Her (concept of a short story)

The Hanslen family moves to a place named The South County, where the community is built like a tight-knit sweater, like family. So when 30 men get brutally killed, they point their fingers at the newcomers, although Hanslens have only given them kindness and compassion, they're first to blame, especially their teenage daughter, Faith, who's run away at the sight of her family getting possibly jailed. Then, she meets this girl who explains she also, has been "wronged" by this damned county. They "make a little noise," as the girl says, and go on a destructive killing spree. When Faith falls in love, she's almost dead, but one last line...

The girl smirked on top of the bleeding out Faith, who laid on her back on the floor of her empty college campus. "You know what they call me, Faith?"

"I never, never wanted to do this, I did this for you, for you. Was it really worth it, though? Me, for this county's eyes to fall back upon you?" Faith's mouth spilled with blood, but the girl seemed to love it, touching her face, enjoying her blood like a hungry vampire.

She didn't respond but laugh to herself and pull out the knife and walk away, but she stopped at the doorway.

"They call me Faith's End." The girl ripped off the locket her late lover, Faith, gave her.
