Contained: Part 1
The pounding against a bloody forehead became more prominent as pale cloudy eyes began to flutter open. The figure sat across the room dressed in head to toe police attire, his face was in the shadows Aaron's vision floated in and out of focus causing her eyes to shut once more. "What happened to me? Where am I?" She questioned to herself, her head throbbed in that moment she felt like her heart beat was pulsing inside her throat. Every thud gave her head another strike of pain which soon caused Aaron to slip into a state of unconsciousness once again. "You're not fun when you're like this..." The figure scoffed, he took a step into the light Aaron layed there like a rag doll barely breathing. "I know I didn't hit you that hard Princess." Just as he began to keel down checking her pulse Aaron's eyes snapped open catching the gaze of the capturer his dead brown eyes softened slightly, "There's my Warrior Princess." She swallowed hiding the curiosity in her hues from him. Kai Parker...his face came into focus that crazy eyed yet sharp featured face which was some how almost pleasant to stare at. Aaron inhaled sharply half annoyed that he was in her presents yet again. She slipped her tongue over her dry lips. "W..w-water." His deep smirk appeared upon his thin pink lips pulling the bottle from his back pocket. Untwisting the cap he kept a close eye on Aaron...as she did him. She allowed him to press the bottle of water to her lips she drank most of it down in large gulps until he pulled the moister away from her. "uh..uh.ah...no more." He shook his finger in front her face. The blonde snapped at it. "Kai, what did you do to me?" The smirk grew as the same finger glided over the bottom of her chin. Her hands, she wiggled him behind her back trying to get loose enough to attack. "Whatever I want to do to you, you're mine now. This time, nobodies taking that away from me." Her eyes grew in a way that the male detested, Kai pulled back enough to cut her hands free. "Sit..stay." He ordered her like a mutt. "You're sick!" Aaron shrieked, "That maybe my darling girl, but I just can't help it you see I've told you before...sociopath." His grin creeped up over his thin lips yet again which made Aaron's skin crawl. "Get comfortable Princess." The male disappeared, "Kai! Wait! You can't...you can't leave me in here!" She screamed slamming her fist repeatedly into the metal sides of the building. "What had even happened?" Aaron spoke out loud, bare-dirty feet planned on the cold gray flooring. She huddled her knees to her chest attempting to keep as much body heat as possible. The last thing she remembered was being at Mystic Grill she had gotten a job there as a waitress in order to save up enough to buy a car and get the hell outta town. Aaron knew this place wasn't safe for her any longer too many people had realized who she was...no what she was and what she could do. "That's right...He showed up out of no where." She kept the words in her throat as the memories began to flow back into her mind. It's not like Aaron was ever all that afraid of Kai. Obviously he was more entertainment than anything to her that's why she allowed him into her life. Each time she saw him she felt more warmth inside...as if he was filling her soul with happiness just with the laughter they shared together...which was a problem for her, because she realized too late Kai only wanted one thing. Mr. Parker wanted her soul her life her body to belong to him and only him in order to use her. Aaron Blackburn was his life sized doll.
"Blackburn, table seven CLEAN UP NOW!" A shout passed a male's throat just as Aaron smashed her cigarette into the pavement. Her fawn brown boots trampled the tin white paper until the ashes were put out. "Yea yea I'm coming!" The blonde flattened the wrinkles in her dark red - Tshirt turning around to snatch the door handle until she felt a blow to the head. Aaron's human body layed limp upon the pavement, blood gushing from her head. The blonde's pale eyes fluttered open as she was being carried to a white car with some kinda decals all over it. Her head rolled over into the chest of the male, "Kai?" The worst part about the whole thing was Aaron cared about Kai she wanted to help him, the blonde hadn't learned a valuable lesson yet...about how you can only help the people who wish to be helped. Kai Parker, was not one of those people and so...she ended up here... Half clothed, on a cold floor attempting to find a way out. Which at this point seemed impossible.
The blonde's stomach growled the light that was coming from the one window at the peek of the barn was growing smaller and smaller she figured it must be about dinner time. Aaron rested her head upon her knees pulling them into her, slowly rocking. "Why...does this keep happening to me?" Water built up within her eyes streaming down her face as she began to accept her fate. "Aaron." She heard a whisper, snapping her neck behind her. "Oh Aaron..." She felt a tug on her hair. "Hello?" That was either a mistake or the best thing she had done since she got in here. Stiles's figure pushed through the shadows. "Hey, little Nerco." Aaron's eyes widen, grasping her arms around his neck. "Stiles, oh my god how are you even here?" A smirk grew over his lips rubbing his hand down her back. Which felt...odd and different to Aaron she pulled back to look at him. "We have to get the hell out of here." The male smiled, cupping her cheeks. "Oh no no no...You're going to stay here. I'm going to play a little game with you." The blonde's eyebrows pulled together searching his brown eyes. The blonde yanked her frame from his crashing to the floor and crawling to the corner of her cage. "No...no." Water. Electric Shock. Aaron could barely breathe... "No no stop stop stop!" It was too late, the fear that twisted with in her stomach made her ill. Glancing toward the 'Stiles' whom had just sent electic waves into her. "I'll be back, baby." Aaron winced as he tried to touch her. Curling up in a ball she drifted off to sleep.

Hex Girls: Part 3
"Don't be afraid of the dark, the dark is nothing to fear."
The girl seemed shy and scared at best but Aaron decided to ignore that and move in to grasp her hand with a warm smile. Her red lipstick stretched with her lips. Widening her hues slightly as she felt the change in temperature. She pulled it off cool with a flip of her hair from her free hand. The blonde pushed herself up from the mossy ground. Aaron swallowed, "Your family?" She questioned peeking at the head stone behind her. It read Norris than she turned her head toward the one across from them. Which read Gilbert, she c*cked her eyebrow twisting around to look at Elena. "Elena....Norris, no no you even LOOK like a Gilbert." Aaron stumbled over her words. Realizing what she had just done. Over looked the pain of her family's death in order to make a joke.
Aaron politely apologized, leaning against the angel sculpture. The blonde managed to pull a small smile upon her plum red lips. "How did they die?" Her hand pointed toward the Gilbert grave. "You don't have to tell me. I just ask because I lost my parents too." Aaron bit her lower lip almost hard enough to bring blood. "They left us, all alone." She mumbled. "I don't miss my dad much." She continued pressing her lips firmly together wiggling her lips attempting to keep the burning from her eyes, the tears to fall. She refused it. "My mom is a different story." It almost began to feel hot in the area that Aaron was standing. "...not this." She mumbled, another blackout.....
The smell of burnt hair nothing Aaron ever liked, and fabric, leather was even worse. The blonde's eyes opened to the heat the orange flames. "Momma!" Her voice cracked calling for the woman. "Mom." She coughed her lungs filling with smoke yet again. It was like a nightmare, it still was. Burned into her mind. Aaron's weak frame stood up from the bed grabbing the door handle. She quickly jumped back rubbing her now red hot hand. The blonde raced to the window, trying to unlatch it. She noticed someone watching the fire. Aaron's hair stood up on the back of her neck. "Dear god, what is happening?" Her tiny fingers fiddled with the latch until she noticed the floor beginning to burn in her room Aaron grabbed the lamp that had set on her night stand since she turned 13 slamming it into the window. The glass flying everywhere. Aaron knocked what she could out with the lamp shade. Slowly slide out onto the roof of the house. Her eyes began to shut, her lungs felt like sand paper. "Mommy." She whispered as her eyes fell closed, passing out from the smoke and heat.
"And when I woke up all these really hot firemen were all around me. I was in the grass and well my parents were all burned up, gone, dead...poof. It was like they never existed, actually it was like I didn't either. Course all my stuff burned up and my house back in Tennessee was empty since we were in the process of moving to New Orleans." Aaron went on, slowly twirling a piece of her short blonde hair. The black blended nicely with her golden locks almost as if they represented her singed hair, or the black spots inside her soul. Even her mind had blackness, holes where she couldn't remember things or just things she blocked out. Aaron Blackburn was a mystery, not just to others but to herself. "Yeah I used to have longggggg long long hair like down to my ass but it got burnt so I'm stuck with this....nightmare, although I kinda like it. What do you think?" Aaron done a little spin with a laugh stopping on her flat feet she felt like a fairy with her hair cut, just like Tinkerbell.
Aaron wasn't actually sure why but she felt compelled to tell this girl her story, her life, the ups and downs she had faced since her parents kicked the bucket. She went on about her uncle Eric and the mental ward. She left out everything involving Damon and Kai for some reason she felt like it would of been a bad idea. The blonde smiled a real smile for the very first time in a while as she tilted her head toward the book in the brunette's hand. "Are you a writer?" Aaron's crimson lips slipped into a half grin. "I write a little too...mostly lyrics or poems." She explained. A creek from the gate nearly made Aaron jump out of her skin. She took a deep breath. "You-whooooo Aaron." A male's voice called.
The blonde groaned, "I have to go but you'll be here tomorrow right? I've got something to give you." She grinned dashing off toward the sound of a familiar voice,...not just one too Aaron but to Elena. "Where's my piece of pie girly?" Kai's lips curled up to see his white teeth as he laughed. Aaron huffed, twisting past him and the iron gate. His hand grasped the back of her shirt. "Did you get any new information for me today?" She swatted at his hand, "Noooo...have you figured out the spell to bring my mother back?" He just smiled that sick psychopathic smile. Aaron shook her head with a roll of her eyes.
Kai walked Aaron home - well to her new home inside the Salvatore's boarding house. Kai Parker was a horrible person, but Aaron attempted to look past it...As she did for the male on the steps with his arms folded annoyingly toward the couple. Kai brushed his fingers over her cheek gave her wink and he was gone. "You always hang around with such sh*tty people?" Aaron rolled her eyes "sourvamp." The blonde inhaled making her way up the steps, Damon grabbed her arm. "I mean it Aaron the dude is bad news." She nodded. "Okay. Can I go now daddy?" She teased he let her go, but not before giving her one of his constipated looking faces. Damon always looked horrible when he was mad. Aaron avoided him, and went straight to her room.
The room Damon provided for her was small but big enough for a girl her age. The blonde plopped down on her bed, reaching under the mattress for her journal. Stefan had so kindly given to her. She flipped the page to a blank one slipping the pen from the slot in the spine of the book. She began to write:
"I don't even really know who I can trust anymore. I know Damon has his own motives for keeping me around, but so does Kai. So where do I really belong? It's like I'm lost in a corn maze endlessly looking for a way out. Which in this game the only way out is death, and I've already tried that....once." Aaron bit her pen chewing on the cap a little. "I met this girl she seems a lot like me, actually. Has no family hangs out in graveyards...sounds alot like me actually." Aaron smirked,"she's pretty too, I just have this funny feeling when she touched me. Like she wasn't really there but she was I touched her. I guess things aren't always what they same. Huh?"
The blonde shut the book tucking it under her mattress. Stripping off each piece of clothing until she was in just pink panties, she snatched the men's T-shirt hanging from the bed's headboard and slipped that over her head. Resting her head into the pillow she fell into a deep slumber.
Aaron didn't go back to the graveyard until late the next night. The fog had already begun to make the creepy area more spooky than it had been the previous night. "Elena?!" Aaron shouted slipping through the iron gate. A couple of corpse peeked their decaying heads out from their resting place. "Go back to sleep guys." Aaron mumbled walking past them invitation in hand for Aaron's graduation party. "Elena!" The blonde walked toward the Gilbert grave but she was no where to be found. The blonde sighed, resting her hand on top of the gravestone......She seriously wish she hadn't. Elena had died, almost. But her parents drowned Aaron saw it all. "Two girls, fire and water. How ironic."
"What is in the darkness is a completely different story."

Hex Girls: Part 2
Little clouds of fog lifted up from the ground as the lights of the town were a dim glow of a background through the trees as if this little area was untouched by the madness that little Mystic Falls had fallen prey to. The cool breeze of the dark night causing little goosebumps to course her skin as the girl walked. Abandoned by the world, St. Vincent's cemetery was quiet with a simple blur of headstones and shrubbery that had been built up from years of negligence. Soft squishing sounds emerged from the young woman as she walked past row after row of stone structures. Taking deep and slow breaths, as she made her way toward the willow tree, the grip on the little book in her hand tightening. Stopping as she looked down at the plots below, she read the names of each of her family members... "Jonathan Gilbert, Jenna Sommers, Miranda and Greyson Gilbert...Jeremy Gilbe-" she paused as she looked down at her little brother's stone. The one that held no body but still read "Brother and Friend? What genius came up with that one?" Her voice was soft as a small smile pulled at the corner of her lips. It had been a while since she thought about that night, her body slowly lowering to the ground as she rest her back against the tree.
Raising her legs to rest the book against, she slowly flipped through the pages as she watched page after page, date after date float away until she reached the next blank page. The last two blank pages of her book. Her fingers gently played with the grass as she let out a little sigh, her body feeling a little more weight on it as realized speaking with a whisper "The end of the road." Elena shook her head as she ran her fingers along the words she had written about a month prior, attempting to save as much space as she could until she reached the journal's end. "Guess I should ask you to tell Jeremy, thank you for putting this... in the coffin for me, huh mom?" Looking up to the grave stone as she took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a second. Remembering her brother holding her hand and jumping into her memory...saying goodbye. Somehow between the time he held her hand and walked away, Jeremy slipped in a fresh journal with a short message in his terrible handwriting.
When you are ready to start your next adventure, Sis... just pretend you are talking to me when you write in here.I will always be with you Lena. I'll just have to save the bugging for the afterlife ;)
Love You, Jer.
"Since I am probably never going to see his face again," she opened her eyes and looked up into the skye, wondering where her little brother was. What kind of life he was living... if he ever got married ... had kids? "You know, sometimes when it's quiet like this I remember when we were little. You and dad would be away at one of those conventions. Jenna would be watching a trashy rom com on the television downstairs as me and Jer were in our rooms asleep. It had stormed once, really bad. There was lightening, and the thunder was so loud it felt like the house was shaking. Within the next five minutes, probably less... Little footsteps would be running through our bathroom and I swear the kid was a ninja when he ducked under the covers of my bed. Going straight for my teddy bear and staying close to me until we both fell back asleep." Looking back to the plots she tilted her head to the side a little and whispers, "What kind of sister am I, that I don't even know if he is dead or alive? How is that even right or fair." Her fingers gripped the grass tightly as she talked.
No one had known that the spell that Kai placed on Elena, put her corporeal form in a immortal slumber until her best friend died but never contained her soul. She was awake, while her body was stuck. She was able to touch and move things, but she couldn't speak to anyone. Because of the seal that Bonnie placed not only on the Salvatore Tomb, but another on the entire cemetery, keeping all supernatural beings from being to enter the place, Elena couldn't even wander the rest of the town. What kept the bad out, also kept her locked inside. There was nothing she could do about that. She watched day after day the town fall apart from the gates of the cemetery. The one person who could have seen her, had left right after he said his goodbye to his sister. The ones that she wished to see and speak to were here one moment and gone the next. However some nights, when Matt's police car would drive through town, hearing the screams and sirens from within, she would look up to that clock tower and see someone there. Looking over the town. God knew how much she wished he could have seen her too... but that was a long time a go. She hadn't seen that shadow in quite some time... in a year to be exact.
Knowing that this would be the last piece of paper that she would be able to write, she thought about what she wanted to say before slowly moving her pen across the page:
- - - - - -Dear Jeremy,
Even though I know you will never read this, I know that if I see you in the future you will be different. Probably have a family of your own, and ready to die of old age. You had told me that you had done everything that you wanted to do in life. That you lived it to the fullest. I'd like to believe that. You are my baby brother. How could I not wish for that? But Jeremy, if you could read this I would like to tell you something... something that you need to know.
All of this time that I had spent away from you, not a day had gone by that I didn't miss you. That when you were holding my hand in the casket... Jeremy I was holding the hand you held to the side in a grip as soon as you came from my mind, I was standing beside you and until you walked away without looking back. I didn't realize you could hear me when I said that I loved you bubba. . . until you said, "right back at yah big sis..." just as you walked out that door. But it was too late. You were gone. And no one would ever know that I was trapped in this in between... Being alive but not fully living... Stuck in this cemetery... missing you... my friends... Damon...
Jer it was so weird watching him walk away... After he said goodbye, I was out of my mind and beside him, he was walking out the door and when I moved to follow him ... I banged into the casket. It moved. But the door was already closed. I was trapped. I had opened up the casket... not believing this was real and found the journal right next to my hand. The journal and a pen.
I tried you know? Tried to keep it from filling up... spacing out how long I went without writing in it...but I guess time doesn't wait forever. Everything comes to an end. It seems fitting though that the end of this journal is today. Today of all days...And Jer? I want to tell you thank you. Thank you for being the annoying pain in the butt little brother. Because no matter how big or old you get... I will still remember hugging you tightly during a thunderstorm.
Thank you for keeping me sane for these years of my solitude Jeremy.I love you, Bubba.
xoxo, LenaMay 14th, 2025

Closing the diary one last time, Elena wiped a tear that was falling from her eye, closing her eyes before more could follow. Ten years. It had been ten years since the spell. Ten years since she had said goodbye to her loved ones. Ten years since...-BAM!
Elena jerked back as she saw the other girl fall forward, landing in the pile of leaves after tripping over Elena's...wait! 'What?! Did that girl just trip over me or am I finally losing my mind?' Elena thought to herself as she watched the girl scramble back, and began to ramble... a lot. Like the way Caroline used to ramble when she did something wrong. A little smile began to form over Elena's lips until she stopped...this had to be a figment of her imagination. There was absolutely no way that this girl was speaking to her. Turning her head back and forth, looking around, she didn't notice anyone only... "You still creep me out." she mumbled to the angel that the girl...Aaron? Is that what she said her name was?...had been staring at before turning back to the girl and seeing her hand stick out toward her. Not knowing what to do or what to say, honestly completely curious if this was real or an illusion, she decided to play along. There was nothing better for her to do now that the journal was filled to the brim. "I'm Elena..." she whispered as she reached out and grasped the other girl's hand, gasping a little under her breath as she felt the warm hand against her cold one. "I'm visiting my family..." her brown eyes met the girl's light blue. And it was official. I have completely lost my mind.

Hex Girls: Part 1
"The unknown is never really unknown it's always there. you just have to look for it."
"This party blows." The blonde began to mumble as she press her blue solo cup to her lips taking a giant swig of what seemed to be a blue vodka punch mixed with a bit of rum and moonshine. Could of knocked anyone on their ass, but Aaron seemed to handle it pretty well until her nose curled in disgust to the liquid burning her young throat. She swore glancing around the totally insane party scanning the room for her friends whom she noticed was being lead up stairs by a male who seemed a little bit more interested in a make out session. Aaron slowly made her way back to the kitchen to grab another cup of poison. Bumping into girls - boys, it didn't even matter they were all started to look the same as Aaron pushed on it seemed like the kitchen just kept getting further and further. Her heels clicking onto the hard wood floor and suddenly it seemed she was in an empty room. The blonde gaze flickered from wall to wall as she realized she was in the same house but how could everyone just disappear like that? The blue and yellow flowered wall paper taunted her in laughter, no there was laughter echoing from what seemed to be the living room. She could still hear the music, the laughter, the glup of drinks but her vision was fixed upon the room with a single rocking chair. Aaron's face twisted up in a worrisome way as to what she was about to face. Another dead body, another ghost, another lost soul? Aaron wasn't even sure, her black combat boots carried her deeper into the room toward the wooden piece of furniture whom now seemed to be rocking all on it's own. "Hello..." The blonde whispered almost fearful. Aaron exhaled a huff of frustration and fear, as she did she noticed the smoke poring from her mouth. It had turned icy cold Aaron's gray-blue eyes moved around the room quicker. Instead of moving forward toward the feelings that gravitated her toward the chair she begun to back away. That was a smart move, Aaron's shoulder crashed into another person and the entire room filled up with people. The music began to boom once again and she was no longer alone in this house. The girl apologized, but Aaron would of rather thanked her for her sudden sharp hit to her shoulder for it woke her from a fearful situation. "I need some air." Aaron whispered to herself, making her way out of the party house and down the drive away. She didn't stop there she began to walk...home. Well...her new home. She wasn't even sure she could call it home. A small blue house where her uncle took her in. The thing was she didn't even know him, and he didn't know her..Even if he was trying his hardest to get her to open up to him. She never would, that house was not her home. This town was just another city full of dead...and she was just another lost soul crying for someone to give a damn. The night air helped clear her head as she closed her eyes making her way quietly down the street toward what she believed was her house. The booze still running threw out her veins she decided to move onto the grass to wall. Dragging her feet in the dirt. "I mean how can I even control this if I can't even get drunk...and avoid the dead. I mean how is that fair." Aaron glanced up to the stars. "I MEAN WHY DID YOU EVEN GIVE ME THIS F***ING GIFT IF I CAN'T SEE MY OWN PARENTS?" She shouted, throwing her hands in the air. Drunk and frustrated, a car zoomed past and Aaron found herself stumbling over onto the ground. She layed there in silence for a moment. Almost wishing the car had hit her, that this horrible life would be over. That this would be the last breath she would ever take...but it wasn't. Black outs had been happening to her since the fire. Which would explain why the next time she opened her eyes she was standing in front of what looked like Mystic Falls on personal graveyard. Aaron exhaled a huff of frustration and fear catching her eyes on a figure raising from a gravestone. It's body half decayed and burnt up like it had been killed in a car accident, his guts still peeking out from his stomach. Her eyes quickly moved away, she begged her feet not to move toward the gates...but her skinny pale pink fingers couldn't help but move the iron gate to the side as she slipped in and the rush of magic filled her soul. Dark spirits, good spirits it didn't matter she could feel each pain, each tear, each happy memory. Aaron inhaled closing her eyes to calm herself force control, and focus on one stone. She walked row by row by row. She began to realize most of these people weren't dead at all, it seemed like Mystic Falls didn't even need their own necromancer someone else was already raising the dead. It was darker than she would of liked as she walked past a willow tree some stone angels staring at her as if to say get out you do not belong here. Aaron's eyes glued to the glazed over eyes of the beautiful angel.BAM, she was flat on her back scrabbling backward into a near by headstone. She caught the whites of a girl's eyes. "I...I..I didn't s-s-see you. I'm so sorry!" Aaron almost shouted, but quickly dropped her head. "I thought I was the only...living person here." Aaron swallowed, "I mean!" She began to ramble collecting her words. "I mean I thought I was the only person visiting the grave yard this late." She nodded reassuring herself that it was the correct way of speaking. Aaron honestly thought she sounded like an idiot. "What are you doing here?" Her head moved to the side as she caught the girl's pale face. Her brunette hair hanging in her face, almost reminded her of herself. "I'm Aaron." She slowly moved forward shoving out her hand.
"But once you look, you may never get a normal life again."
