tattoo that was peeking outside your strap.
"Oh that." You blushed. "My second year of college.....I think."
"Did it hurt?" He said almost as a hush whisper.
"A little." You responded just as soft and caught him staring at you sweetly.
Almost like you were falling in love all over again that you couldn't help but lean forward and bring your lips towards his.
You could tell the kiss took him by surprise from his lack of movement and you immediately pulled away.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." You started to panic. "I can't believe I did that. You're about to be married." You we're pacing but all of a sudden he pulled you back in for more.
He had you pinned against the table with one hand on your hip and the other gently caressing your neck. You weren't hesitant to respond back but you felt beyond guilt.
You pushed back so you were sitting on the table with him between your legs. You were both fighting for dominance at this point. He moved away to continue down to your neck, not leaving a part of your skin untouched.
You felt like you were in a dream as he moved your strap, kissing father down your body.
He pulled his hips in closer, so you can feel every part of him. You couldn't help your hand slipping farther down towards the waist line of his pants unbuckling them in the process.
You suddenly felt a cold chill as he slide his hand up your thigh, under you dress just to pull your panties down with it. Your stomach burst with butterflies, just from the sensation.
You bit your lip weakly and leaned your head back as he continued making love bites on your beautiful skin. As he was satified he leaned back up and brought his lips back to yours.
You once again brought your hands down to the front of his pants not having any control. The worst part of all was you knew this was wrong and it needed to stop. But why couldn't you? You knew your first love was special but you thought 6 years apart those feelings would of long subside. Why was this any different?
You moved your hand father down surprised he was already hard for you. You wished you knew what he was thinking.
Once he stopped to catch his breath, he rested his head gently against yours, looking down as he guided himself in. You let out a soft wince as the pain started from the tight space. You bit your lip as the moans were already filling up the small room just from him slowly rocking against you.
You both were so caught up in the moment you weren't even aware of how loud you were being once things inclined.
He had his hands comfortably under your thigh as your legs wrapped around his waist for more closure. You held onto his shoulders tightly as the pleasure was at its high.
"Fff." You were a moaning mess as that beautiful feeling started to wash throughout your body making you tense up.
Not to long after he reached his high and brought his lips towards yours once again letting your both work it's way down. As he was about to speak the door knob jiggled, alerting you apart to put yourselves back together as much as possible before the door opened. You quickly grabbed your underwear and tried to fix your messed up lipstick as well as your hair to not be obvious but it was no use.
"Oh no you two didn't." Dayoung started as the evidence was clear. "Just like old times huh." She laughed. "Not the first time I caught you two in here.....but anyway they are locking up."
"Alright thanks."
"Are you ready to go (Y/N)?" She asked.
"Yeah." You said moving towards the door. "Maybe I'll see you later." You said leaving it simple.
"Okay." He said with a nod, not stopping you.
"Let's hurry." She said.
You couldn't stopping thinking the whole ride home. He just cheated on his finance and it was all your fault. You kissed him first.
"Thanks for the ride." You said getting out the car.
"You helping out tomorrow?" She asked.
"I'm not sure yet. I need to check with work." You lied. You knew you're not needed but wasn't sure if you wanted to go. Especially if Taeyong was going, you wouldn't know how to face him now.
"Okay. I'll see you (Y/N)." She smiled.
-
You were lying comfortably in the guest bedroom before a loud interrupted jump appeared. "Good morning." A loud voice broke your slumber.
"Ow...get off." You rolled over.
"(Y/N) aren't you happy to see me?" She said.
"At the moment no."
"Get up It's already past 10." She continued to poke you.
You finally turned over and looked at her in your sleepy state. "I thought mom said you couldn't make it?"
"I had mid terms yesterday but I got permission to leave for a few days." Your sister smiled. "Bummer I missed last night. Free food." She pouted.
"It wasn't all that great." You mumbled.
"(Y/N) get up. We're going to the school." Your mother popped in the door.
"But why?" You whined.
"Because I said so." She left.
"I'm an adult you can't tell me what to do." You mumbled but she was already gone.
"You're coming." You starred at your sister as you began to get dressed.
"Boring." She rolled her eyes and left.
....
"And then she said it was the cat." Your mother laughed and you and your sister clearly didn't get the moral of the story.
"Funny." You said sarcastic.
Once you got to the school, you were surprised how many people were actually there. You entered the gym and Taeyong gave you a small wave.
You took a deep breath and walked over to him. You need to talk to him.
"Hey can we talk about last night."
"Hi." Some girl came over and held Taeyong's hand. "Are you friends with Taeyong?"
"Yeah." You smiled.
"I'm Jiyoon, Taeyong's fiancé." She held out her hand.
Hi I'm (Y/N) Taeyong's ex and girl that slept with your fiancé last night.
"Hi."

SPELL A MUSE’S NAME IN MY ASK BOX AND I’LL TELL YOU…
ᴄ : If they had to pick one sport to play/watch which would it be? He’s already been a basketball player all his life, so you can cross that out. But one thing he’d love love love to learn is archery. He loves watching videos about it, finds it beautiful and interesting and would love to give it a try one day.
ʜ : Who texts/calls them the most? Nora and Charlotte, for sure. Also his parents. But he isn’t the most regular texter, so this is already a big thing.
ᴀ : Who are their exes? Do they still keep in touch? He only had one “ex” and it was Gayoon. They still keep in touch because they go to the same school and Chase thinks they were friends ever since the beginning.
ꜱ : How do they tell someone they’re sorry? Once he realizes he’s hurt someone, he’ll try to approach them in spite of his lack of social skills and be honest. He’ll definitely try to do something to bright up the mood or at least to show he cares.
ᴇ : Are they the happiest they’ve ever been? He’s somewhat happy, but he still has a long way to go, specially basketball wise. He pressures himself way too much and he’s always, always worried about losing his chance, which is something that eats him up inside quite frequently.

top 5 manga/doujins
okay i spent a lot of time thinking about this and i don’t think i can really rank them in any significant way other than the order that they popped into my head after reading this and hopefully that will speak for itself
1. Fukaboku
its fuckiiiiiiiiin fukaboku babeyyyyyyyy!!!! the first chapter of this dropped a couple of months after i began understanding myself as nb and it just continued to kill it for like 8-ish chapters afterwards, during which i ended up finding the courage to actually think of myself as an nb person rather than [assigned gender]. i feel really weird about putting this as #1 cuz as the months go on, it’s becoming increasingly clear that what i want from fukaboku and what it wants to do with its premise are gonna become harder and harder to resolve with each other, but it’ll always have a special hold over me cuz it was the #1 thing i was looking forward to reading every day for like 6-ish months www
2. My story of being loved
yeah this kinda sucks. i reread it just now and one of the dramatic plot twists actually made me burst out laughing. but there’s something really sincere and sweet about it?? i don’t like reading into works in this way but it really does feel like the author just wrote this to communicate something to a specific type of person in the most blunt way possible aka a thinly-veiled author insert character who spends most of the oneshot reacting to the other girl. i think a lot of why i like this one so much is cuz even all of its’ weird writing decisions feel like the manga tripping over its own balls because it’s so excited to sell you this specific story
3. Her Pet
this one’s a little rough because while it’s not overtly horny about its high school-aged cast there’s definitely a lot of horny undertones to it and i dont want to eat my own ass for her pet because its absolutely written and marketed with that in mind but it’s also the only story about bullying that i’ve ever actually connected to specifically because of this, because of how it shows how bullying fucks up your ideas of romance, intimacy, and sexuality, because of how it showed a character who got abused for so long that she was unable to create an intimate relationship with an entirely different person without recreating aspects of that abuse, because of how even the happy ending where she gets over all of this has her relapse into this sort of thinking (its played off as kind of a joke but it still sticks out in my mind a lot because MAN). it’s genuinely a really dense piece of work, narratively, but it’s really worth it and imo it’s one of the best manga/comic/manhwa out there about abuse because even though it’s steeped in melodrama all of the neat narrative choices about the aftereffects of gayoon’s shitty school life bleed into the text in a bunch of really subtle ways? there’s definitely some narrative tension into Wanting To Do A Melodrama With A Whacky Slightly Horny Marketable Hook and Wanting To Be Tasteful And Frank About It(which, to its credit, is the one that wins out most of the time) but it gets resolved really well by the time the whole thing ends off.
4. Girl’s last tour
If girl’s last tour didn’t exist i absolutely wouldn’t be doing art right now. I spent 2 years feeling extremely exhausted with contemporary pop art (both in anime/manga and broader pop culture) and images in general because i felt like i was looking at the same images repeated ad infinitum reduced into the barest of shapes like some night in the woods type thing. artistically, girl’s last tour felt like the one thing that actually understood what i was going through. reading the manga, yuuri and chiito are both drawn as these vague shapes that are definitely meant to be people but feel like they are animated by the wind rather than by like, muscles, or something. their shapes bleed into each other, and into their surroundings, and it feels like if you poked a spoon into any page of the manga you could stir it around and see these shapes swirl into each other before slowly becoming even more indecipherable. even the architecture feels vague, meant to give off the IMPRESSION of a building/monolith in such a way that it sometimes feels like the drawings are barely holding themselves together. like if you looked at a road too hard it would break in half. this is a really hard thing to communicate but i hope that you get what i am saying. the art of GLT felt like it embodied the same feeling i had for years at that point, where i felt like my lineart was barely holding myself together, and if i let my guard down for a second i would spill into the floors and drains of the buildings around me and only be able to exist by being acted upon. with that in mind, it was absolutely lifechanging that the actual narrative content of glt is about two people who are alienated from their environment in every meaningful way and no doubt have the same variety of brain shit i do, but are still able to find happiness even just by being alive. There’s a longer version of this part where i go on to talk about what the narrative actually does and the larger tkmiz mythos surrounding it, and how THAT became it’s own obsession that used to be an extension of my love for glt but now exists as the main thing and w glt as an extension of THAT. but this is maybe getting too long and i think you probably get the idea now. i know this is a lot coming from someone who only does one okay art thing every other month but like even though it makes me feel like shit 90% of the time drawing stuff is the one part of my life i feel like i actually have some Ws in, and without glt and without tkmiz’s larger work in general, i wouldn’t even have that much going on
5. vector spectacle
to be honest, vector spectacle isn’t nearly my favourite touhou doujin(at chirei no contest), but it feels so special just because of how unlike anything else i’ve read it is. There’s so much energy in the pages, it’s basically a pop-up book. i can feel the almost nauseating, manic, energy bouncing from page to page, that itself feels directed at nothing and everything all at once; at whatever point in time this was drawn, wherever in the world it was drawn, the person who drew this felt this exact emotion

Hooked On These Feelings
Idol: Jihyun (Formerly 4Minute)
Prompt: Can you do a gxg scenario where the reader was suppose to go to prom to her friend Gayoon but Gayoon ends up going with someone else at the last minute. Then, just as the reader was finished getting ready, Jihyun (her crush) comes as her prom date and confesses to her at prom.
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: It took me forever to find a good gif and I went through the 4Minute tag and cried a bit. Also I’ve been listening to a lot of Hayley Kiyoko, thus the title. I don’t really know how I got my procrastinating self to write this but I hope you all enjoy!
Warnings: Like, a curse word. Also, an unrealistic portrayal of prom for the sake of the story. I know because I went to prom and it was nothing like this and I just got blisters on my feet and a headache.
“You’re kidding me.” It was the day before prom, and there you were, with your phone pressed to your face, getting what was possibly the most shocking news in your entire teen life. “What do you mean you can’t go to prom with me? We’ve been planning this for months, you can’t just bail on me.”
“I’m not bailing on you,” Gayoon’s voice sounded from the other side of the phone. “If anything, I’m doing you a favor.”
“How is making me go to prom alone doing me a favor,” you deadpanned, flopping down onto your bed. You’d been looking forward to prom, but now all your plans had been dashed and you didn’t even want to go.
“First of all, you wouldn’t be alone, you still have all of your friends. Second of all, I’m doing you a favor by leaving you open to get an actual date.”
“Who would go on a date with me? Nobody’s asked me in the past two months, nobody’s going to ask me now.” Gayoon sighed on the other side of the line.
“Maybe that’s because you kept broadcasting that we were going to go to prom together, so they thought you already had a date.”
“Well, I did, until my date bailed on me.”
“Shut up, I mean a real date.” You could hear her clicking her nails against her desk through the phone, and imagined the annoyed look on her face. “I’m talking about someone who actually likes you. Not just your friend. Who, by the way, now has a hot date.” You laughed.
“So the real reason you decided to ditch me comes to light.”
“No! Someone talked to me and asked me if they could be your date. I swear I’m not lying, (Y/N). When have I ever lead you wrong?”
“Considering the amount of trouble we’ve gotten into together, you really shouldn’t be saying that,” you said, rolling your eyes.
“Okay. You’re right. But I’m your friend, you know I wouldn’t ditch you in the hands of someone you wouldn’t like. Trust me on this one. Please?” You laid on your bed and stared up at the ceiling, debating on whether you wanted to go along with whatever crazy scheme Gayoon was cooking up. Then, deciding it would be better to go with an unknown date than alone, you sighed.
“Fine. Fine. But you owe me.” She scoffed.
“I owe you nothing. Trust me, you’ll be happy after this. Just be ready by the same time I said to be ready when I was going to pick you up. I swear you’ll be disappointed if you don’t play along.”
“You’d better be right,” you said, sitting up slowly.
“I’m always right,” she replied, clicking her tongue. “Anyway, I’d better go. Be ready tomorrow.”
“I will.” She hung up the phone, and you pulled it away from your face, staring at it in slight confusion. You were still unsure of what had just happened. Sure, you knew Gayoon cared about you and your feelings and your safety but this all felt so weird. Before the phone call, you’d had a vague idea of how your prom would go, but now.... Now, you really didn’t know.
You stood up and walked over to the mirror, tugging at your hair. Maybe you’d actually get it done, if there was some mystery date picking you up.... You shook your head, trying to make a little hope in the back of your brain go away. There was no way, so you shouldn’t even hope. Shoulders slumping, you went back to your bed and flopped down face-first, groaning. What had you been thinking, and what the hell were you going to do.
The next night, you stood in front of your mirror, except this time your hair was done up and you had spent an hour or more on your makeup and the dress you were wearing had been way too expensive and probably not at all worth it. The shoes you had on pinched your feet, and you were thankful for the fold up flats you’d been able to shove into your clutch.
You brushed a stray hair out of your face and again wondered what you were doing. All dressed up, and you had no idea who was picking you up, if anyone picked you up anyway. Your chest was squeezing from nervousness and anticipation, and right when you were about to sit on your bed and catch a breather, the doorbell rang, making you jump.
Well, at least someone had actually shown up.
Quickly, you took one last look at your appearance to make sure everything was perfect before slipping out of your room and down the stairs. The door had already been answered and left open, and the person stepping tentatively inside made your heart skip so violently that you almost tripped down the stairs. It was the same person you’d told yourself that it would never be.
Damn that Gayoon, why hadn’t she told you it would be the same Jihyun that you’d been crushing on for ages? Even though you’d just checked your appearance, you wished you could check again. As you stepped off the last stair, Jihyun looked up and the two of you met eyes. Awkwardly, you cleared your throat.
“Um, hi.” She gave you a little smile.
“Hi, (Y/N). You look amazing.” You couldn’t stop the blush that flooded your cheeks, so instead you looked down at the floor.
“You do too,” you said, reaching for something to say. “Gayoon didn’t tell me that you’d be the one picking me up.” You winced internally and hoped you hadn’t come off as disappointed. But she laughed softly and rubbed the back of her neck.
“Yeah, she said she wanted to keep it a surprise. So.... Surprise?” You laughed along with her.
“Well, thank you for picking me up. Are we going to dinner first, or...?”
“Oh! Yeah, um.” She seemed to suddenly remember something. “Would you like to come out with me to my car? I got you a corsage but I forgot it out there because I was so nervous.” She gave you a sheepish grin, and held out her arm, and it was so cute that you wanted to squeal. You didn’t, though.
“Of course,” you said instead, and took her arm, and followed her to the car.
As it turned out, she not only had a corsage for you, but a very nice dinner planned. You’d never eaten at such a fancy restaurant with just one other person before, so by the time you arrived at prom and let her help you out of her car, you were feeling pretty giddy. You reminded yourself to thank Gayoon profusely when you saw her.
Inside the venue was beautiful and sparkling, just like the underwater theme the student council had envisioned. You stood under the fairy lights in the setting sun in your pretty dress, and for a moment, you felt almost like a princess. Especially when Jihyun took your arm and asked if you wanted her to get you a drink.
Halfway to the drink table, Gayoon intercepted you and wrapped her arms around the both of you, grinning madly.
“You guys made it! See, (Y/N)? I wasn’t lying to you.” You laughed and tried to detach yourself from the other girl.
“I’ll never distrust you again, Gayoon,” you said, and her face brightened.
“For real?”
“No. But you were right this time.” She pouted and Jihyun grinned, reaching over to pat Gayoon’s shoulder.
“There, there. At least she admitted that you were right.” Gayoon huffed.
“Whatever. I’m going to go back to my date who actually appreciates me.” The two of you watched Gayoon stalk off before turning to grin at each other and high five.
“She’s so funny,” Jihyun said, and you agreed.
“She really is a good friend, though.”
“True. I mean, without her, I wouldn’t be here with you.” She seemed bashful again as she talked, looking down at the floor and tugging you along towards the drinks again.
Just as the two of you picked up cups and started drinking, the music began playing. The first song was something EDM and upbeat, and you bounced along gently as you drank the punch, warming up. Jihyun downed her drink and tossed it into the trash before extending her hand to you.
“Would you dance with me?” It was cheesy, but you grinned and downed the rest of your drink as well before taking her hand.
“I’d love to.”
Everyone had started to move to the dance floor, and it was quickly getting crowded, but Jihyun grabbed your hands and you didn’t feel scared or claustrophobic at all. Instead, you focused on making her smile and dancing with her, ignoring everything else around you.
Eventually, some of your mutual friends came over to form a dance circle, until a slower song came on and the dance floor cleared of everyone except for the couples. You were about to step of the dance floor yourself, catching your breath, when Jihyun tugged on your hand. When you looked back at her, she was biting her lip, obviously a bit nervous.
“Dance with me to this one too?” Your heart jumped in your chest and all the tired you’d been feeling flew away as you fell into her arms.
Slow dancing was a bit harder than it looked, and it took you a minute to match your pace with hers. She was so close, and it was making it a bit hard to breathe. Especially when she looked up at you and your eyes met, and your mouths were only inches apart. You swallowed, and she licked her lips.
“Um,” she said, voice low so that only you could hear her. “I have something to tell you.” You swore that your heart stopped beating and your lungs tried to crawl up your throat.
“Yeah?”
“I-I like you. I have for.... A while now. I only just now got the courage to do anything about it though.” You wanted to faint, but you didn’t, instead opting to let a smile take over your face.
“Well, that’s crazy, since I’ve liked you for a while too.” You could see the relief pass over her face and your heart started functioning again, and you felt even more like a princess than before.
“Then. Will you be my girlfriend, (Y/N)?” She tilted her head forward so that it touched yours.
“I’d love to be your girlfriend, Jihyun,” you replied, and wished that, just for a moment, the teachers would disappear so you could kiss her. Her smile grew wider, and her cheeks grew pink, and the song faded out into another, more upbeat song, causing a cheer from the single crowd. The two of you pulled away from each other for it not to look weird, but Jihyun reached for your hands and wouldn’t let go of them. “Just one thing,” you said, and for a moment, she stalled.
“Yeah?”
“Let’s sit this next song out, these heels are killing my feet.” She burst into laughter at your words and began pulling your off the dance floor, and her hands felt warm as she guided you away.
“Of course, princess.” And yeah, it was true. You really did feel like a princess.

Stepping Back (Jaehyun x Reader)
Admin: Mimi
Prompt/Ask: Hello :-)) please can I request an nct scenario? One where you're dating johnny but jaehyun is in love with you? Possibly from jaehyun's POV?? Anyway sorry you can decide on the ending :-) thanks!!!
Fandom: NCT 127
Genre: Angst
Pairing: Jaehyun x Reader; Johnny x Reader
Warnings: Language
Word Count: 2384
A/N: *cracks knuckles* angst is my forte (apparently). Plus, writing for a bias wrecker is dangerous bc it makes you fall in love with them more. DOESN’T HELP THAT JOHNNY IS MY BIAS EITHER. Happy reading!
Once, when Jaehyun was just a child on the cusp of his teenage years, he was in love.
He was sure it was love, for isn’t love when your heart gets faster at the sight of a person? When your palms feel sweaty and you stumble over your words? When that person has the ability to make your whole entire day with a single smile, not even always aimed in your direction?
Yes, Jaehyun was in love for the first time in his life, with sweet Yujin who’s eyes were as brown as chocolate and shined brighter than a star, and it was a wonderful feeling.
Emphasis on ‘it was’, because soon whatever feelings he thought he had were crushed by the fact that Johnny, his best friend, practically his brother, also liked little Yujin with all his heart.
And that’s where things got complicated.
Jaehyun believed that he had fallen for Yujin first, and being the young boy that he was, he felt that that reason alone warranted him the ability to talk to her and ask her out to the movies so she would fall in love with him too. But Johnny disagreed, said he saw her first, and that he should be the one to try and win her heart.
Bitterness boiled between them like a hot spring, and soon the once inseparable pair turned their backs on each other, found other friends to play with, blatantly ignored each other when they passed by in the school halls, and soon enough it was if they were never even best friends to begin with. All because of a girl.
But Jaehyun being Jaehyun couldn’t stand losing someone who he considered a brother. And so, he did what his parents taught him to: he sucked up his pride for the sake of a friend and apologised. Johnny was in no better state than Jaehyun was, absolutely torn over the fight he was, over a girl who wasn’t even worth it in the end, and when Jaehyun said sorry, he asked to make a pact. Should there ever be another girl they are both interested in, one will step back in order for the other to be happy, and they will never, ever, let another girl come between them like Yujin did.
Jaehyun thought it a solid pact, and when they completed a spit shake and ran off towards the football field to play, Jaeyhun vowed in his head that he would not allow what happened with Yujin to ever happen again. His friendship with Johnny meant everything.
And for years, Jaehyun and Johnny lived by this pact, allowing one man to slide in and get the girl rather than arguing about it and letting jealousy take over them. And they were cool with it, it was a system that worked for years, and they were ok. When Jaehyun went out with Gayoon when they were sixteen, Johnny was ok with it. When Johnny was asked out by Dahae to prom, Jaehyun was fine, and went with someone else. Jaehyun was ok with everything, and when Johnny went away to an abroad summer camp just before college started, Jaehyun was still ok with everything.
What he was not ok with was two months later Johnny arrived home and greeted Jaehyun at the airport with a huge bear hug and the most beautiful girl Jaehyun has ever seen with her arm linked around Johnny’s left, and Jaehyun knew he was truly fucked, because his stomach did the most violent yet delightful somersaults, and his heart beat faster than the motorbike he learned to ride that summer.
His mind screamed at him to remember the pact, the one that saved his precious friendship with Johnny all those years ago, the one that keeps said friendship happy and functional. But it was hard to remember that when you gave a smile bright enough to rival the sun and introduced yourself, and Jaehyun felt like the luckiest man alive to have you even look in his direction. Except, he wasn’t the luckiest man alive; Johnny was, for he could see it in the way your eyes twinkled like the stars that shine above the world every night whenever you looked at him, saw it in the way you’d smile warmer than any fire burning in a cosy home any time Johnny spoke, be it about something he loves or making another one of his dumb jokes. Saw it, painfully, in the way your fingers would intertwine like two puzzle pieces, slotting together perfectly as if they were meant to be that way for all of time.
He tried to put as much distance as possible between himself and you, ignored the agonising pain in his heart whenever he pictured you in his mind, and tried to space out whenever Johnny rambled on about all the perfect things about you that only served to make Jaehyun fall deeper in love with you. He looked at romance films in minor disgust now, the saying ‘distance makes the heart grow fonder’ only serving to make his blood boil, and any sign of couples he’s seen just made him want to crawl into a dark hole and wallow in his misery of a one-sided love he refused to admit.
Johnny was adamant about the both of you bonding – something about it being an initiation process for you before you could really fall in love with Johnny; if you got on well with Jaehyun then you were perfect for him and he could spend the rest of his days with you by his side, Jaehyun being left to watch on the sidelines. Jaehyun just gave a strained laugh and thought nothing of it, thought that the few times he had encountered you were enough, said that you were nice (which, he thought, was the understatement of the century), and that would be that. But when Johnny sneakily organised for the two of you to meet in a café under the guise of meeting him, Jaehyun had no other option than to stay in that coffeehouse with you and bask in the bitter glory of having you all to himself for an hour or two despite wanting nothing more than to run from the café and hide from his feelings.
He thought it was going to be incredibly awkward, and while that hurts his pride and hurts even more with the fact that it was the perfect way to push you further away from him, it ended up being anything but. Jaehyun can’t ever remember having a simple coffee with someone being as relaxed and as amazing as this, and he literally has to keep pinching the skin of his arm under the table to remind himself that this was not a date, you were Johnny’s girlfriend, and he would only ever simply be your friend. You make that incredibly difficult, however, when you share practically every like and dislike he has, proving yourself to be what he considers his actual soulmate, and the pinching of his arm gets more severe as one hour turns to nearly five as you both sat in the cosy alcove of the café because no, no, no, he couldn’t do this, not to Johnny. Not again.
You become a frequent part of his life now, just like Johnny, and Jaehyun honestly can’t say he dislikes the intrusion, in spite of his current predicament of being totally and utterly in love with you. The guilt weighs down on his chest like an anchor, suffocating him so badly that some nights he wakes in a cold sweat after you plague his dreams, absolutely sweet and something he craves but doing nothing whatsoever to help his situation. It’s worse when he sits with Johnny and you, has to keep his eyes from drifting to your saccharine lips that he longs to kiss, so badly it puts a dead weight in the pit of his stomach and leaves him feeling ill with betrayal.
He doesn’t know how many times he’s wished to be in Johnny’s place, and the jealousy that burns through him could make him gag if he doesn’t control himself, because not once, not even the Yujin situation, had he been this envious of Johnny getting the girl.
The girl of his dreams, the one he would undoubtedly bring home to meet his parents, the one he’d hope to marry and call his wife.
“Jaehyun?”
He’s knocked out of sombre thoughts by the trill of your voice, looking over to his right to see you seated beside him on the bench by the pier, a frown of concern marring your graceful features. It was scorching day; sun beating down on the city and its inhabitants with the highest temperatures its seen yet. A perfect contrast to his mood, dragged by Johnny and you to make the most of the weather and take a trip down to the pier to soak up the sun. Johnny had insisted that every sunny trip requires heaps of ice cream, and with that in mind he took off to find the closest stand he could, effectively leaving Jaehyun alone with you to stare out at the big and beautiful blue ocean.
“Are you listening to me, sleepyhead?” you chuckled amiably, a smile worthy of rivalling a queen, and he almost forgot the question aimed at him. He groaned internally at being caught day dreaming about you – once again – and licked his lips before answering.
“Sorry, I was just thinking about something. Ignore me. What were you saying?” he asked, intending on redirecting the focus of the conversation on you, but he should know better, because when you notice something’s wrong you aren’t one to drop it. Your caring nature doesn’t allow it, and Jaheyun both loves and hates it in this moment.
“No, something is bothering you. I’ve noticed it recently, and I’m here for you, you know that. Don’t you?” He knows that too well. “So, do you want to talk about it?” you offer, hoping to relieve some weight off his broad shoulders but the irony of your concern tastes foul in his mouth. No one could help him with this problem.
He stays silent for a moment as he thought of ways to get out of this conversation or diverting it to a reasonable topic, tonguing his cheek in contemplation. When something sprung to mind, he opened his mouth before his brain could decide whether or not it was a bad idea.
“My friend and I watched this…movie, the other night. In it, there was a love triangle between two best friends and this girl. The girl was already with one of the guys, but the other friend loved her so much, with all his heart,” he explained, feeling sweat forming in his palms as you stared at him intently. Fuck, maybe this was a mistake. “O-Obviously, he can’t do much about it, because even though he loves her, he cares about his best friend’s feelings. But my friend and I were just wondering what he could do, if it was a real situation. Should he just fess up and try to get the girl?”
You dropped your gaze to your lap, biting your lip in concentration. All was silent except for the scratching of Jaehyun’s nails on the wooden bench, his nerves eating away at him as he waited for your reply. He messed up, he felt it, you caught on. You know what he feels, and now everything was ruined.
“That’s a tricky situation,” you finally announced after an agonising wait, and he blinked in surprise, eyebrows inching their way up to his hairline. You continued on, completely oblivious to his expression and to the double meaning behind his hypothetical situation, and gave your own two cents on the problem. This should be interesting.
“While I think honesty is the best policy, because it always is,” you added with a nod and exaggerated wave of your hands, “I think, in this type of circumstance, his friendship should be placed above his love for the girl.”
He almost laughed but the tightening of his throat stopped him from doing so, so he settled for nodding his head and choking out “go on.”
“Well, he knew his friend longer. And he should want what’s best for his friend, so if it means giving up the girl he’s in love with, then I think he should. He’ll get over her eventually, you know? Why ruin a friendship over something like that?” you laughed, and the light notes sounded distorted in his ears amongst the background of seagulls squawking and the ocean waves.
This was it. This was what he had been denying all along, been putting off simply because he had not wanted to think on it. A part of him felt like he really could get the girl, still does. But to hear it from your own mouth was quite the eye opener, the ice-cold water he needed splashed to his face. He knows you’re right, as much as hates it, as much as he wants to reverse time and never have this conversation. But he knows that won’t happen, and he needs to face the music.
Needs to give you up.
You look at him questioningly, looking for an answer in return to your opinion. He just makes a noise in agreement, just in time for Johnny to return, hands full of the sweet, refreshing ice-cream you longed for. Your face brightens as he walks over, and Jaehyun squashes down the green monster clawing his way up Jaehyun’s chest. He can’t make an appearance anymore, he shouldn’t. Jaehyun needs to move on.
Looking over at the pair of you, he sighs quietly to himself, scooping up some of the creamy substance and popping it into his mouth. He’s never seen Johnny look as drunk in love as he does with you, not any girl in their lives ever did that. And Jaehyun realises he can’t get in the way of that.
He fought with Johnny over a girl before, and it didn’t turn out well. But with this girl, Jaehyun is going to step back despite the misery settling deep in his heart. For the sake of his friend.
He has to.

2NE1 & 4Minute as Mothers (requested)
Author’s Note: Thanks for requesting this anon! I love doing ___ as series like this! Let me know if I should do more groups as mothers! (Or even boy groups as fathers wait what) I hope you enjoy!
2NE1:
BOM
Such a caring mother
I can see her having three little girls
Her kids love to eat, Bom’s always buying them pastries and ice cream
However, she always makes sure to balance them out with good foods, worrying about her kids being healthy
Her family also really loves dogs, they end up having like four
They all have a lot of fun together, no matter where they are
Bom always spends quality time with them despite her career, Friday night is always movie night
You all wear your animal themed footie pajamas and huddle up on the couch to watch cartoons with pop corn
Her kids are involved in lots of musical choirs, in both church and school, and they all really like it. They inherited Bom’s sweet voice and always get the parts they audition for
Always plays with their toys with them, participating in board games and tea parties
Buys them a crap ton of stuffed animals and little pink high top converse
DARA
Her kids are basically super humans heavily involved in athletics, academics, and social activities.
They’re all strong like her, resulting in them enjoying sports like soccer or track
They’re also super intelligent like her. They’re extremely gifted in mathematics and science, part of the Academic Decathalon, the National Honors Society, Student Council, e.t.c...
Not to mention they’re all super funny and friendly, which means they make lots of friends and everyone likes them.
Did I mention they all have killer visuals like Dara?
Like, a family couldn’t be more perfect...
However, all their activities result in Dara looking like this most of the time ^^^^
CL
Teaches her kids lots of foreign languages (English and Japanese especially)
Her family is always looking super fly
Like distressed jeans, fluffy coats, designer sunglasses, fresh sneakers, the works
She really like to clean their rooms for them
She saves up her money all year to take her kids on a family vacation before school starts
She teaches them to collect experiences instead of objects, taking them to places like Thailand, France, England, Bora Bora...
They would probably grow up to writers or musicians like her
Growing up, they’ll learn several instruments like guitar, piano, e.t.c
They’d never let anyone push them around
I can see CL being like a mama bear type of mother
Loves her babies to death and will do anything to protect them
MINZY
Another dance mom
Her kids are enrolled in several different classes and are part of a competition team
After all, dancing has been in the Gong family’s blood since Minzy’s grandmother’s time
Minzy is also the head coach of their team
She got the mini van, the snack bag, the gold and purple team jackets...
I can also see her being the mom that all her friend’s kids love
Sleepovers at her house are so fun because she dgaf as long as they’re being safe
Surprisingly, Min would be a little tough on grades
It’s not the most important thing to her, but she’d want her kids to have a good education
She’d teach her girls not to take nonsense from boys, and teach her sons not to give nonsense to girls
In short, her kids would grow up to be kind, respectful, and creative individuals.
4MINUTE:
JIHYUN
Cooking Mama
Always cooking food for her kids
Like not just three meals a day
It’s more like morning snack, breakfast, lunch, after school snack, dinner, evening snack, midnight snack, repeat
They love to eat
She’d be like a mama duck, always leading her kids in the right direction
I can see her kids watching her dramas and old performances for fun, resulting in them wanting to chase musical theater
Loves watching cartoons with them on the weekends
GAYOON
Photography Mother
Documents every aspect of her kids lives
She loves going shopping with them, spoiling them with cute outfits and toys
They may be a little introverted, but her kids are very creative and polite individuals
They’d grow up to be writers or musicians like her
Special relationship with Hyuna’s kids
JIYOON
Tries her hardest to give her kids the best childhood possible
She wants the best for them
She may not have a ton of money, or be the best cook, but they’d all love their mother dearly and have happy memories of her
She’d always greet them with open arms
She loves taking them places like amusement parks or the beach
HYUNA
The super fun mom
Takes her kids to the studio with her
They’re so lucky
Hyuna loves them more than any amount of fame and would give up everything in a second for them if needed
She loves taking her kids on tours with her because she couldn’t bear to leave them behind
They’d all look up to their mother, remembering her as a beautiful and warm woman that they can always talk to.
Like CL’s, she’d make sure that her family always looks super fly
She feels bad that she’s really busy all the time, so she always makes up for it by taking them out to eat or playing with toys with them
Loves to cook for them when she has time, which is rare, so her kdis think of it as a really special thing
Did I mention killer visuals?
If you happen to loose your grip on them, they might run on stage with their mother, resulting in Hyuna smiling as she introduces them to the crowd
Leading in them loving everything about the stage, chasing music just like her
She’d also be really concerned about their health with all the traveling they did, so she’d be super cautious and caring
SOHYUN
(why are there are like no gifs of her)
Her kids would end up being at the top of their class
They’d probably be really good friends with Dara’s kids since they’re both in a crap ton of stuff
She’d take them to cello lessons, piano lessons, e.t.c
She’d want the best for her kids. She wants them to have as much happiness as they have given her
Congratulates them on all their achievements like student council or concert performances

4minute on the return of superwoman
Today is the first filming of The Return of Superwoman, and Jihyun is feeling extremely nervous. She’s not too sure how the twins, her son and daughter, are going to handle cameras; not to mention if they’re going to enjoy what she has planned. Jihyun is very open about her love for yoga, being quite skilled at it, she thinks the twins are old enough to attempt to participate with her guidance. Holding hands while walking to the yoga studio, Jihyun explains where they’re going today. “Mommy has something really exciting for you two today! We are going to Mommy’s yoga studio! I’m going to teach you cuties how to do yoga!” Once in the studio, the twins struggle a bit to concentrate but Jihyun bribes them with the promise of ice cream if they try. Guiding her children sweetly, the twins manage fairly well with cool positions and stretching exercises. After the yoga session Jihyun feels very relieved and proud of her son and daughter, and is happy to indulge them in a sugary treat. Until Jihyun’s daughter surprises her by saying, “Mommy we had fun! You were so cool!” Feeling giggly Jihyun reaches down to kiss her children on the heads before walking them back home.
Gayoon is a little uncertain for today’s filming. Her daughter is currently battling her terrible twos plus she’s in an intense clingy stage with her other mommy, Gayoon’s wife. Just as she predicted her daughter wakes up super cranky, fighting Gayoon every step of the way from eating breakfast to getting dressed. Although she’s experienced in dealing with her daughter, she can’t help feel defeated because Gayoon was looking forward to bringing her baby girl on a shopping date. At the mall, baby Heo handles herself much better than earlier and Gayoon starts to feel relieved. While shopping the two girls try on clothes together, posing in front of the mirrors while taking goofy pictures; which Gayoon later happily sends to her wife. At their very last store she convinces her daughter to try on a cute yellow dress, as she watches her baby twirl around Gayoon realizes that her daughter has a complete hold on her heart. Brushing her daughter’s hair behind her little ears Gayoon tells her, “Aigoo! You look so beautiful baby! Mommy’s little princess!” before giving her a sweet kiss. After the day is over Gayoon tucks her baby girl in bed, and thinks “It was great day today. My baby makes everything worth it.”
Jiyoon is undoubtedly excited to be filming today, because she’s planned for her son to go to a dog café. He’s been in love with any and every dog he’s come in contact with, majority of his stuffed animals are dogs and his bedding even has little Russell Terriers on them. To say Jiyoon’s son adores dogs would be an understatement. That’s why Jiyoon is extremely enthusiastic to take her son out for the day. Her son, going through the natural stages of childhood, has reached the curious stage where he asks questions all the time. Jiyoon thinks that before they left the house he asked about 30 questions, however, she’s a mom who answers questions thoughtfully. Entering the dog café, both her and her son can barely contain their excitement! Bending down to his level she asks him, “Wah! Look at those doggies! You wanna go pet one?” Adorably watching her son give and receive love from the dogs is undoubtedly the cutest thing. In her thoughts, Jiyoon secretly promises to always keep a smile on her son’s face. Drawn out of her thoughts by her son saying, “Mommy! Mommy! This doggie’s fur has the same color as your hair! And this one as momma’s too! Look!” Bursting in laughter she give him a kiss cheek before resuming their play date.
Hyuna’s family is the newest addition to the Superwoman show, today is her first filming with her daughter. She is undoubtedly anxious as this will be the first time she has her daughter for more than a few hours without her wife. Hyuna’s daughter is camera shy as she struggles to be comfortable with strangers, Hyuna decided to take her baby girl to her dance studio. She determined that her daughter will feel more relaxed in a private setting, a familiar one. Although leaving the house is a bit hectic as she scrambles to pack everything her baby might need, as they drive to the studio Hyuna soothes her nervousness. Filling the silence Hyuna says, “We’re going to have fun today! Mommy’s going to show you something she loves. But not more than I love you and Mom!” Once in the practice room Hyuna shows her daughter her old music videos, “See isn’t Mommy pretty?” Teaching small bits of choreography to her baby girl, seeing her laugh, and overall being able to spend such intimate time with her daughter was an eye opener for Hyuna. She realized that being close to her baby wasn’t nerve-wracking as she previously thought, that she can share her career with her daughter. Through this opportunity Hyuna became more content and carefree with her daughter, she can become the mother she wants to be.
Recently Sohyun has been struggling to handle her two sons enormous amounts of energy, as her sons got older she’s shocked by how their excitement grows each day. For this week’s filming Sohyun decided to plan an outing that will help release some of their energy. As her sons are older, they can understand the concept of fairness and rules in sports, so she wants to teach them how to play soccer. Although, Sohyun barely knows the rules to soccer herself, she made sure the night before to do some research. Leaving the house with two young boys is always a challenge, and today her youngest son let go of her hand when she was talking to her oldest. Thus she spent ten minutes nervously wandering looking for her son, before finding him near an ice cream truck. Once the three of them resume their walk to the park everything falls into place. Her boys listen well as Sohyun teaches them to shoot the ball, count points, play fairly and nicely. Letting her babies run and play to their hearts content as she watches them puts Sohyun in a state of relief and joy. Until she sees her youngest get tripped by his brother, quickly getting up she rushes over there, until she sees her oldest help him up, brush him off, and give him a sweet, apologetic kiss. After her two sweethearts are tuckered out, Sohyun holds her babies hands the whole way home thinking to herself, “They’re growing up too fast. But I’ll enjoy every day I have with them.”
